Some games that worked and didn't work for me

ZioGolf 2, Tennis Addict, Simcity 2000, DiamondMine, & Conquest all work on my WM5 device. I'll post more as I try more programs out.
I could not get SkyForce (smartphone version) to display correctly on my ppc 6700. Although the game did work.
JS Turjah version 110 sound works, but no display

Nice and easy...

Version 2.2 of Birdsoft's All-In Texas Hold'Em works now with WM5. I have tested on the 6700.

Got it but I cant configure the buttons, so i cant fire just walk about lol

Yea same here with Worms World Party... altho people have said it works on the Universal?! :?: :?:

Skyforce v1.22 works perfectly on the universal. [Sorry wasn't sure if you were saying it did or didn't].

As we all have such a great screen, I thought it would be a great idea to create a list of VGA Games that work on Universal.

How did you get "Gamebox Solitaire - www.pdamill.com" to work? I can install the demo but it won't recognise my contact details and therefore will not let me register the game...
I contacted PdaMill and they said that the game wasn't WM5 compatible yet...

I have the full version, I got error message saying couldn't find ppc name etc but then the windows installer just loaded the file. its stunning on the exec

Yep mine did the same... However when you quit it tells you that you have installed the demo version and so I only have one deck to replay over and over again!
I have to agree though it looks stunning!

What about Doom?

I tried Doom, and it does seem to work in portrait mode with the on screen keyboard. Haven't really tried playing it much. The controls won't be easy like that, but it looks good (though small). To make up for the difficulty with controls, it does seem that cheat codes work. I'd have to quit my job to really have time to test it out. I'll have to think about that. :wink: I have the Doom2 wad loaded, but I couldn't get a downloaded wad to load.

Touch games

Any suggestions on games for my Touch? Given the processer speed etc what games will work and are safe?

great game I play is maggot attack pinball, im trying to find a working version of celeris virtual pool mobile but doesnt seem to wok right, cant exit the game and cant enter the menu....also a good game is bejeweled2 but that doesnt work right either

I agree that there are some games that just dont seem to work right (struggling to exit etc). Is the Touch unable to hanlde games then? I have a demo verion of Call of Duty 2 on which appears ok but are we left with simple stuff like pacman and bubbles only?

I'm currently playing Broken Sword Shadow of the Templars by Astraware. It works great and is completely stylus based, so the lack of hardware buttons is not important. After that I will be playing Siberia 1 and 2 which should be about the same.

Call of Duty 2 runs well on my Touch clocked to 260 mhz....

on mine COD2 was really slow at 312 ;|

allin holdem, billard master2, bowling master, maumau, millionaire, olmi chess(multiplayer), poker challange, sea strike, smart mahjongg, smart simon, solitaire, tropical nights and some more java games like scrabble.

Download the windows CE arm package from scummvm

And then obtain copies of monkey island 1 and 2 copy them to your mobile device and run scummvm

Pc games for Tp2 ?

Hi there, today I've recieved my tp2 But I saw you can run warcraft 2 on a htc diamond i believe is it possible for the tp2 to run this ?

Also do a search for Pocket UFO 1.26 - it's a Windows mobile remake of the classic UFO: Enemy Unknown. Great stuff if you like a bit of turn based action/strategy.
EDIT: Also, if you are familiar with DOS and can fiddle around with settings, you can download PocketDOS and/or DosBox for PPC. You need to tune the settings some, but that enables you to download original games for DOS and play them on the PPC. Personally I've been playing Eye of the Beholder 2 quite a bit the last few days, after that I'm playing Monkey Island I bet.

WOW wait dosbox on my phone FANTASTIC but does it support the qwerty keybord ? And Monkey Island great game my favourite only is there scummvm for windows mobile ??

Scummvm on the mini?

hi, is there a way or a certain download for a good workin scummvm version, ive tried a few but couldnt get the screen size right. or is there another type program that can play point and click games on the mini?
would be great to play the curse of monkey island on the mini!!!
