Is there a way to make a RSS ticker on the front of the manilla homescreen?
i saw this once on a sony ericsson mobile, and WAUW its awesome.

RSS scroller / ticker on Dutty
I think I saw this on a Dutty ROM for the HD2 once.
Don't have Dutty anymore but that should be a good place to start
(I would love to have a RSS ticker in Cookie Hometab and SMS / Twitter updates overlaid on the homescreen, iPhone style)

Hey guys, browsing these forums and using all your guys' great work I finally have my perfect today screen. The YouTube video can be found here, and here is what I am using:
I use ultimate launch, and the tabs are as follows:
1st: Rltoday, GM Retro Clock, Phone Alarm.
2nd: Pocket Breeze
3rd: Ultimate lLunch launcher
4th: WeatherPanel
the up gesture on the first tab is HTC Action Screen
contacts is Pocket CM with HTC theme.
Thanks again for all your guys' great work and let me know what you guys think of my theme.

Hi how did you do to integrate the GM Retro Clock in the Ultimate Launcher?
I couldn't find the .exe...

I started with rltoday, but it is too sloooow. Try Wisbar advanced desktop latest beta. Does just about everything that you can do with rltoday without having to program it ( by using mortscript and adding stuff to the registry). I think it puts all the other today screen customizers to shame.
Nice looking setup you got there! How did you get the date on the first tab? Mine doesn't show it available, or is it a new feat of Retro?
I am guessing you combined tab's to get the GM retro clock and the allrock v4 skin to show up on one screen. But I can't seem to get it work, only one of the plug-in's work they never show up together. How did you get them both to show up on the same screen. Also, there looks like on the same tab, you have a digital clock above the GM Retro clock as well, what is that and how can I add it? Thank you! ^_^
Is there any apps that work as an Rss Ticker for the homescreen? would be sweet to see all the news ticking by on a scroll directly from the home screen. I saw this on a newer model Sony Ericsson phone, and i got Soooo jaloux.
Is there any apps that do this? tweaks? anything?
Or could some of you programming wizards do an app like this? :=)

Id love an app that gave me all my favorite RSS feed news as a tickertape from the frontscreen.. is this done? or can some hard working, wonderfull developer look into making us an app like this

prss reader can be made to cycle through feeds on your home screen( non tf3d)
Anyone know of an RSS tab for touchflo, as yet have been unable to find a decent finger friendly reader that fits in with the look! Is anyone working on such a mod?
I believe you cant add custom tabs...

even a facebook tab would be better than twitter

Do you mean touchflo or sense?
I believe Touchflo was the precursor to Sense, so wondering why you'd be running it on a HD2.

What I am looking for:
In Manila/Sense 2.5 we have a Calender bar in Home screen that takes us to Calender TAB. Is that possible to show the upcoming "n number of" agenda/event from the calender in the place, similar way how we have after we install CHT?
I know that is possible as CHT does that by modifying some Manila files. Also the CHT is really great App by itself and I like that.
But I wanted to have this calender event shown on home in my ROM without CHT . Can any one help me here on this?
May be some one from CHT team can help?
Also I think Manila 2.1 this feature was there, but It was showing only ONE entry.
