Shortcut to a midlet... possible?

Hi all,
Is it possible to create a shortcut to a midlet? I would like to create a shortcut with PHM Traylaunch but can't find the midlet file paths. Where are the midlets located? I plan to create one for Opera Mini and one for Google Maps. Thanks.

I would also like to know if there's a way to do this.
Just create a shortcut to jmm.exe in the \windows directory.
That brings up a screen with the installed midlets (see attached SS)
Cheers
hrb
or to specific midlets... (btw, this thread pops up when you do a search for 'midlet shortcut'):

Thanks...
Thanks a lot Hrb and Zeboxx. That link you put up zeboxx is exactly what I need. Shame on me. I should have found it by searching. I guess I used the wrong keywords. I appreciate the info.

Shortcuts on touch diamond?

Hey,
I have iGo8 installed on my touch diamond.. but just by moving it to my storage card(no installation).. But now it isn't viewable in my installed programs sections.. so there is no shortcut now..
Is there a way to make a shortcut, or make it look like the software is installed?
tia
Go to the exe in the iGo8 directory and tap and hold on it>copy. Navigate to windows>start menu>program files>paste shortcut there.
works like a treat..
thanks!
only thing now is that.. iGo doesn't seem to save my configurations.. any ideas on that one?
i do exit by shutting it down..

Yeah you can create one with registry editors or you can manually create one like this.....
create a new doc and type the directory
\storage card\program files\{{{program.exe}}}\
or whatever then count the characters and put tht number in the beggining folled by a pound sign and put parinthacies around the directory..... should look something like this....
46#"\storage card\program files\{{{program.exe}}}\"
save as a .txt file
{{{program name}}}.txt
then rename the .txt as .lnk
lemme no if need more help than that

Uninstaling programs

Hi. I`d like to ask. Do anybody know is any program for xperia to uninstall some programs like "vodafone live!" etc. from my programs but the are not in settings>system>remove programs? Is it any way to remove them?
Vodafone Live is nothing more than a weblink in your Programs foldered. If you go to \windows\start menu\programs you should be able to delete the file.
Thanks a lot. i did`t know that.

Name under Program in Program tab

Hello!
Is there any standalone cab or reg fix so you can have the name of the program under the icon in the Program tab?
EDIT: and when you go into Program from the start menu, can you move the icons in there to a specific map so you can get the program view a little more organized?
You can move all the programs around and rename the files by using total commander or resco file explorer.
I have done this to organise the folder into many sub-folders.
Thank you Dave!
Now for the name under program tabs, couple of cooked roms that have the feature in them so there should be a easy way like a cab or a reg-hack

Sorry - I meant the program view in the START menu not the TAB (you had both).
I don't now use the program TAB in TF3D as I have all the programs organised in sub-folders under windows\programs and windows\office mobile.
I use that with quick menu and it's so much faster for my many apps (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3117017&highlight=secondtoday#post3117017 - it's grown since then !!)

Yeah, I realized that you mean't the ones that you access by the start menu and got it fixed, just need the solution for my main issue. Will try yours though, but if anyone know how to fix the names please tell anyway!
Dutty's ROM does that

Yeah I know, installed it right away when it came but there were a few things on there that didn't suited me (big props to duffy anyway) so I would really like to have a solution that doesn't require a whole rom.

Hi, Noob

hey dare fellas
I'm pretty fresh to this whole tweakin thing so please be kind
is there anyway to remove the crapware like NFL, rss feeds, mp3 trimmer, etc from my HTC Snap?
or at least remove the icons from the start menu?
I've only installed Oxios Memory and Resco Explorer on the phone as of now. Can the Resco utility help me?
another rom
If you want you can try a new rom, like the one ookba as cooked.
P.s. Maybe next time you can try to use a different title because "Hi, Noob" doesn't tell us anything about you problem.
You should be able to use Resco to at least delete the icons from \Windows\Start Menu. It probably isn't worth it to start deleting the actual binaries.
