Hi Darek:
Thanks for such a wonderful program. I am currently using mine on iPAQ6315. I have a couple of request if you don't mine.
1. Can you have an option to minimize everything to either one line or two lines with scrolling?
2. Can you also have the option to have cleartype font and font selection?
3. Option to show signal without the bar
4. Dial out from today screen clicking the missing call number.
I hope I am not asking too much.
Thanks.
LawofA
You can change font size in options dialog
Start\settings\today\items, select dktoday and press options.
To dial out simple tap on red phone icon, when number is displayed.
1. - maybe in the future
3.- no
Regards,
Darek
A new version (1.79) is out but I dont know anything about fixes or new features because I dont read polish.

How to change Fonts on Touch Blackstone WM 6.5?
The font size in settings > screen ONLY affect the menu font size!
I have a couple of dictionaries installed: when I type a word, the size is OK, but the next dialog, with the results are shown in gigantic font which is too big and does not fit into any windows, resulting that I can barely chech the word meaning.
I have this problem with
SlovoEd dictionary
Lingosoft
While I have no problem (of gigantic font size) in
- SMS dialog
- email windows
- Word
- Excel
- Notes
Please help!
Saulo
I have tried without success to tweak with Advance Config (for blackstone) and WVGA Tewak
no success
Please help
after a search within this site, I came across this:
"Use Advanced Config and change the Popup menu font size under User Interface"
yes, that is OK, but ONLY for pop up menu font size...AdvConfig does NOT give you other options to modify the font size of programs like dictionaries.
The dictionaries themselves (Slovoed and Lingvosoft) do not have an internal menu to select and modify font size....unfortunately
Thanks and waiting for suggestions
Saulo
u can try this link app
Is there any way to make the font size smaller in email?
When I type a message, I'm lucky if I can get 3 or 4 words to a line as the font is huge!
you can change the minimum text size in the settings tab on your device try that.

Its only for received emails...
Go to the settings tab, select Menu, All Settings, System, Screen and the Text Size tab. Changing the text size with the slider there affects input and output for emails.
Edit: Actually, I've just checked and they're the same thing. If that doesn't work, you may have a problem that can't be fixed with regular UI settings.
Surely there must be a registry hack or something for this?
I can't understand why they need the font to be so big.
i heard pinch to zoom works with text. try zooming out

You heard wrong! Afraid it doesn't work
Its really odd - if I reply to a message, the old message below what I'm typing is a normal sized font - but anything I type is JUMBO!
Similar situation in SMS too - the old messages are a decent size, but what I type is huge!
I also think that font in some apps is way too big. For instance in Pocket Outlook, Calendar etc., even in Opera Mobile. I have all settings set to smallest font but it is still too big. Is there a way how to make it smaller - may be some settings in registry? It is useless to have such a big screen but to see the same number of letters as on much smaller screen.
First off, y'all need to CHILL!!
Describe your problem in more detail:
1. Has the font always been *JUMBO* sized (i.e. since you ever first got it) ?
2. Did you use any tool to change your device's font size?
* Note: there are various utilities out there that can be used to change the system font properties to ANYthing you want. Some programs you might've installed change system font properties as part of their operation.... so, backtrack, and if necessary use Total Commander to find "\windows\*.ttf" then delete all files found, then restart your phone; this will restore fonts to their original states.
Cheers
In my case, this simple setting works. Open an email message, go to menu in lower left, view, text size. I use the smallest font size, which is readable and I get 24 lines of text on screen.
Yes, settings as well as multi touch zoom are working for me too but I still would like to have much smaller font. The question is if there is a way how to enable smaller fonts with registry settings or tweak app?
Easy:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox]
"RichEditHostFontSize"="10"
You can shrink the font for replying down to 2 nano meter.
I would like to shrink the font for reading, but the registry doesn't seem to remember the setting after a softreset.
I am trying here: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox] & [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings]
Maybe anyone has an idea here...
Hi Guys
I'm having a little trouble with my search results for finding how to change the font size of the Start Menu task bar in Windows 6.5 so it fits the whole word rather than part of the word followed by dots:
[Start] [Contacts] [Cam...]
Can anyone give me hints as to what search words to use to find this? I know theres a thread/topic somewhere in XDA that details how to change the font size for the whole words to show (which reduces the font to a point where the whole word can display). Example:
[Start] [Contacts] [Camera]
Any suggestions?
Thanks awfully

Soft key fonts! /facepalm
Thank you heaps!
I've noticed that Cleartype doesn't seem to be enabled in some of the Mini applications, such as the Outlook message list. It's very noticable in a relatively low resolution device like this, if you compare for example Resco Explorer with and without Cleartype enabled. It used to be possible to universally enable it in Settings, but this doesn't seem to be there any more. Anyone any ideas on how to re-enable it?

jmatejka thank you
A more detailed working solution to enable cleartype in mini is the following:
With a registry editor go to:
HKLM -> System -> GDI
new key:ClearType, then new DWORD in the key named ClearType, Dword data=1.
Reboot your device, done. Works fine on my mini
Thanks for this. The fonts still look really dreadful to me in eg. the Outlook message list, compared to devices with the same resolution - the 1-pixel wide letters just lack clarity. They seem to be using the application's Medium font, whereas if you view a message and change the font size up to Larger it's far clearer; using this size in the list would look much better. Maybe there's a hack to change the list font size?

It's a bit kludgy because I haven't installed a screengrabber (and I'm not sure there is a HVGA-compatible one available) but in the attached images, the first shows the message list, the second and third show the text inside the email viewer at Larger and Medium font sizes. Larger is far clearer, and uses up a negligible amount of extra space. It seems to me that the list view would look much better using the Larger font.
Edit: well I never, there's a setting in Manila Settings - Font to fix this! Couldn't find it in the standard WM settings though.
Sorry for my english. I was really interested HD mini but when i saw quality of fonts i could not belive that this is possible in new device for this price. Fonts in file explorer looks much worse then in my polaris. I was search for WM resolution supported and i think that the answer for this problem is simply. WM 6.5 does not support Hvga resolution, so it does not run in its native resolution. It is the same when you set for example resolution 800x600 on the monitor with native resolution 1024x768 - fonts look blurred not sharp. Only manila is made for HVGA so the main interface looks grate but when you go inside windows fonts looks awful. Only WM 7 will support HVGA.
It actually doesn't look at all bad with a slightly larger font, attached; just the default is rather poorly designed.
This is the original. I don't see any big differences
Enabling ClearType: how to enable the Screen control panel
Hi all,
ClearType can be enabled through the Screen control panel but HTC disabled it.
To enable the Screen control panel, one may use his preferred registry editor: go to "\HKLM\ControlPanel\Pen" then change the "Hide" key content from 1 to 0. After a device reboot, the Screen control panel is available under "Sense Settings tab > Menu > More > System".
After re-enabling ClearType, the text is really much more readable in MS applications such as EMail, Calendar, Contacts, Mobile Office, etc.
Hope this helps.
Excellent, much better; thanks!
great !!!!

Amazing! Working perfect!!!

Hi! It is possible to make even easier! Here to you a label! Simply through the file manager press a label, and receive adjustments cleartype!
wonderful solutions makes for a far better view!!
tnx so much!
A word of caution.
HD mini is one quirky WM device. If the cleartype does not bother you too much, or if it's not essential, better leave it as it is. The more you tinker with the unavailable settings, the more chances it could randomly produce unexpected behavior. Such as freeze and other stuffs.
