What are the new features? Did you just run the .exe or what else was the process?
can you pleas post the steps you took to flash the viva to this rom? i am not done downloading it yet to look for a read me file. also how is it working, any problems with its functionality?
just run the exe file and follow the instructions which will be given in the screen.features titanium plugin is gud and new menu is also gud....som xtra softwares are added....

oh, if i dont it wont work right? but wouldnt it void my warranty? and if i want to send it back for repairs, i need to remove this rom and install the stock rom right? but to do that i need to remove hardspl first right? how to i remove my hardspl?

first u must install hspl thn only u must install this rom ....
Man i have some questions, first i need to know a link or tutorial to how install that update to 6.5 in htc viva(step by step if someone know) coz i dont want to make mistakes, i have i can update wm6.1 to wm6.5 and continue with my apps at the phone or i need to reinstalled again??, and the last question is if i need the microSD for the update or i can take off, pls send me your answer pls thx,,,,1!!

You need to cook a rom with oem package then install all cab.

you can add it only on vga device
if you have a hardspl you can add everythink you want in your rom.

you could allways use a rom with noyhing installed try a lite rom then do a restore to get the bell ui

i know its a lot but the bell ui takes up quite a bit and touch flo 3d is still installed aswell thats why i say use a lite there are quite a few that have no touchflo or apps i use the syrius rom because its the only one with internet explorer 6

HR mean Hard Reset and you can do an hard reset by pressing red button, green button and soft reset button on the back.
About XIP and SYS i dont know... but i think they are some part of the rom

I installed this release normally, no HR was required.

I had a problem... the connection manager said No Service, no way to collect to the line. I had to return at the version 16...
dear aiyaz i downloaded the file but iam unable to install it kindly render ur help.
it says the the file is encrypted wen i run it on the computer.
but wen i run it on my htc touch opal it says first run the specific application and install the file.
I feel this rom a little faster than v16. What differences are between v16 and v17 beside the manilla 2d inside this version???
SOMETIMES AFTER INSTALLING PROGRAMS THE TODAY SETTINGS STOP WORKING. ONLY SHOWS THE "SETTINGS" TITTLE IN THE TOP BUT I CAN'T SWITCH TODAY PLUGINS AND I HAVE TO HARD RESET BUT THEN AGAIN, AFTER A FEW MINUTES OF INSTALLING, THE SAME THING!!

actually, theres a newer version, v20, flash that version instead... v19 has quite a lot of bugs, like the icons are retarted (i really mean tht).. i havent got the time to flash v20 but i can live with v19...

Some tips,suggestion and tricks:
Before flashing put all ur cabs in folder XDA_UC\SD in storage card for xda uc action
For taskmanager install showcase its best for wm 6.5.1 and above
After xda uc restarts the colour of start menu will disappear but when u click it will come, if u want that colour always then just re-enable the elegant black colour theme.
Edit: Goodbye, Touch Viva. Was a great experience to learn something new.

Bro actually i thought that jblend and youtube is used by many peoples so included. I myself dont use youtube and jblend i only used jbed. Ok this is my first rom released i wanted to see the feedback after testing. Next time i will make ultra lite rom with the choice of users.

I just checked , yes they are not working, no problem iam already making the next version of rom.
Till that here are two solutions:
1. click on keypad icon then keeping the keypad on u can select other icons.
2. Use d-pad.
@Rem: Come to yahoo messenger if u can now

You can use www.megaupload.com is a lot faster for uploading and for downloading.

Will the TaskManager displayed properly after I install the english language pack?

Pro Series m6 must give you 73mb on startup AFTER configuring all active sync properly and a deleting unwanted processes on startup. i have used SDK Notification enhancement in this special edition Rom.so its look like htc mega Notification enhancement.i have used PdG TouchFLO 2D Dialer 1.1 so it also look like special dialer.all Essential and basic applications are used from opal stock rom.

try other free file share sites. i.e. www.4shared.com, www.turbobit.net, www.letitbit.net, and same.
maybe you can send ROM to me, i'll share it correctly, cause have normal connection speed.

Both don't opan after installing manually...
No windows live messenger....
No opera...wifi drops....
Wifi icon show running but Marketplace shows no internet....
Shows windows 7 rather than wm 6.1 at start....
Internet explorer and Youtube is slow....

I accidentally pressed the button "thanks" instead of "quote". However, if you do not like this rom you are free to cook your own.... So you can insert in the rom marketplace, myphone, opera and anything you want. please do not denigrate the work of others, mehulkarate is a good chef and he has spent much time on this rom. If you do not like this rom do not use it and do not leave offensive messages.
