Hi guys, I am currently using a custom chinese rom (DevilStone 3.4) that is Topaz based. I really enjoy the rom but would like to flash other roms post in xda (such as Dutty's rom).
One thing that is kept me from flashing is the fact that all the WWE roms in xda do not support zh-TW ezinput. I have been looking around xda and trying to find a cab that has chinese ezinput but so far no luck.
So I am curious is there a zh-TW ezinput lying somewhere that I've missed? And is it plausible to use zh-TW ezinput in WWE roms? Thank you

hey i was wondering if blackstone will get an offical upgrade to the new touchflo3d (diamond2 or touchpro2) frm htc when the 2 phone releases.

I don't think it's reasonable to hope such thing. When you look at the Diamond2 specs, it's nearly a cut'n'paste of the Blackstone's. Allowing an official upgrade to install TF3D2 on the HD would kill the Diamond2 — commercially speaking.
But if you want to get it anyway, you should try some cooked ROMs.
Exactly as clandestino_usr said. For HTC to issue this would kill off other devices by HTC. Rather annoying as Apple give out free upgrades to existing uers, why can't HTC follow suit!!!
You best bet is to use cooked roms. Once new phones come out with newer roms etc, its only a matter of time before a cooked version is available on xda developers. Just wait a while!

Yep, there are now several new cooked roms using the 1.56 rom as a base. the 1.56 rom are the roms used in the touch pro 2 and diamond 2 (inclusive of the new manilla/touch flow 3d) - My reccomendation: Dutty's V3 Ship!

hey cool. thanks man. i found a link to wwe 1.56 rom download at htcdriver.com -- couldn't find it when i did a search here in xda. thanks a lot for the help. am downloading now. by the way, i was looking at the dutty rom thread and website for a full list of features that the dutty rom contains, or maybe even a comparison of features side by side with the standard htc rom but couldn't find it --- is that posted anywhere?
does duttys do phone keypad with t9?
i read that somewhere and that put me off this rom
i went ahead and downloaded the dutty v3 ship anyway and yes it does have phone keypad with t9
Unfortunately HD does not have the hardware zoom slider. So we can't do any controlled zoom in the album using these cooked ROMs.
So there aren't any CAB installers present for installation of newer versions of TouchFlo?
I was using cooked ROMs for a while with 2.5 on it, but have went back to the Stock version for the sake of battery life. I'm not impressed by the version 1.3 on it, but I can't find any sort of CAB files for newer versions.

if it have to be danish i believe you are out of luck. but if you can live with a WWE rom then there are lots of good roms out there, both 6.5 and 6.1. i havent had a 6.5 rom for a while but i am currently running GEN-Y 6.1 rom and i must say that i believe it is the best 6.1 rom ive ever tried else just try different roms and find the one that fits you the best
Check the Deep Shining rom from the ROM section. The WM65 is not danish, but you'll have the option to run TF3D2 in danish with 18 different XT9 languages.
I can highly recomend it.
I've just flashed my HD to the official HD rom from last April (after using many good cooked roms). Just wanted a change back to stock.
I really like the new Ezinput on all the latest roms but can't seem to find it in .cab form. I've been searching for quite a while with no definitive luck. The only one I tried was from the actual Ezinput thread and it didn't do so well on my device.
Anyone please point me to the Topaz type EzInput 2.0 that I've been using on all these great roms?

I am currently living in China and I bought a HTC HD2 with a chinese version of wm6.5 etc..
I love flashing new cooked roms but always seem to runinto the chinese input problem. Some romz come with ezInput with Chinese Simplified Support and others simply don't.
any way we could get a simple cab file to add support to any rom we choose to use? ( I hate CE star and about 10 other IME keyboards packages) the one from HTC really seems finger friendly.
If I am the only one who is looking for this then sorry for the new thread.

I made one but from the reports and my trials it doesn't seem to work on the HD2. It did work on the HD. Not sure why it does not work on the HD2. Also it has also been some experience where if you install the CHS over the WWE there is some times problems with predictive text.
I have made a ROM with CHS built in and also Zenkinz has one. The best solution for now.

hehe...i made a CAB from Asia 1.66 rom myself.
And happy that it did running in HD but regret HD2 doesnt...
i am not sure why and how to make WWE rom can use the Chinese EZinput.

yeah I took a look at the rom lost in asia with CHS support. I was soooo lost can't even extract the nbh file into anything useful .. ( it was like a chimp trying to start a BMW with out keys )
looks like I am going to have to learn how to cook romz just so I can add keyboard support to em .. omg I am so screwed ...

Don't try to extract it just flash the ROM. Read the Flashing Instruction for HSPL.
no no ... not what I meant ... I get it flashing roms.. no sweat now due to all the hard work done here by people in XDA.
my point was that in order to add CHS IME to roms that doesn't support it.
I would have to start cooking and such.

I'm looking for something like this too. I don't know wich Sense version is included in the new official 2.5 sense HTC ROM? Couldn't find it anywhere.
I hope one of the chefs use this in their new ROM, that would be awsome!

2.5.192 is an 'older' version. Try PM'ing one of your favorite Chefs as they may have a link to some older roms from around the first of the year. You could try browsing f1ip.net as well.
Or you could wait because they are updating the theme to work with the 2.5.2012 release of sense.
i want to play around with this theme too. they made 6.5.x look good. we just have to wait.
Guys, this theme doesn't got landscape support. So personally I don't think it will work nicely on Rhodium.
