Is anyone aware of any free apps that allow text to speach from PDF?

Can people recommend a text to speech application that i can use.
In voice commander If i say read SMS it reads my SMS messages outloud to me.... Can I make it do this with pdf's, documents, or E-mails? If so how?

Don't know if thats possible with voice commander. but 'Flite' reads txt documents back to you, and is quite clear. Its free see here http://www.freewareppc.com/multimedia/flite.shtml

Well I've done a bit of trawiling and discovered Tell me text.
Very basic text to speech sms reader. It works too!
Could a Dev go one more on this software so you can change the text to speech variations.

copy&paste to Word.
I use Jeyo Mobile Companion for that. You acess your phone very quickly and when it comes to messages you can choose to see messaging history. It is like a chatlog and then you can save it to txt or anything else. Later you can print it easily - either from a text doc or you convert txt to pdf and you print it then.
