Hi
I have this phone with me i a m trying to repair. But im stuck now. You turn the phone on and it work perfectly. Send recive sms,make calls,run the phone like normal.
Now from what i can see the phone turns it self off while working on the keyboard it usally happens when your typing a sms or during a call.
The battery is perfect and full...
i have reset the software...
should i flash the phone or is it a hardware problem.

I would like to know how to just get my phone to "black out" the screen when I receive and "Accept" a phone call, like one of the s2u2 settings.
That one feature would be great because I can't get s2u2 working consistently on my phone (HTC Sprint Vogue).

try using 1.16 it seems to work the best for me on my touch
i tried it but s2u2 (also 1.16) does not work well on my Vogue.
Isnt there an app that can just black out the screen like that one particular feature in s2u2? AC figured it out for his app...

I have just installed a rom it has a slide down cover (see below ) to hide keypad is that the sort of thing ?

I have the vogue as well and thats why I told you to try the s2u2 1.16 version I haven't had any issues with it, I am not aware of any app that exists just for the blackout function alone

This is working fine. When you make a call, it vibrates and turn the screen off.
To end call, juste push the red button.

have you tried the basics, remove battery and hard reset it?

Some people had it fixed under warrenty, others couldn't because it didn't fell under the HTC warrenty. Very strange indeed.
It is a common problem that appears if you carry your phone alot in your pockets.
Have no clue what to do about it. You should try the local HTC sellingpoint or the shop where you bought it.
You're screen is out, i had the same problem, i did must to change the screen.

yes it's the same problem
the local HTC told me maybe they will change the screen & it's very expensive

Hey everyone
Today I realised that my HD2 vibration doesnt work, I dont know why and what happened but it doesnt work, the only thing that I can say and hear is the click that I can hear whenever I try to turn on the phone , it seems its trying to vibrate but cant , only one click and the phone boots up normally , everything else works fine , I can also hear the click whenever I recieve a call or text .
What can I do to fix it ?
Basically I could fix it, the problem was flash cover, camera flash cover or glass as you can see in the picture had been pushed in a little bit and because it is exactly on the vibration motor itd prevent it to work

So I opened the phone and pushed it back , now its working
I fixed it, and edited the topic coz thought it might be useful as this might happen to someone esle

Nice fix. Did the cover or it's supports break, or did it just pop out of position?
It wasnt loose, so probably something from outside caused it pop out of its position.
Hello ppl,
I just changed the baterry of my hd2 and when I booted the phone I got a black lock screen with the hours and date...
Plus a message saying:
"try agian in 1276 minutes"
after this got the emergency call button only....
Anyone know what is cause of this and if it has any quick solution?

It's the yuki rom....
Also I can receive sms and it seems that the phone is working properly...

why? why not try task29 and all from beginning? also if you want change to another ROM, dont forget to unlock SDcard
My usb port is damaged...
The problem started when i borrowed my friends charger i think it's a galaxy duos? after i plugged the charger into my phone? it didn't charge so i removed it? after that, the lower part screen of my phone is not working anymore? please help. i've already done a full wipe and, downgrade to 4.4.2. from 5.0.1. still the problem persists it's driving me crazy.

That's hardware, software can't fix hardware. Take it to a specialist.
