Pocket Navigator 7 Cyprus

it's the new version of the pocket navigator. u can download it and then extract it in a new folder on your desktop. copy the folder (contains 2 subfolders and a cab) on your ppc. then ran the cab. only 2 languages (greek and english).
this prog works on the Kaiser and the Touch Cruise. I had tried the previous version on the P3600 and worked fine, so I suppose the newer version would still work.
could someone check and confirm?

it works with Kaiser,but i am looking 4 english sound,and town names.is it exist ?

I have PN6 which can't find the GPS on my Kaiser, and I also have PN7 which finds the GPS but only has greek placenames. I have got PN7 to work with the PN6 map so the placenames are in English, but the keyboard is still in Greek.
Does anyone have a version of PN7 with an English Keyboard?

Moe, would you please let me know in case you managed to tackle what you were facing?? i have just faced the same with my TP2 and cannot access the start menu as well to disable the arabic support to uninstall even!!

I have another issue, I'm using the mobidiv arabic support for windows mobile 6.5 donsalari rom 3.0 and the arabic support is perfect, except I cannot get the dictionary to work, when I run the mobidiv dictionary it gives the error:

Please is there a solution, I know the dictionary can work under 6.5 as it ran perfectly on the diamond jewel rom from ce4arab, but the rom itself was buggy and had alot I didn't like.
Please is there any working arabic-english dictionary that anyone can share?

update: the dictionary cab I have will only work with the jewel rom since it is licensed to that rom based mobidiv, anyone have an unlicensed version of the arabic-english dictionary or its equal??

Facing some bugs
Dear Friends,
I have installed MobiDiv Arabic Support Build 417 tom HTC Toch HD WM 6.1 Stock Rom.
It works fine but only bug i have faced is in start menu te name file explorer is chaged to Calculator and Camera is chaged to Search, and i could not found the file explorer in Programs folder.
Before it was in Programs, and in settings the device information name is chaged to power.
Please any one can help me to solve these problems(bug fixes)

mmmm.... I'm at work and mediafire here is blocked by proxy .... I'll try it at home.... but a MUI is a CAB you can install on the already flashed phone? Or is a kind of "plugin" to be used in the cooking process?

it need to be cooked, making a cab may work partially but it would be a difficult task

you will need a kitchen, you can use my kitchen but you will need to replace the OEM folder from ITA HP ROM (possibly merge with files from WWE ROM if ITA does not available with latest fixes), replace all 0409 in SYS with the corresponding ITA MUIs

I'm just playing with your kitchen and italian MUI (and I'm now recovering my phone from a brick ;-) ) .... should I replace the 409 files with ITA ones and keep the original name (i.e.: about_0409.htm should be changed to about_0410.htm or it mantains its name?)

you are really replacing the 0409 folders with 0XXX folder (XXX is ITA folder). Also in addition to replacing OEM with 91x you also have to change the TEMPLATE.ROM to a 91x ROM in ROM folder(just rename the desired 91x flash.dio you want to use to TEMPLATE.ROM, the TEMPLATE.ROM will decide what xip your ROM will have) file

Hi, I'm a new user. Just bought my phone but in Germnay and it's XDA from O2 operator. It has only german language! The dude from the shop said that I can change the language only with a software change. Where can I find an english version? How to install it?

If you want to change only the language of Manila, thats the solution.
If you need your whole phone in english, then you should
1) Flash HardSPL (special software that allows you to put any language and any version of Windows Mobile on your phone)
2a) Check at WIKI Shipped ROMs for an english version that matches your region.
or
2b) Select from one of the Cooked ROMs with more speed, more stability.

I'm not sure but in czech release of topaz you can change language version. After hard reset there is menu for selecting english version or for installing localization. Topaz install czech environs by first use after hard reset from two cab files.

Ok, so you need your phone complete changed from German language to English language.
First step:
You need to enable your phone to accept WM with a different language. Follow the instructions of this post.
Second step:
As you are complete new to WM and this type of phone, I propose that you change to an official HTC WM in English. The most actual official WM for the Diamond2 is Version 1.39.405.3.
You just start the exe file and it will upgrade your phone to an English version.
But this upgrade will only work if you successfully installed the HardSPL from step 1.

I use PHM registry editor. Just open it and in string HKEY_CURRENT_USER\MUI\CurLang is hexadecimal key with value for german 0407, so change it to 0409 for english (US english). It will change TF3D language only.
After hard reset at first turning on there you should have options for english or installing german localization. If you have got original german ROM ( without local cabs) there is one way only. You have to flash new ROM with WWE.

OK. Well I do it but on step 7 it came a fatal error message : "please make sure the device is properly synced; Please retry after syncing the device (via Activesync or Windows mobile Device center)" and there is only "OK" as an option to proceed. But the phone is connected in WM device center.

Which one did you download and try?
Topaz-HardSPL_V3_01R2.zip
Topaz-HardSPL_V3_01R2__NC.zip
SSPL-Manual-TopazV3_05.zip
Option 1 and 2 run from your PC
Option 3 you have to copy the SSPL-Manual-TopazV3_05.exe to your phone and start it there.
I do not know Windows Vista, (or Window 7, not sure what you use). One of the 3 options should work.

Well I use Vista Ultimate. I tried option 1 and 2 but the result was the same - a fatal error message.
Step 3 - when I start it on the phone, the phone freezes and nothing happens.

Check the WIKI page. There is a ROM for Eastern Europe. Its listed under WWE ROM's, but has the same number: RUU_Topaz_HTC_WWE_EastEurope_1.39.479.2_Radio_Signed_Topaz_61.20t.25.10_3.43.25.19_Ship.exe

Forget my last message, it was too late yesterday. of course you do not want to flash the same english ROM again.
Try to find someone with a Topaz which is still in Romanian language. Dump the ROM, (I can support) and rebuild the ROM for reflashing (I can support).

I have extracted all package but this is in english and don't work whit 040C, I have copy the 040C folder in all manila update but I don't the 040C folder of the other ext paxkage for manila

I have use the older langage pack... but in the tab office of manila the onglet "install communicator mobile" can crash manila...
