Hi,
When I click on the "Missed calls" icon on the HTC Home screen it obviously shows only missed calls. Is there a way to default the filter to all calls instead?
Thanks in advance,
Steve

Hi,
I've been looking all around for how to tweak the registry so that the left soft key should not display the "missed call" and "voice mail" when i missed a call / got a voice mail.
to clarify - I DO know how to disable the pop up. I just don't want the soft key to change.
Is it the EventType dword? What is there other than 2?
I think that its not the Options dword. There the choices are 1,2,4,8 any any combination (3,9) to set whether it vibrates, rings, pops up, etc.
PLEASE help me get rid of the entire notification!
Thanks,
~n

Also looking for this information.
I have searched high and low trying to find a way to disable the left-softkey "notification" button for "Missed Calls" and "New Email" notification... not just the popup that is controlled by "Sounds & Notifications", but the softkey itself. On a busy phone with lots of incoming calls, voicemails and e-mails this overloaded button is a constant irritant.

I am using MagiCall and I find it is good as it can filter calls and sms, you can customize the action and day it will filter.
Magicall is pretty good, but how to filter sms i can't understand. I have to check the box Enable under sms filter to filter a call, but why is that? If i uncheck the box call not filtered. And if i select the Hangup then it's working ok,but the call disconnects after a slight ring...which isn't good, the other party understands that i m using a call filter. Isn't there any other good call filter apps? Please input some comment.

There is no any call filter programs can avoid the slight ring on the other party.
There is a work around to this 'slight ring' thing. Simply set Magicall to 'ignore' rather than 'hang up'. You wont be bothered, and they'll be left on the line. All the better to slow those annoying telemarketers.
Incidentally, in tests I've done I haven't noticed any slight rings, and I was listening for them, but this may not always be the case I guess.
So Handcent allows you to change the vibrate notification pattern for SMS.
Is there any way to change it for incoming calls? I find the current pattern bad, as it is one small 'blip' followed by a fairly long pause before it vibrates again. I'd want it to start big to get attention faster.
Is there any application out there that allows this to be changed?
+1 on this one too...I think short multiple vibrate is effective for calls too
Missed Call allows for this.

I think to disable automatic screen on for incoming calls is not possible, but it is possible for incoming sms or organizer events. Under "settings" and "sounds¬ifications" you have to choose the event. There you can disable "Display message on screen".

hi,
on my old HTC Desire, the stock contacts application have an option to auto-reject all the calls from a contact. this option is not available in stock contacts application for the tab.
howto auto-reject all the calls for any (or more than one) contact.
thx
There is a call reject list you could use to list the #s you want to reject. It's under Call settings.
