Lexxirae: Could you please mod these 2 files for me? I want the same thing but only semi-transparent (like 30%, mostly solid)
I am using Ivan's ROM on my Sprint TP which came with the bars at 20%, but only for the home-tab. When installing/uninstalling custom clocks and background on all-tabs, the top bar went solid somehow. Now I can only find fully transparent 18c460d8 files like yours. If I delete the file so it restores from ROM, it is still solid, so I guess Ivan's ROM must have modding it during the first boot customization or something.
Anyway, I would really really love a 30% transparency on top bar and tabs (in all tabs), but I don't know how to make these files. Could someone please post them for me.
Thanks.
Nevermind. I learned how to do it all myself with Manila editor.
I still don't understand why when I make my image less transparent than 50%, the home tab is automatically 50%, and my image is only used on the other tabs... but if my image is lighter than 50%, then the home tab copies it. ...strange!

[Question] How to solve this issue in manila?(icons overlaping)

well, i am working now on a theme (L'amour) like nokia one, and i have an issue with icons overlaping each other, the Hero Icon appears in tray and covers the main tray icon... please advice
Since your slider is transparent, the main icon will always show through. I think the only way to fix it would be to install an opaque slider or make your hero icon so that it completely obscures the tray icon.
use NisseDILLIGAF 3 icon menu..
basically it will make the Current tab icon at the bottom invisible, so you will only see the unselected tab icon..it works great

transparent task par and start menu bar

Could any body get me an application or theme to make my taskbar and start menu bar transparent
I know of a app that will hide the taskbar and bottom bar but when you say transparent you mean invisible??
ok tell me about the app which hide them
Look for Vijay apps, you will find what you need.
but could any one heard about an app that makes them transparent like wm6.5
not possible in WM6 & 6.1
you could try WAD 3, but you'll have to pay for it, and it'll drain your battery faster...
Wisbar Advance can do it (in a way). Use a part of your wallpaper as your taskbar. Not transparant, but perfectly blending with your wallpaper.
Example: http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11747
As said... not possible in WM6.x.

menu icon change

hi all,
is thers any way that the icons in the magician could be changed,i mean we change the icon as per our mood??
If you are asking about the icons for the applications, then there is a way.
you can use 'Shortcut Creator' for that
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=275577
just edit the shortcut and change the icon and save. the shortcuts can be found in windows\start menu

Very nice post
thanks dude.
no man,
i earlier had a moto ming,
so when i installed a theme, everything from the icons to color scheme to menu bar colors would change..it's almost like a new phone.
but in my magician(upgraded to wm6) only the nav bar colors and wallpapers and other such small things change....the icons in programs remain the same
if we could get a theme which changes icons itself then it would b grt
neways thanx 4 dis app.

Looking for cab to change 4 x icons from top bar

I've installed a great little cab called tsowentaskbar6v3 that has changed the icons at the top-right of the display (the GPS, battery icon, signal strength).
But what I'd also like to be able to do is change the icons that appear when you click on one of these little icons - it takes you to the ugly screen showing the black and white old-style icons for battery, volume, etc.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
Many thanks!
