I have searched for "appointments" and "outlook calendar"
This is getting to be quite FRUSTRATING!!!!
This all started with the time change.
All appointments are displayed one hour behind schedule. Not only are they displayed this way, but they alarm this way. For example; a 10 o'clock appointment shows as a 11 o'clock appointment.
This is even after many soft resets and ActivSync-ing.
The appointment displays and alarms correctly on the desktop.
BUT, when I try to edit it back to a 10 o'clock appointment in the phone, outlook calendar shows it as a 10 o'clock appointment under the edit menu!!
So, I would have to change it to a 9 o'clock appointment in order for it to alarm and display as a 10 o'clock appointment.
ANY suggestions??
I have tried altering the time zone. If I switch it to a similar time zone, the displayed time will be corrected. BUT -that makes the clock an hour slow. This also only half-way works temporarily. The phone knows what time zone it is in and auto-corrects.
Check out the daylight savings time update here.
I have spent the entire day, off and on, with the last 5-6 hours non-stop trying to fix this issue.
I erased all appointments from both the phone and the PC.
I updated the PC as per the supplied link.
I have downloaded and installed the DST for Outlook and the PPC.
When I re-enter the appointments on the PC, they are an hour late on the PPC.
When I re-enter the appointments on the PPC, they are an hour early on the PC.
It seems that there is not a fix for this issue!
Where do I go next??

Hi
When i have appointments in my calender, i get a notice on my today screen with my first upcoming appointment. But now i've got no upcoming appointments these next days, i get a message of a appointment next friday! A little early for a reminder i think! Is it possible to set a maximum number of daus in advance a message is shown? thx
same thing happens here. i havent found an option to change it as of yet. getting a reminder 7 days ahead of time is kinda pointless.
Take a look at PocketBreeze.
You can configure it to see just about any amount of various PIM events (Appointments, Meetings, Tasks, Birthdays & Anniversaries, Contacts, etc.) on the Today screen.
Plus it allows you to add custom tabs and see any other Today screen plugins on a tab within PocketBreeze.
(And, yes - I'm biased. I moderate there! )
Anybody got a solution to fixing the MS Calendar?
When i make appointments, lets say i sync'd the appointments to GMT+9, then next week i go to GMT+10, all my appointments are shifted 1hr forward.
Any fixes that will prevent that from happening? i just want to schedule my appointment Via 1 timeline regardless of timezone.
I have a problem with appointment reminders on my HTC Jade. I do not get reminders of any type for appointments set on the calendar. I had this problem again last month but it just went away after a couple of days. Now I've had it for almost a week and it doesn't seem as if it's going away.
The strange thing is that I see the appointments as upcoming on the phone home screen, I'm sure the reminders are set right but yet I do not get nothing as a reminder.
I wonder whether anybody who faced the same problem or knows something could help me out with this?
Hi folks,
I've spent the last 8 hours organising all of my contacts getting their email addresses, phone numbers and birthdays all up-to-date on my Google Apps 'Contacts', and synced via Exchange to my mobile. Lovely jubbly. However, their birthdays never got transferred into my phone's calendar (which kind of defeated the point of me adding them all to the contacts!). So I downloaded and ran 'B2C' (Birthday to Calendar) which worked beautifully.
Only there's one issue - the reminder time that's been set for all of these recurring all-day events is 2 hours, which would mean that I'd only be reminded about each persons' birthday at 10pm the night before (which, to be honest, isn't ideal when a card and present are in order!).
So I was wondering if there was any way of changing the reminder time of each and every recurring all-day event in my calendar (since the birthdays are the only recurring all-day events I have in there) to 3.5 days instead of 2 hours? Can I run a batch script or something to do the job?
Trying to avoid having to use Outlook if I can, since I'm on a Mac and it'll be a pain in the arse trying to get all of that set up and working properly on my VM.
Cheers!
I'm using Android WITHOUT a data plan on my Verizon xv6900 smartphone. The one annoying problem I have is the lack of a good calendar function. Since I'm not using data, I can't sync with Google calendar etc.
I have tried probably 15-20 different calendar apps and they all have one annoying trait in common: I can't schedule repeat appointments on the days of the week, ex. on every 2nd Tuesday. Almost all allow you to repeat appointments on the numerical day (ex. the 8th of every month), but not on the day of the week.
Does anyone know of a good calendar app that can schedule repeat appointments on the day of the week, not on the number?
