When you use the YouTube app from HTC, will there be random streaks of white lines or black blocks appearing when you view videos on High Quality mode?
Anyone else?
For myself I have no problems when running in HQ
same here...
it is really annoying

Does anyone know how to get rid of the related video's that come up whilst trying to watch a Facebook video in portrait?
They take up at least a quarter of the screen making the video small, it's not really possible to watch a portrait video in landscape.
I can't find any setting for it in the app settings itself, unless I've missed something. I can't even full screen the video.
Someone must have an idea?
Only Audio is playing in the YouTube app. No video is displaying except the black screen in the [ROM][UNOFFICIAL][7.1.2_R4][23/04/2017] RESURRUCCION . Some please fix that.
use apps like vidmate or snaptube for time being
Hi,
I have been encountering this issue that my Facebook app always shows the NBA video in 1:1 ratio, which both sides of the screen were cut. Does anyone know what happened?
Thank you in advance.
Right of the bat, I'm using an S8+ and so far I didn't had any issues with (true) fullscreen video Playback with for example YouTube (Youtube Advanced enabled Stretching to Fullscreen) or FireFox etc...
True fullscreen = No Blackbars. What's the point of watching a Video on a bigger screen like the S8+ when literally the space you paid more money for is unused/filled with black bars..... Yea good job.
Now here's the issue, Google Play Movies/Films doesn't have that simple & vital option. Leaving me with disgusting black bars that make the experience unacceptable.
Is there ANY way to make the video stretch to the screen just as YouTube Advanced stretches the video to the screen size?
So all has been good after the update to android 10. No major issues. However, there is some issue with watching videos on fullscreen on the youtube website, NOT the app. (tested on firefox and chrome)
The bottom part of the video clips/ fall through. I have attached screenshots showing the same.
Anyone else facing the same issue? Solutions?
First image shows normal/vertical orientation. Second one (with the clipping) is full screen/landscape.
