Such problem: after flashing rom from a flash card without USPL, phone does not see SIM.
Tried different roms after that, original tried does not help.

Did you check if SIM is well inserted?

I don't think it's locking situation... IMHO it's something with your hardware smart-chip reader...

like you upgrade the normal rom but having the
"Radio_.nbf" of your choice in the dir with the flash tool
rather then the "nk.nbf"

i had the same problem with my htc vox.
wouldn't recognize any sim card i put in. i swapped parts and everything, and it still would work, so i just give it to my uncle.
try changing the rom? different sim card? different radio?
I flashed my HTC with a new ROM from xda-dev named "RUU_Polaris_HTC_WWE_1.25.405.1_radio_sign_25.65.30.04_1.58.21.23_Ship.exe"
yet now I can't register my vodaphone SIM & can't even detect vodaphone network anymore.
I tried another ROM with the same result. any suggestions?
Try the HTC-site for the latest official ROM. It worked for me !

Did you remove your sim card and SD card before flashing? You might want to try flashing again in that case.
Only removed the SD-card, but did twice a Hard-reset in advance before flashing the original Rom.

i bought a t-mobile hd2, it is unlocked since it doesn't ask for a code, if i insert sim card it gets freeze every couple of minutes i tried to flash new rom change radio spl, nothing worked. only if i take the sim out it works like charm but the moment i put the sim in i freezes, i tried different sim same problem ? i did search cant solve my problem
If it's your SIM card, just take it into T-mobile, they'll replace it free & quick. But make sure you have the stock rom on it when you take it in or it will void any warranty.
If it's your microSD card try formatting it to your phone. If that doesn't work it's probably corrupt. Not sure if it's covered or not.
Sorry I couldn't be of much more help, but I'm sure one of these brilliant minds on here can help more.

It didn't ask for a code? so you aren't with T-mobile then I'm guessing..
You might wanna try a hard-reset, and if there's an SD card in there try taking it out.
On my ZTE blade, When i put a sim card into the phone i get the message 'No Sim Detected'
So it does not know that a sim card has been inserted
The IMEI is clean and it has not been blocked
the sim is making perfect contact with the contacts
I have tried re-installing my Cyanogen Rom but no luck?

Hi everyone! Please help!
I have a problem with XT905. When i put sim card into phone its writes that sim card is invalid. But it(phone) can see when sim card is in the phone and when its not.
SIM card work correctly on the other phone.
What is need to do? Is it possible, that phone is locked to another carrier? In settings there is shown that phone is XT905 Australia.
Solved by flashing stock radio image.
