Problem whit sound

Hi.
I have one problem ....
whit sound ..
it's desapear(only from speaker ) ...
Time ago I installed one cab for fix my sound ...
So yesterday I uninstall it ...
And sound desapeard (only from speaker) ...
I'cant find the cab to install it again ...
No sound when GSM rings... , no alarms ... no nothing ...
I have sound on my handsfree ... and whne i talk ...
PLSS help

Hard Reset your phone will also fix it. If you need to backup programs and file first: purchase Sprite Backup.

Check this thread, it has multiple ways to fix the sound, however i found the HTCVolume.cab worked best for me, it is in the third post of this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=456171

I hard reset it ... but steel no sound ...
@viperhead My problem is not whit low sound , my problem is whit NO sound ...

does your X1 think the headphones are connected? plug in on out your headphones a few times
this may not be it but sounds like my issue as i hard reset with no diference so tried this and it worked

hey guys can anyone help me to increase my ba volume .i installed the srs and it didnt work its says that there is now hd driver please give me advice i installed the sun drem the perfect rom the last one thanks for all

standard questions first:
are you absolutely certain, you have all the volume bars up?
is the volume on the handsfree ok?

I had the same issue recently. Check
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SoundCategories\Ring
The value of AttenuationCategory was set to 5. It should be set to 2. Now it’s back to it’s normal loud self.
Check the other SoundCategories and play with the AttenuationCategory setting.

thanks alot for you both but i didnt mean that the device have a problem in volume but i mea that how can i increase its volume with o program like srs wow hd just a program not an issue thanks for all.

My HD2 headset 's too silent

anyone has the same problem? and sometimes it's work sometimes not. i cant figure it out.
i know only 1 solution is holding the microphone straight to my mouth.
anyway, i juz test with other headset(not HD2's) and it's work...very loud
but i wanna know that problem's because of my phone hardware or headset.

actually i almost have the same problem
i bought my telephone form orange & the headset was working sso fine
but after i make the flash & change to cooked rom
the microphone didnt work at allllllllllllllll
go back to original.. again it were working soooooo fine

I have the 1.66 official rom and friends can no longer hear me with the headset plugged in. Where they could before on Oranges stock rom.

Side Volume Buttons Dont Work During Call

i got an unmodded 6.5 TMOuS hd2. i did some registry tweaks. and for some reason, while i'm on a call with the phone to my ear, i cant change the volume using the buttons on the side. how can we fix this?

Do both of the volume buttons work outwith the in-call problem, ie playing back music or listening to the FM radio?

hi, fred... it looks like i wasnt pressing the buttons hard enough.. my fault. but is there a way to make these buttons more sensitive to the touch?

Hy all ,
Here's the problem , during a call , if I press the up/down button for increasing/decraesing the volume ... my conversations just stops , well not ending it , just that I can't hear anyting + my phone just blocks itself .. and the only way to unblock it is to get out the battery and start it again . I must mention that the volume work good , but I want it to be louder ( got some issues with my hearing ... ) .
Note : I don't want to use headsets , and I don't want to use sperker mode , I just want to set my volume higher .
I'm using Artemis ROM v 65.0 Gen VI ...
If you need anymore information about my phone please reply ... also it will work if anyone of you can make a reply with a good addon / fix or .cab file .. or I donno .. something

Problem With earphone ...

Hi there i have problem with earphone, i have sound everywhere, but when i have to call to someone i cant hear nothing, when the other contact discard my call i hear beep signals in my earphone and thats all... i've been read all of the threads here about this and i cant find solution ... i read about the radio and change it from 1.13 to 1.14 and nothing happens ... i'm using Energy.BLACKSTONE.29022.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.Jul.04, i've been tried with official rom, other energy roms .. and nothing ... :S i was in service, they fix it, it works fine but when i change my rom, all stops .. soo its software problem... please help me !
