use WMWifiRouter or similar software, it works with almost any device!

Hi all,
I live in a country where GPRS is very expensive to live with, however I have a DSL connection at home, and I would like to have a program that enables my wizard to connect to the internet via my PC DSL connection, that is, the wizard connects through BT to my PC, and I will browse the internet (in my wizard) using the DSL connection on my PC.
this will allow me to be around the house while surfing the intenet via a DSL connection.
could you tell me please if there is a program to do so? does Wireless modem utility enable this? I strongly prefer freeware cause I dont have a credit card (I dont have money also!! )

It does it out of the box. Plug in your USB cable and it will start ActiveSync and your Wizard will share the PC's net connection. You can also do it via Wi-Fi. I have a wireless router at home, and I can sit in the living room and browse the net at broadband speeds on my phone - neat!

If you are connected PPC to PC you always have possibility to have internet connection on PPC by wired connection USB, by Bluetooth or WiFi( with some tricks or new AS 4.2)
Your PPC will show the connection to your PC's DSL connection in the network status window if you tap on the signal strength indicator.

I don't think you can ActiveSync over wi-fi. You can browse the net via your wi-fi router though.

On e thing to do is:
Turn OFF the advanced USB setting
Start--Settings--Connection tab--USB to PC icon
But this may not be enough. There is/are threads that mention this you may need to hunt for it/them.

also depends on where you are trying to use the internet at?!? When i am at work i have to go into the connections and select Work Network as my company uses a proxy, etc.. when i am at home i have to change the connection to My Isp

what sort of encription do you have on your wireless router ?
i'm currently using WM6 on my SPV C500 and i just came across an option called Internet Sharing.
When i click it, something like this appears:
Status:
Disconnected
PC Connection:
USB
Network Connection:
<none>
I want to know if this means that i can use my pc's internet connection to connect to the internet on my SPV too...
Please, if anybody knows something related to this feature, let me know...
Active sync will allow you to share the internet connection to your phone, Internet sharing on your phone is used to allow you to connect your PC to the internet through your phone...

Can anyone please tell me how i can make my Phone connect(any softwares or settings) to my PC so that i can use its gprs connection to connect to the internet.
As soon as i connect my PC Via Microsoft ActiveSync the gprs connection on phone terminates and a conection Pocket_pc to PC is established.
please suggest me something, i am new to this mobile.

hmm there is but i think you can find it i the xda2 forum
he means the other way around, using your phones gprs connection to have an internet connection on the pc.
