Htc touch dual (neon) wm6.5 - Touch Dual, MDA Touch Plus General

hi
Can some one please tell me if there is wm6.5 available for telstra htc touch dual(neon)? and where can i download it from?
i am really tired of searching
thanks

after working on niki wm6.5 rom, i finally made it work on my htc neon.
it will shortly be available for everyone.

Wow as a neon user, I am looking forward to trying it out. Can't wait..

bump!
I am also looking for a neon rom.
Hope you have time to upload it soon
Cheers

I too am watching this thread as my attempts to cook one have failed dismally.

Ok I got one working!
not the best way, but download this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=500021
Get a hex editor and change NIKI100 to NEON200
Flash then away you go!.
im guessing some things wont work, but it atleast boots.
I couldnt any of my cooked ones to boot past the loading screen.

ok after the whole day of use, everything but the camera button seems to work. the camera itself works fine.
Battery life just lasted the day, but im guessing thats to do with HSDPA so I'm going to disable it and see how it goes tomorrow.
Other than that, runs great!

Tried the above one looks good, loads, but keyboard doesn't work. Will try one of the nike 20 key ones later today.

Both work,
20 key version you can use the keys as numbers only. Radio disappears in both versions. Until there is a proper neon 6.5 version out there I will stick with 6.1

This is for the Niki, not the Neon. It might work to boot, but it is still the wrong device.

JIVETALK for WinMo6

OK BeeJive has released Jivetalk (alpha) for WinMo6.x pro devices
It is truly a marvel on my Hermes(Cingy 8525)
Heres my issue I cannot get it to run for the life of my on my Herald(tmo wing)
I have tried several roms and it wont work
Open Touch, Touch-IT, and another i cant remember at this time
I want some other Wing users to see if they have the same issue also
Also I will post some screenshots to make your mouth water!!
yeah i have open touch 4.0 lite and it doesn't work, fails to startup. when i had the original tmobile rom on my wing, it worked.
The JiveTalk cab of yours work perfectly on my O2 terra, a Herald variant.
Used to use Palringo until today but JiveTalk seems to take over that place, thanks btw
I checked out the Jive site and there you could make a HTC P4350 and a T-Mobile Wing selection.
I'm not sure if this is just a marketing questionaire or a hardware id related question field.
Which version did you pick?
When I login to various IM networks the status messages is "On HTC P4350",
my assumption is that it could be hardware related.
Try if selecting the Wing version makes a differences if not try to use JiveTalk over WiFi,
because your mobile carrier might block the appropriate port via proxy.
CONFIRMED

FLASHED BACK TO TMO ORIGINAL (on my HERALD)
And it worked like a charm
This app is tht HOTT to me
I cant understand why it wouldnt work with the custom roms though
Make a ROM cooker cn shed some light on that
PS: Your Welcome Gambit.
I figure get it while its free!! because one day it will cost $
Im keeping a copy of every version, but i believe on first startup it will authenticate to jivetalks server first so that maybe frivolous
UPDATE

VP3Gv3.62 WORKING
Working on Vp3G 3.62 Hermes ROM!!!

The roms it doesnt work on are because they do not have SQLCE cooked in
Must be "cooked in" for jivetalk to work
Works on all Binky11's ROMS and all vp3G's as well
SQLCE and .NET CF are both required for JiveTalk to work.
I haven't managed to get Jivetalk to work on my phone, after trying to install everything... still errors every time...

Same here. Got .NET CF 2.0, 3.5 and SQL CE installed and still no luck.
Itje's 7.1 ROM was the the last ROM JiveTalk could run properly.
Anybody know how to enable the today plugin for the newest JiveTalk? It's not under start>settings>today>items.
you have to download it separately. after you do that and install it will show up where the normal today plugins show up in that list. it shows up for me.
does anyone know where it saves logs? or how to delete them? i think they are taking up a lot of my memory, i only have 3.2MB left and i am not putting ANYTHING on my phone and cleartemp clears like 500KB
Care to show me the download for the today plugin because it's nowhere to be seen on there site =O?
i couldn't begin to tell you where it is. the only reason i know about it is because when i updated it told me i can either edit a css file (or something) to have it work or install the cab that will automatically add it.
just checked, i don't have the cab anymore.
has anyone gotten it to work with cooked roms?? im using heralds serg's rom?? thanks guys!!
I went back to the OEM and got the today plug-in back. It is working fine on my ROM (for the Kaiser).
i emailed bee jive people and they told me it should work on custom ROMs.
however, i have a tmo wing running on papa black diamond but it doesnt work however many times i tried it. i used to have it on my blackberry and it is really the best messaging software out there
**EDIT - i found a solution to the problem.. follow instructions and install the following from this topic:

Unbelievable...
thanks cbbplanet, I never thought I would ever see JiveTalk running on Papamopps' ROM.
I know it runs out of the box on Itje's, ICP's and tttrans's ROMs, but i never got it to work on this one.
Perfect, you made my day

Phone canvas and WM6.5 not getting along

today i installed phone canvas on my blue angel and well...what can i say it works but not as intended..i have attach a screenshot so you guys cna see the little problem im having with phone canvas, and yes im using xplodes latest cab.
edit: Another thing idk if is just my device, but after installing phone canvas the device take a lil bit more to boot up.
Same thing happens on my Polaris. Also, hardware keys for answer/reject don't work, I had to slide on screen to answer.
well people htc tools do not work quite well with WM6.5, please wait for an official HTC WM6.5 rom so we can get the new HTC tools from there, i have issues with all the HTC apps under WM6.5, when i tell you that i have issues i mean that some apps work most of the time and they do not sometimes (example, sometimes task manager does not kill some apps when i hit the X even if that option is selected in settings) and other apps do not work at all ... so please be patient about using HTC apps and WM6.5
also WM 6.5 is in beta stage it may seem fast and stable but it contain some issues too
And phone canvas refuses to uninstall lol , thats my luck.
you have to hard reset mate, it is the only solution for now

A working Dusk Dialer for ATT Tilt 2

Has anyone come across a working Dusk dialer for an ATT Tilt 2? Stock TF3D 2.1.191... Windows 6.5 prof. build 21849.5.0.63
Yeah I know, but I am not ready to flash a new ROM yet, I don't need to carry around a brick until I can get it fixed. Thanks since it is only this site that has kept me from hating this phone. Why have so much potential, and yet not give your customers the key?? I'll never understand. In advance thanks

I did port over the dusk dialer for the att dialer. ( check my sig for link) It has caused some odd issues for others but works for alot of people. If you could try it and let me know.
I tried..I tried
Oh I tried it, but it did exactly the same thing as the dialers on this page though in a little different way. I have the exact setup as some of the other users that posted that they did not get it to work. It froze me out of TF3D, so I am not sure what to do. I have all of the rest of Dusk working with the exception of the shutdown screen. Kind of sucks. I should say that it did sort of work, but when I dialed (b4 it froze) the numbers were not those dialed.
I would be happy to reinstall it if you want a more specific breakdown of what occurred. Just say the word

give me some time today and ill dump the att stock rom again and use those dll to make the cab. I am not sure why it is causes issues on the stock roms.
Hey thanks for the help and take whatever time you need. I was sick of that blue themed garbage I got with my phone almost as soon as I pulled it out of the box. I had originally purchased a Samsung Solstice, but it was too girly, not heavy enough and I didn't like how the touchscreen felt so I upgraded to a Tilt2 and was shocked that I couldn't even change the color of the huge clock they put on the home screen whereas with the Solstice you could change most of it. Anyway thanks for your time
to be honest with you i would flash a custom rom nerv666999. i tried the dusk them with my tilt2 on the stock rom and it wasn't that great. i flashed to one of twopumpchump's roms from this post, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=576361im using the TPC PRO Series v4 Standard with HTC 3G DIALER(manila 2.1 only) and i love it. after flash i have 248mb of storage, 104mb of program memory and only uses like 50% of the memory at the home tab with manila running. also this rom is sense 2.1 manila not touchflow 3d. has the weather on the clock. the dusk theme works great with it and the 3g dusk dialer works just fine. trust me, you'll never use all of that att crap they fill the phone up with
Maybe I will take the plunge and do it, but shouldn't I use the HardSPL first prior to flashing the new ROM? It just seems hard to take any directions verbatim with so many variations of unit. Might be same hardware, but running different software. It's one of the things I hated about the Tilt 2 when I first bought it. Too many cooks in the kitchen. Between HTC, Microsoft and ATT it is all just too many competing interests. Thanks for the input I will check it out. One question though, if you were going to flash your ROM why not do it with 2.5 or something more than the 2.1?

htc touch dual neon 300

ok so I been reading. mastered my pure but I recently got a touch dual neon 300. it came with spl-1.00.01pro on boot menu. I cant seem to flash it no matter what I do. I cant pt newer hard spl on. I know this is an older file on boot on this. no matter how I try and flash I get errors about the updater.
can I do anything to flash this? would like 2 things. 6.5 for starters
secondly a real onscreen keyboard. not the 16 or 20. I dont care if I kill the slider function.
would like to reflash and play but after 3 days I seem to be stuck.
will hard spl 122 nike work on this unit? if so how can I get there? been trying 3 days now with no success.
ty in advance any pointers would be nice. not looking for spoons here
ah got it. also found stock rom to go back to with the right radio etc
just in case anyone was wondering, found it all here on the forum from this post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=583725
Now I have another quest
that 20 key keyboard is annoying so is the xt9 default but I can live with that. I have an htc pure and have really gotten use to the touch keyboard layout.
On the touch dual (neon 300) I could care less if the hardware keyboard works. If I could run a similar keyboard to the pure's setup but in landscape mode on the touch dual for me it would be a vast improvement.
I started looking at ezinput http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=542117
running the rom mentioned above wm 6.5 cooked for the touch dual. I have read a few people lost boot in severe cases trying ezinput. I am not questioning ezinput when I bring that up, just dont want to try the wrong version and or not know if I run a high risk or crashing my device beyond boot. any opinions?
I do have registry backups and all the tools to flash the stock rom back on and the 6.5 rom mentioned about.
