i have a question, i bought my husband a phone that looks exactly like the xperia but it has been debranded and has the iphone theme, well anyway he wants me to change the rom and thats fine iv flashed a few different phones but the thing is this the phone does not work with activesyc and i know i can flash through the micro sd card but iv followed the instructions to get to the bootloader screen but it does not work, is it possible that the phone just looks like the xperia, a knockoff and im stuck with the rom thats there or am i missing something, ok thanks

Did you install Hard-SPL before trying to flash?

i seriously doubt that you have had any experience modding/flashing phones, when you cannot tell the difference between a genuine and counterfeit phone, maybe if the models looked even remotely similar i would believe your story...
does it run windows mobile? curious
It's even "better" then Xperia if DE correct. Trip-band only but with DualSim and G-sensor!
Ah, they forgot to put in GPS...
A pity the original X1 lacks of G-sensor and DualSim with Standby. Would be as twice as expensive I believe.

That my dear fellows is roughly (and if possible) a working Matrix Reloaded Samsung something something something,,,, look for it in the second film,,, they asked Samsung to make a highteck phone that they could market with the film,,, since it fell through the only ones ever made were live dummys used in the movie... (if ya look arounf on fleabay hard enough you can spot them,, dummys in a collectors tin ^_^) from the looks of it someone found out the designs and started tinkering to make a real phone

In my opinion, if he really port CM7 to the MS2, he would have made a video! With Photoshop everyone can fake pictures, but to fake a video is really really hard...

Interface is definetly different..status bar, "touchwiz"....
And two homebuttons...maybe the one what we use as a home button isnt home button.

I would be quite interested in this if it was possible, my only downside is not being very technologically minded when it comes to phones. Still something to look into for me!

if the pinout and the size fits than in Android it should be possible.
I dont know about any connection standards in the "camera module buisness"
but they dont re-invent the hole thing every new phone model.
So there is a chance it could work.
Anyone knows the size of the camera modules and/or the pinout?

There is a kind of a rom named (EVERYTHING TO INSTALL ANDROID) (total length is 405 MB).This rom you can only flash via datacable and this rom is fast and have no problems. Also camera do as well. Very nice photo's and pictures and even better than original HTC HD2. Oh btw the rom's name is 'HTC DESIRE HD' from year 2011

as for the missing parts, i think they are a separate and come off from your old one!
i'm not sure but maybe you can approach the motorola service centre and ask them for it? that way you will get an original part if its from them!
+ no possibility of losing on the water proof-ness of our phone!

Ah ok yes maybe, but others sellers are selling those pieces (example : http://www.ebay.com/itm/White-Red-R...&ps=63&clkid=823210212937007667#ht_5027wt_905), so maybe they just forgot to add them on the photos..., anyway I sent a message to the seller with all my questions, I just hope that he will reply to me... :/
