I much prefer WM6.5 to 6.1 on my Diamond, but did like the Touch Flo 3D, is there a way to get it on WM6.5?
Also is it possible to change whats on the today screen with WM6.5, I have it set to 'Windows Default', but as soon as I select other options to be shown, device lock etc.... it reverts to the old WM6.1 classic today screen.

I recently discovered the world of flashing after getting my contract voided with Orange and I love the new wm 6.5 based roms. However, I find the new default text application to be a pain in the ass.
Apparently it's part of manilla so to get it to rotate I've had to remove manilla as the exception on gsen, which is annoying(I've tried half a dozen rotate apps, not just gsen).
Also, I don't like it's new layout, you can't see the message when the keyboard pops up and it does funny things to fingerkeyboard. Now I'd like to stay with 6.5 roms. So here's my qustion.
Is there a way to revert back to the 6.1 texting style or is there an application that can replace the 6.5 style that's just as intuitive?

Not sure what ROM your on now but the answers will probably come faster if you ask in that ROM thread
Other than that I know DUttys 6.5 R9 Rom had the older keyboard installed which I also liked

I tried, but had no replies. It's not the keyboard that's the pain in the ass, it's the fact that in the new text layout, the keyboard obsecures all the message when you bring it up in landscape.

The Manilla text I dont use, I use the standard Windows one, which is accessed by tapping "All Messages", when you are on the Messages tab in Manilla. The standard full qwerty and fingerkeyboard appears to work fine for me, both pushing the previous texts up the screen so I can see where I am typing and as much of the older messages as the screen allows. When the screen is landscape the keyboard takes up most of the room on the screen, but everything appears ok for me...

Ah, that's it! The standard windows one is the one I like. I'll just access it from that now. Thanks.
Is there a way to make that the default? So when you tap the message to reply it takes you to that one rather than the manilla one?
Not that I have seen... probably would be a change to one of the manilla files to get it to launch the message using the standard app, but I just always go to "All messages".
If anyone knows the answer, that would be helpful....

Doesn't look like 6.5 looks like 6.1 Rhodium to which if not using a Rhodium build can use Finger Suite
You may search for menu enhancement or finger suite
Can I add a button to dial a specific phone number? I am used to having a button that will auto-dial my audix at work and would love to have that on the new phone.
With the touchflow turned off, I dont see how to add it either, might be a difference between winmo 6.0 (treo 700wx) and winmo 6.5?
