if you use Audio Manager for music playback then Audio Booster works OK. Has a number of preset options as well as custom settings.
just found this tonight as well http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3583768#post3583768 works great with Windows Media Player

Is there any app that will boost the audio quality (for ringtone, music, movies etc)?
also I have another question, I tried the 'anyfolder ringtones' tweak, I did it correctly but somehow it still points out to windows/rings/ any ideas?
thanks
Not sure how you mean 'boost audio quality' because if you listen with headphones you find the audio quality of the wizard very good. If you want to play music with your wizard - there is a very good stereo docking station that does the trick. If you mean try to get a better sound out of the small stereo speakers - then a rom upgrade may help. I noticed an improvement and that why i have stayed with my current rom for now. Also you could try a graphic equalizer to help with the sound = i use the core pocket player . some hacks on the forum that claim to make the sound louder but not better i think!
As for the registry hack - a better solution i think is to place your rngtones in the storage card\my documents folder and they show up in the list of available ringtones
oh thanks for the reply, I appreciate that.
Yea I found that core media player has a built in g.equalizer which in my case doesn't work too well. The problem is the treble sometimes can be too high, or the bass wouldn't come out at all. I have the latest rom, or could it be the headphone? I use the one that comes with it.
About the registry hacking. It doesnt work for me. Yesterday I tried it for hours but it just doesn't work for me. I have to find the solution though cuz I don't want to put all the ringtones and wallpapers in the phone's memory.
Is there any app that can do it fast and easy for me?

HTH,
Sid
Dont want to install TF3D. But i would love to have that audio booster that comes with it and make it work with the media panel.
Any idea if there is one ?
Hi!
I installed SRS WOW HD, sounds great, but lost the possibility to adjust volume in windows media player and media panel.
Then installed HTC Volume Control and voila: Volume control works again in combination with SRS and teh mentioned applications ...
No idea if that applies to ohers as well, but worth a try ...
Greetings from Vienna,
Bax
How did you manage to install WOW SRS ???
THX !!!
yeh what versions of srs wow and htc did you install because I havent had any luck with either of them :S

This may be a problem with other media players but does anyone know if there is a way to configure the bluetooth stereo headset buttons to work with other media players?
I have recently bought a set of Motorola S9 BT headphones and want to use PocketTunes (or anything other than WMP) but I notice that the headphone next/previous track buttons only work with WMP.
Any ideas?
Thanks
I use PocketPlayer and they had to add a work-around specifically to get HTC devices working with BT buttons.
By default WMP intercepts all of these button presses so if PocketTunes hasn't implemented a similar work-around then you're out of luck for now.

Thanks,
I will point the PT guys towards the PP thread and see what they can come up with.
I will also try Pocketplayer and see what I that is like. Do you have any skins which you would recommend for PP then as I don't like the WMP one nor the default wvga skin.
Regards
No I've not found any other WVGA skins.
I used PP on my Loox 720 years ago and there were a couple of great VGA skins but no-one seems to be doing much PP skinning these days as far as I've seen.
PP was the best player back then IMO, and I tried pretty much all of them. I haven't re-tested since I got my HD but it still seems to be a very good and well-supported product.
Hello,
Tough the "enabled" mark is checked in the audio booster equalizer setup screen, I have to open/close the equalizer page each time I start listening mp3 through TF3D music player to have it working (via Menu > Audio Booster).
Is there a registry tweak or something to force it enabled ?
Thanks for you help.
rom in use? tf3d version? etc?
btw, i suggest (but this is NOT a solution) that you keep audio booster off forever. It sucks really.
I would always recommed Pocket Music player if you're a real music enthusiast. It has a built in equalizer with extra bass and lot of other functions that make music sound better on HTC phones.
Only drawback which may not bother much is it's high on CPU and battery usage/ I would say it's definitely worth it.
Sorry for the lack of information
I updated my signature with rom information
TF3D Version : 1.3.35350.1_1630.38
Btw, are there newer versions of TF3D ?
About Pocket Player, I planned to install it, but I'd like to use TF3D music sometimes (for battery matters mostly), so the Audio Booster is important to me (as I like much better the sound with it set to Rock)
thank you for your help
i know that in terms of android, port from Desire HD,The Native Eq in the music app didnt work,Just wonderd if were haveing that problem here before i decide to try out,Im a big music Lover,i need Eqs
there is no such thing as 'zune audio manager' as far as I am aware. have been using WP7 for a month now. you can download the HTC Equalizer program if you hack the HD2 correctly, this allows you to change sound balance on headphones only. the sound out of HD2 speaker is not great and cannot be improved upon yet, as far as I know.
