Do the themes used for WM5 work on WM6?
I love the black theme on my WM5......

Yeah, I got a dark gray theme for WM5 and I'd love to have one like it.
I'd love to have a dark gray version of the default WM6 theme with nothing else changed. The phonepad skin I'd love to keep since it's already the color I need it.
Can anyone show us the way?
Any .tsk theme will work on WM6 as far i know...
I've got some dating back to my WM2003SE device, and they're all running fine under WM6 with the nice see-through-glass look added to the top and bottom bars (assuming the right themebasecolor) ...

Black Theme
I've been using a black today screen and a black dialer for a while, and the attached are my favorite set.
To use the ClassicBlack Today Screen, CHANGE THE EXTENSION from .doc to .tsk and then drop it in My Documents. Then you can select it from Settings/Today.
The ZPV dialer includes a Video Call button.
It all works great with both of the latest WM6 ROMs.

Did you try the one I posted above? It's jet-black here.
You may need to reboot after installation.
yes i tried.... that's the black i wanna...but i'm searching it with wm6 style bars
After upgrading to WM06 is it possible to remove the blackish today screen to and to revert to standard blueish or greenish today screen?
I am using this WM6 edition: ARTEMIS_Black_Blue_v2

I don't have B&B on my phone, but I would assume that it, like all other ROMs have a theme manager in the today settings. If not, it is questionable why this of all features would be omitted from this release.
that's the case: under today there is no choice! There is only
Select a theme > Windows Default.
No other choices
And "windows default" is this very disturbing black background, which makes reading the device difficult
How to download additional themes, preferably the original standard blue or green Windows Mobile 6.0 theme?

Changing Menu Text Color
delete the folowing reg key to return to orginal Textcolor on Start Menu
Path: HKLM\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu
DWORD name: ManiliaCustomText
to change to any other color, edit the hex value of ManilaCustomText (if not exist then create)
FFFFFF -> black
000000 -> white

Weird Font on Touch Pro
DiamondTweak is what you need to download.
Section 17 of the Program.
17.7 Cleartype in Landscape Mode - Disabled
This fixed all my white font and weird font problems...I am on a Touch Pro though, but it may help you too.
Grey Taskbar
Go to start -> Settings -> Today and select the "Htc black" .tsk
(if it is already selected, choose an other first [e.g.Windows-standard] and switch then back)
Note: Because I still do NOT own a Diamond PRO myself, supporting this Device isn't easy...
the background is much better, but its going to be tough getting rid of my sprint theme.

I installed it over my T-Mobile (horrific Pink theme) MDA Vario IV and looks good. Exept for the landscape screen when the keyboard is slided open. Then the orginal icons are not there at all. Perhaps something for the next update. Thanks in advance.
I noticed the same thing on my Voda branded TP. But the black theme looks absolutely brilliant. I am not going back to the original red ever.
I'm trying to modify my theme on the new 1.93 Rom from the US 3G version Diamond... I'm using Total Commander to try to modify the read only permission sets of the Manilla files so I can write over them. However it doesn't seem to be working. Are there other programs available? Trying to update to use NisseDILLIGAF background
you have to disable Touch Flo first, then just copy the manila file to windows using total commander

I've attached a the HTC Black.tsk, just unzip, copy it to windows and try to activate it in Today...

Seemed all I had to do was select a different theme, then reselect the htc theme......BINGO.... phone looks fantastic. I am now going to see what other things I am incapable of doing. I know that I will have further questions, and that I am a bit of a techno-cretin, but I hope you guys will continue to help. This is a great forum by the way, very helpful indeed.

Now I have the TF3D Theme, but I didn't found the original Diamond Theme, with this black and green.

I messed up my Diamond WinMo theme with UI Tweaker..
I tried changing some colors, and then decided to reset it using the reset function.
Sadly it resetted it back to the default WinMo colors without the slick Black and Green..
Anyone know how i can set it back to the HTC Diamond colors?
Having recently installed XBmod Manila Rhodium VGA Port (here) i was annoyed that my comm manager skin was still the stock O2 blue skin
I search for ages to try and find someone how had made a black one, the closest i came was this which isnt black and this which had render issues and had the white left buttons, so it might not be perfect but i made one.
If anyone has any suggestions or the original Manila Rhodium VGA background on its own please send it and your suggestions over and i will see what i can do.
Also ive design this so it will just replace your existing skin and not change the existing options on your comm manager page like add the 3g button if you dont already have it.
PS ignore the background looking so crap in the screen shot, this is largely because of soti pocket controllers preview mode being a lower colour base.
