hello all
please could someone help me out here. all my buttons do not seem to work when the phone is on, the only button that works is the camera one. but wen phone turned of i can still load up boot screen (using volume button) but volume button doesnt work when phone is on. also the keyboard doesnt work, can only type d and o.
so please could someone help me out as i dont want to send it off to be fixed.

Have you tried hard resetting or reflashing your ROM?
Hard reset will delete all your data and installed programs (except anything on your memory card). Press the two silver buttons + the stylus reset button under battery cover simultaneously to do it.
this is like the horror senario of our keyboard problems

thank you for your suggeestions, i did a hard reset and ROMed it bck to warrenty rom but this still didnt fink it. i was planning on takin the phone in 2day but mysteriously this mornin when woke up the keyboard and phone was working, its a mystery but im so glad its working.

my magacian got dead i dont know why,
but i rememeber my last call and then i checked my magacian , it was not getting up....
i tried followiing things:
trying to soft reset by the stylus,,,
tried holding the on/off and camera button and then trying to soft reset.....
BUt only thing my magacian is showning is the green line is blinking....
so i tried opening the battery an putting it back again but still no help.....
now the green light is alos not blinking....
tried charging also ....no help ....not charging.....
What shall i do.....and how can i hard reset it......

Hold in the on/off button and press the stylus into the reset hole at the same time and you have a hard reset...if that doesn't work...send it back.
hey guys, please help me...i bought imate jam used one form some of my frnd...now i want to hard reset ...can anyone tell me how can i do that...and one more thing lets say i hard reset it, will it setup automatically or do i have to put everything on my behalf....please help me....
Push the bottom button and quickly hold the Power button
If that doesn't work, try the other buttons. I think it is the power button.
It will setup and runs nicely as a phone. No worries.

Its the power button. Hold your power button and soft-rest your device for a Hard reset. Yu will then be prompted with a screen saying your device will be customized automatically in 3secs. If you want to save space, skip that by a soft-reset again.

Hey guys
I recently installed phone pad international on my phone. It worked fine at first then for some reason the T9 wouldn't spell english words correctly. I decided to remove Phone pad from the program menu
When I did it asked if I would like to reset, which I said yes. when the phone tried to re boot it got stuck on a white screen which I can't get passed.
I have tried to do a hard reset in each of the following ways:
Hold power & reset together - but this doesn't work
Press Power & camera together which just gets me to the boot loader but with no prompts to take me further.
I would be most grateful if anyone could suggest a solution
(the only other thing that springs to mind is perhaps loading a new ROM but i'm not sure how to do that either)

hold both softkey buttons, and use the stylus to press the 'Reset' button on the bottom.

yea, i got a HTC Titan (P4000) for 2 years now,and its been actin up pretty wierd, freezing.. and all.. but now last night, i couldnt soft reset, i didnt have a pen handy nor stylus..so i had to rmv de battery.. thing i dont like to do..
then it ask me to tap screen to setup... wtf??! .. i did anyways..cause i knew that i had to sync and everything wouldve been fine.. but then after doin to complete installation.. it tells me no radio.

but not quite.. "cause i can access bootloader to update firmware" NOT.
i press power + camera button, then the reset button, and it keeps loading to the htc screen, then says no radio.
i know hard reset is the two soft keys held + reset button
but bootloader???
i cant get to it!!!! lots been sayin they be stuck in it.. lol i cant even get in a mofo.. damn it lol

Are you holding all three buttons in for a few seconds?
yea, i press power + camera + reset, while its on, cause once u press power it turns on..
..i did have some physical issue with the buttons because of humidity, but. they all worked when pressed harder.. i even opened the p4000, removed the casing, pressed them directly,.. nothin.. it still goes to the HTC logo, then after 5-10 secs, it says No Radio.
is it really power+cam+reset?? i read somewhere that i had to press the Ok button.. .. awhh.. shh. well i tried the one on the side.. but not the front one..
Hmm. It is for sure power and camera on right side of phone. And reset on the bottom side of the phone.
ok..well.. lol i dunno man, seems like i got a phone that wants to stay dumb..
if its humidity.. i could try to clean the cam button.. but..
its really reallly tiny.. i dunno if its really that either..
My windows button next to the home button does not work it has not fallen or anything. The start on upper left side on the screen doesnt work either! When I click on them I just come to an strange mode there it ask me if I want to lock the screen....
ok it seems nobody have a clue... then I maybee will softreset my HD2.

Did you have to do a hard reset or did yours start working with a soft reset?
just reseted it from the meny. I dont know the difference hard or soft. Im a noob hehe

Soft reset is like turning phone off and on again.
Hard reset sets phone back to factory settings like you turned it on for the first time.
why are there still ppl that ask questions before they rebooted the phone......... god, thats rule nr. one xD
