hi guys in my xperia x1 all my incoming calls come as unknown number<private> , First i thought the person on the other side has set their phone setting to hide their number , but all the calls i got so far are as that, so i use my mates phone<Set the setting in his phone to show his number to others> but still the calls i get are coming as unknown , help me out please.
Did you flash your X1 to a custom ROM?

just wondered if anyone can help,i have had a problem for a while which i have put up with,but now its getting to much,whilst on a call using my hbh 35 bluetooth headset,if i get another incomming call which i ignore and it goes to my voicebox,after a while 901 calls and i get disconnected from my current call i can still see the call maintained but cannot retrieve it,any ideas?

I have a Qtek 9090 and used a lot the 2020, but both have a little problem. They don't notify when an incoming call has been diverted from another phone number.
So I can't know if the incoming call is for my cell number or for the number that has been diverted to my phone.
I often divert the office phone to my private cell phone and it would be nice to know if the incoming call is private or business... :roll:
Normal phones like nokia and sony ericsson have this function...usually they show a little arrow near the phone number of the incoming call.
Does the Universal finally have it too???

Universal doesnt show diverted calls in some different than normal calls...
Doesnt matter whether its diverted call or the normal it rings and display the same.
Is there any other WM phone that can display this 'diverted call' status ??!!?? I am planning to get a TyTn-II (Kaiser) - will it support???

I doubt that, b'cuz i have used no. of Pocket PCs, innumerable ROMs.
This feature of notifyin' diverted calls is not there at all, in WMs.

Samsung i780 WM communicator has this feature if phone skin is enabled. It writes about incoming call being diverted above the caller number right in the baloon.
If phone skin is disabled - the notification for regular and diverted call is the same.
some time my o2 xda atom phone auto dissconnect phone call and sand busy tone for caller and when i see that no in call history it show unknow.No Number show in that history.....Can some body Help me............

I have a problem. 2 days ago i put android on my HD2 and it worked perfectly but now i can't recieve calls or make any calls. If i want to make a call he put auto. 011 in the phone number and than it says 'services is not available' but i can text the person but not call them. When i boot my windows mobile os i can make calls and recieve so thats strange. My radio version is 2.0.12 and i put the newest android os on my phone.

when you try to call someone , the device automatically adds 011 to the # ?
It's a setting you can enable/disable in the settings. I'm sorry I cant advise you ATM as
I'm not running android,I'm using WinMo, But i remember that it was " Add Country code or prefix to Numbers " or something like this, just disable it .
But others should be able to call you normally, as their phones doesn't add prefix.

Thanks for the response, but if other people call me they here the dailing note. But my phone isnt responding on that so i can't see that some1 is calling me. And if i boot in WinMo i can recieve calls and make calls (strange)?

*Maybe i found something but i can;t change it (AAAH) Maybe you guys can help. I found some call settings named:
Call barring settings Then i see All outgoing (Disabled) All incoming (Disabled) than i want to change it in enable but i requires a password :S

samething just happened to both me and my friend's hd2s on android,,he told me all he did was take out the battery and as soon as the phone boots,,make a call,,i tried it in mine nd chi ching,,works!
I have a Rogers xperia play (North American) which is unlocked with a generic ROM also rooted, Trying to use it overseas in Asia.
It is asking for a password for incoming calls, caller hears the number as busy. When I go enable incoming calls, again wants a pass code.
Any ideas?

Try being a little more patient than 12 minutes to bump your thread... (I don't know anything about your problem though, just advice)
update:
- I can do outgoing calls but I am unable to receive calls
- Phone is confirmed unlocked
- I have tried software reset, GSM only network mode etc.
Try using your original sim card to see if its still doing it
