Hey all, hope this is the right area for this cuz I hate to get cyber cussed out.....anyway installed Throttle Launcher and Touch Flo 3D on my Wing and I have some concerns. Is it possible to have access to my photos by using the "flip" method like I see on youtube and on the Diamond. Also how do I get the music to display album art and tracks and stuff.Any help or info would be appreciated.Thanx!
i can speak for what works for me...
i use m2d and m2d customizer to edit which tabs i use because i don't need the google maps tab and i don't use the internet launcher tab. TL ran very slow on my atlas and seemed buggy (more buggy than m2d)
as far as the album art... if you ripped the album art with the music off the cd it'll show up in the music tab.
Sync with windows media player on your pc and it will transfer the album art.

Whenever I use a Windows Media player Skin other than the default one, I am faced with the Skin section in the options screen whenever I open Windows media player and whenever I begin playing any media. This is rather annoyinh - as I have to keep closing these options screen.
Is there a way to fix this?
Also, what is the ideal resolution of Album Art for WMP in VGA?
Thanks alot

To show album art, just place the album image in the same folder as the song(s) you wish it to be album art for and call it "Folder.jpg".
I just found S2P and it's great album art flip feature and realized....I don't have much album art...
Is there an application out there that will download album art for me?
I download conduits pocket player, which does this...but I can't find where it puts the image.
Thanks,
Matt
i dont know if you like this its kind of bothersome but i found this thing called mp3tags.what you do is find your music that doent have any art and embed the art into the mp3 yourself.its simple but if you have alot of mp3`s then you may not like it
I use windows media player ( on my computer )... with the old urge program..... and when i right click a song it gives me the option to find the album info on line or insert my own.
it compares your song with a online library and updates it with the full name .... and album cover.
I think i have an automatic option on mine because it seems as if it searches for them automatically when ever I buy new mp3 with out album covers.
once everything is updated just sync it to your phone using windows media and you should be good. All my music is organized, rated, and with full album info.
Hi,
After a month of using Xperia, having applied tweaks and installed custom apps and add-ons... i believe it to be the best mobile ever!
Alas! today i set out to accomplish more on the device. I installed various applications including; HTC Home and HTC Home Configration, Conduits Pocket Player, Mort Player, Flip Side (Great Player but extreme resource hog!), and a couple of other things. As you can imagine, i was looking mainly for an alternative to WMP for playing mp3s. I use CorePlayer for movies playback, but need one for Mp3s...
Any idea which one might have caused the problem...
Best Regards.
Well... it was most definitely HTC Home + HHC. After hard-resetting, i installed it again. And voila! the device fails to start up again.
Am hard resetting again...
Hey i've killed mine twice in the past 24hr, thank god I managed to re-flash it
That will teach me to try to hack out a custom rom for myself, although my phone has just booted now, with :-
Touch-IT Experience 2.2 No Panels, just wanted TFL3D (Good Basepoint, thanks itje)
20931 XPI (ain't managed to get the SYS folder updated yet )
Updated Manilla and other blackstone apps from latest blackstone rom
Changed pagepool to 24mb

Hehe... i didn't flash the rom with a custom one... like the Panels and performance was awesome after tweaking. I like TF3D but only as another Panel and not just the only one.
Windows media player can play MP3's
If you install G alarm it installs the MP3 codec into windows media play. Windows media play will then pick up and play your Mp3 files and display there album art, which is nice. WMP nows plays everyhting well apart from midi files, which play at an appaling quality. Dont forget the update libarary option in media player to scan for files
Down load these midi file, play it on your PC, never has so much passion, & emotion come in such a tini music file, hope you like ! Then see what the X1 plays them like.

Of course Media Player can play MP3s... why wouldn't it? And i even got Album art working with it... but i don't want to use WMP but am looking for a better alternative.
I have an iPhone and to me the iPod player on it is awesome. Flipside provided similar functionality, but too slow and buggy to use. I am keeping my iPhone as an iPod touch so will usually use that for music, but i won't be carrying the iPhone with me all the time and thus wanted some great program for the Xperia to playback music as well...
Is there an app for the HD which can handle my music like the iPhone does?
Sorted albums or genres etc.
Yea, there is TouchFlo 3D which comes pre-installed on the Touch HD.
The following tabs are available in the players menu: Now Playing, Artists, Ablums, Playlists, All Songs, Genres, Composers & Purchased.
funny
but the iPhones´is more comfortable. no app available?
Try S2p, it´s a iphone like software
Link please
Found it, thx

Hi there, this will seem like a very strange request, but I want to know how (if at all) I can run the Manila Audio player without needing to run the full Manila interface as I prefer the day to day use of Mobile Shell 3.
The Manila Audio Player organises the media files very well, allowing searching of the library by album, artist, genre very well, and all with my rather chunky digits...
I have tried several other offerings to replace Windows Media Player, the library function of this is sadly way behind the touch capabilities of most of todays windows mobile phones...
"Slide to Play" seems a little too responsive in CoverFlo mode and does not contain all the functionality in landscape mode, shame really as I want to use it in the car as a portable music collection whilst also running my TomTom Sat Nav in Landscape mode.
Any other suggestions or a way of using Manila's media player would be greatly appreciated...
I looked through the phones file system and was unable to find an executable that runs the Manila audio player. It appears to place a shortcut into the start menu when Manila is set as your Today screen but the shortcut disappears when Manila is removed from the today screen. I checked the proprieties of the shortcut and it points to "\Windows\ManilaShortcut.exe" music
I copied the shortcut to a new folder in my start menu and removed Manila from my Today screen but the shortcut would not open the player. It seems that the audio player will only work from within Manila
hi,
as anybody found a way how I can use the audio player without on manila enabled.
thanks,
steffen
