Hi There,
I have posted similar question here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=451981

my HTC connects to modem within seconds, then when it is connected is not receiving any data

Anyone please??!!
I have checked all setings, and i stuck with no ideas, i will add that on WM6.1 works all ok

Have you set up "Best Performance" at [Power Mode tab] in WI-FI advanced settings?
If not... do it! Should help.

Looks like you will have to flash a radio rom too.
Look in the HD2 rom development section. The radio roms thread should be stickied near the top of trhe first page.

Official rom =No wifi BT or 3g why?

Can anyone help me here in that every time i flash an official rom i find i have no wifi or 3g. Wifi is greyed out and 3g option isnt even there. I can turn bluetooth on but cannot find it anywhere in the settings to set up or connect to something?
If i flash offcial O2 rom or Miri's everything comes back as it should be?
Thanks

I had the same problem after cracking my o2 hd2 and flashing with the official 1.66 ROM. Just got to Settings/All Settings/Connections/Connection Setup and choose the UK/O2 and 3G should come back....to be honest I am not sure about the WIFI part, as I never experienced that.
UPDATE: I tried flashing to Miri's v2.0 rom and got bt & 3g back but still no wifi(greyed out), then flashed back to 1.5 and all is well now. Very strange?
A point to remember is that wifi will be greyed out when the phone is connected to the PC.
Thanks for that i may have not noticed it so will probably try updating again.

Omia II Data Connection Problem

I would be grateful for any advice on how this problem could be solved.
I have an Omnia II running winmo 6.5 Pro with the following ROM versions:
PDA: I8000NXXJA5
CSC: I8000XS0JA2
Phone: I8000DXJA1
When I connect through 3G or GPRS to my provider only the email application can retrieve data using the connection. Other applications like the browser (Opera 10) or Spb Traveller, Spb Weather or Google Maps are not able to retrieve data through this connection.
This problem does not happen however when I connect through wifi. With wifi all programs can retrieve data.
Please help by letting me know what you think the problem might be.
Thanks a lot.

I have a similar problem, but only Opera works, nothing else. And using wifi won't work. Any help would be really appreciated.
Edit: Solved, I just forget to set the clock after flashing. Silly me.
dear sakisd,
many thanks for replying to my post.
please let me know which rom version you used for flashing so that I also flash with it to solve my problem.
thanks and regards,
cagapiou
Sorry for the late respond, I didn't noticed your post. I don't recall which ROM I used, I will check and tell you shortly.
Edit: Here. PDA: B7610NXXIL2, CSC: B760NVGRIL1 and PHONE: B7610BUIK1. I only flashed the PDA part, but as you can see I have an Omnia Pro, not an Omnia II. For reference if you need it, I flashed using daskalo's Full ROM build 21907, it should be easy to find it, but it will be for Omnia Pro :/
dear sakisd,
many thanks once more for your reply and the details on flashing your Omnia pro.
I also flashed my Omnia II however my problem has not been solved yet. Although I used the newest rom version my problem continues.
Please let me know what you mean by setting the clock after flashing, which apparently solved your problem.
Thanks again for your help, which I really appreciate as i am getting desperate with my Omnia!
regards,
cagapiou
After flashing, my phone's clock/date was about 2 years before today, so certificates needed for some websites/services weren't valid. So after setting the clock correctly everything works ok. But I am pretty sure you already did this, so in meanwhile I will search around for a solution.
this used to happen to be all the time, if you only flashed PDA then go into the samsung settings and network settings click restore connection that should fix everything.
yes please, i also cannot browse with my wifi connection at home as well ?

Problem with data connection on different build

Hello every body,
I have try this week to install differents builds on my hd2 and i have problem with data connection.
I have try shubcraft rom, darkstone V2 and mattc last build and each time i have the same problem
Using the ppp version: the 3G icon appear but don't obtain any connnection. The arrows aren't moving at all.
Using the Rmnet version: no icon, no connection.
I was (and still) using shubcraft 1.4a (I think), no problem with internet. The bug appear with newer version.
As of WM I'm using ChuckyDroidROM and Radio 2.10.50.26.
I'm sorry to post a thread for this subject but I m searching for about 2 hours on forum and the only thing i have found it's other post of people encountring the same problem without any help.
Thank in advance
Ok... I wasn't searching in the good forum... I haven't seen this one
Thanks to the modo who moved my thread !
Anyway, i have found the solution:
Message form sylau 90 in an other thread:
Firstly, what I suggest is go to setting> WIRELESS&NETWORKS > MOBILE NETWORKS > then, check whether the DATA ENABLED already tick or not(if not, just tick it)...
Second,in case the first step not working even after you ticked it...then now you go back to the MOBILE NETWORKS again...choose ACCESS POINT NAMES...and then make sure you choose the correct access point(which must be the same name with the one when you using WINMO)...
Hope these help...Cheers...

I am having the same issue with DFT stock rom.
Possible solution for me was to change the security from wpa2+aes to wpa+tkip;
le : a moderator should move this thread to another section.
i had this problem too but i reset my router, changed the encryption to open and it worked. Then changed back to wpa2 aes and it`s still working
Did you check if your mac adress had changed ??
Look here, it might certainly help you...
