an old Sim is working, but newer ones not
the message says that there is no sim

On my ZTE blade, When i put a sim card into the phone i get the message 'No Sim Detected'
So it does not know that a sim card has been inserted
The IMEI is clean and it has not been blocked
the sim is making perfect contact with the contacts
I have tried re-installing my Cyanogen Rom but no luck?
What could cause this and how can it be fixed,

I got a very strange problem.
When I put my sim inside my Galaxy s4 I get "No sim - please Insert sim" error.
When I put my sim in other devices - Everything works fine.
When I put other sim cards inside my Galaxy S4 - everything works fine.
My sim and my galaxy simply do not get along.
I tried to replace my sim - Didn't help.
I tried to flash my rom and modem - Didn't help.
What can i do?
Anyone has an idea how I can debug it?

i have note 3 sm-n9005.the problem is phone is showing no service .it was ok before but suddenly start showing no sevice.it shows sim feature but no signals.I installed new rom on to it but still the same problem persists.it is showing imei no. properly (checked through *#06#)Please help me to solve the problem thanks in advance

I used my Nano SIM in a adaptor and faced this.
Also few people who cut SIM cards have had this issue.
May be this can be a reason!

I think problem is intractable . It is a Samsung I9505 recognizing a sim and some not. I assumed it was the flex of the sim card , so buy him a new one giving the same result.
I 've just released by IMEI but that's not the problem. The phone will have 3 years old from Orange.
Where not directly detect and asks pin or anything just he says no sim inserted.
I have installed the latest free firmware PHE is SamMobile and nothing has changed.
Fixed network files and either Chimera .
Anyone have any idea that can happen?

Is your phone unlocked to use other sim cards than Organe ones?
Is the sim not recognized at all or are you getting the message that the sim card was removed?

No SIM card only emergency calls
Guys dearie...
Bought used G2. Condittion is nice like new.
The problem is only can use specific telco sim. If use other sim it will error pop up says ' simcard removed. Network unavailable until insert a valid simcard'...
The phone keep on rebooting with that error.
Only one spesific sim can use the phone properly.
Im using Malaysia's network.
Asked my telco they said they dont do that.
Eagerly want to use it with other sim.
Tried root and custom rom but its the same problem.
