Hi
Strange thing is happening with my HD.
There is a month ago, I could observe directly Youtube movies in IE6 or Opera in ROMs whose had Flash Player.
However, from some days ago, IE6 or Opera only play directly Youtube movies, after the ROM instalation; making a soft reset, Flash Player stops working. It's necessary to make a Hard reset to recover Flash working, but making again a soft reset, again it stops working!!!???
I have tryed with some popular ROMs, whose have Flash, and the problem appear in all ROMs.
Anyone, please help me to solve the problem? (As recomended I make a hard reset after a ROM instalation).
Thanks very much for an help.

Have you tried using Duttys V2.1 Xtreme? I believe it has a fix imbedded into it which may fix your problem, plus its an awesome ROM
Thanks for the answer.
Yes, also I installed Duttys V2.1 Xtreme and the problem is the same:
Flash Player at Opera works only before any soft reset. After making a soft reset, Flash stops working in any ROM.
Please help
Try doing the following :
a) After a soft-reset go to the site "www.mobilinkgsm.com" and then select the link under DSL / Broadband
b) Let this site load for a few minutes. You will see progress bars on the web page but somehow the site will not fully display the flash objects.
c) Now close Opera and Reinstall FlashLite 3.1
d) Try running a flash enabled site and this time it should run such as YouTube
Regards
Flash Player only works with IE6, not Opera
Thanks for your help
I began the experience with Opera. Indeed it solve a problem temporarily; making again a soft reset the problem appear again.
I found that the problem is caused by Opera and not by IE6, this is, viewing Youtube movies in IE6, the soft reset doesn't stop Flash Player.
Making the same using Opera, this crash Flash Player and after this, neither Opera nor IE6 will work with Youtube.
Now I understand why ROM cookers, in the new releases, abandoned Opera with Flash Player. Now, generally, only IE6 has Flash Player.
Thanks

Hi folks,
Maybe its the same thing... but I'm not sure.
I have been having serious difficulty with some apps refusal to load and/or connect to the internet, namely Marketplace, Peep, The Channer, Speeedreader and various other 3rd party applications. I have soft reset a number of times to no avail, I even uninstalled and reinstalled all the apps (except Peep) and now Marketplace won't even open when I click on it! Very frustrating in what is turning out to be an otherwise pleasant phone experience! Opera and my Email connect to HSDPA and various wifi without issue, but the above apps don't see either wifi or my network connection at all, ever.
Its like some file got wiped out in the registry or something.
Here is the link to those woes of mine in another post (with evdincial videos): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=589765&highlight=weareborg
I was going to take the plunge and do my first hard reset today until I heard that 1.48 ROM was out.
My question is, (because I think that some vital connection registry setting or something I screwed up big time with when using Total Commander) is it wiser to do a hard reset with existing firmware in the hopes my connection issues will be resolved OR should I flash to 1.48 directly??
Essentially, is flashing the same as hard resetting or will the overwriting of the files in the flashing process simply leave out what it can't see and I'm back to square one?
I hope you can understand my ramblings and would appreciate any advice!
Thanks in advance!
In my humble opinion if you have to HR anyway, you may as well move up to the latest ROM.
Good fault finding would say go with the HR and see if you can recreate the problem, but why not kill two birds...
Good luck
Thanks Gustopher, so flashing and HR are essentially the same? All the files Connection files are there in the new ROM? I'm not sure how much a new ROM "borrows" from an old ROM if you get me..
Thanks again.
wab.
Flashing a new ROM effectively performs a hard reset anyway. I've not heard of the 1.48 ROMs being worse in any way so if you're hard resetting anyway, you might as well update the ROM while you're at it.
Flashing the ROM is NOT the same as hardresetting.
If you flash a ROM, you will install a "new operating system" and everything will be wiped clean (as if it were hard resetted too)
A hard reset re-installs the CURRENT "operating system" and also wipes your device.
So... if you need to hard reset anyway, and a new ROM is out, just flash the new ROM.
The connection files (to setup GPRS automatically etc) are in the new ROM. It will work.
Thanks a lot all for your opinions!
Okay... I'm goin' in!
Fingees crossed!
I'm having a problem where Opera will get to the HTC loading screen and just stay there without loading anything. It was working fine and all of a sudden it has stopped. I'm running the 1.48 wwe rom and have tried doing soft resets. Can anyone help?
2 of us
The same here.
He-e-elp!
fix
Opera cache is overloaded, just empty it!
Sometimes when I want to take a picture, I was unable to start my camera app, instead a error message pops up like the one shown. Why is this? How can I fix it?
Close opera if it is running in the background and then try using the camera
I have close all the programs, same error message pop up.
Rom?
Radio?
So if you dont find any solution I think its better reflash the HD2.
it usually happens when using some coocked roms , try to flash stock and try again
Happened to me once a couple of weeks ago [stock rom]. tried again and it worked.
I keep getting this after installing the latest o2 stock rom.
It is happening to me with or without stock ROM...
Have you got opera 10 installed? if so uninstall it and the problem should go away. I had the same problem and since removing this version of opera, the problem hasn't re appeared.
I have the stock rom, and this had happened before I installed opera 10.
please help, same error
experiencing the exact same problem...soft resets have been my temporary solution until i find out more info. on the issue
I use Close Process to kill camera.exe or opera.exe when I get this problem. Now when I close Opera, I can use Camera after 5 secs.
I have no idea why.....
Hello everyone!
I'm trying to watch some movies from Google Play Movies but everytimes it gives me this error: "There was a problem while playing, touch to retry.. or reboot the phone" (I don't know if it's the correct translation, my language is italian).
I googled a lot, and I found some possible solutions, like:
- reinstall the application
- clean app's data and cache
- wipe dalvik
- switch to 3g / change wifi
- enable AwesomePlayer instead of NuPlayer
- set the governor to "persistence"
I tried everything, but the problem is still there. I even tried to change rom and kernel but it hasn't solved it!
So I lost my hopes, and switched to Netflix.. but here, same problem! After pushing the play button, it starts a loop with the "loading in progress".. I tried the solutions above, but I haven't solved it yet
Am I the only one with this issue? How can I fix this?
Thanks, and sorry for my bad english
EDIT: I just discovered that by enabling the "simulate secondary screen" option under Developer settings, the movie magically starts into the secondary screen (this works for google play movies only... not for netflix). Anyone knows the reason?
I haven't come across this problem before. It sounds like the kind of bug you might encounter if you are using a custom ROM or kernel. If you are, you could try flashing back to a stock build and see if the problem goes away.
If you are using a stock ROM and kernel, it sounds like you have tried almost everything and it might be time to perform a factory reset. Obviously this is not a common problem with the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, so it might be the result of a settings change you have made. The quickest way to test the theory will be to perform a factory reset - you can backup first if you want to.
If that doesn't solve the problem, it must be an issue with your WiFi or mobile data provider... but this is a very unlikely possibility.
Good luck with the problem.

Thank you for your suggestions
At the moment I'm using Audax ROM and Kernel, but I had the same issue with the stock rom + arter97 kernel..
I had a look to the logcat, and by searching the errors on google I found other users in my same situation (with custom ROMs) I tried the fixes suggested but none of them worked
Same problem. Done most of the solutions provided. Nothing Works. Using Wanam Lite on SM-910C. Anyone could help. :-/
Did anybody experienced video lags / intermittent stuttering specially Hd video after N update? The only player that can make videos watchable is MXplayer in SW mode.
I tried wiping cache partition and reinstalling the update via bootloader to no avail. I thought I was lucky because i did not experience any bugs reported by other users but then I discovered this one.
Help?

Nothing changed even after the latest update. The videos are still laggy as hell
Did you upgrade with a factory reset? I didn't and had a weird crashing problem with root explorer (the only problem I had with nougat) that was corrected after I did that. Use Titanium Backup and it's not so bad
How HD are we talking? Like a 5gig file or 500meg?
I factory reset right after I updated and had no problems. You should seriously consider trying that.

I already tried factory resetting ( via recovery) after nougat update. I even reinstalled the update, reformat again, then wipe cache partition to no avail. Even the newest "stability" update did not change it. I never had this problem with M.
I can try and see if I can duplicate the issue you're having, what size video exactly? Is it h264 or h265? I tried a 500meg 720p video and didn't see any issues with it.
So hw and hw+ mode didn't work at all in mxplayer?
