hey everyone
i'm new here and am just getting used to my touch cruise. i've downloaded the official WM6.1 upgrade but now i find that i've got the same home screen that i had on WM6. did htc not include the new Sliding Panel Home Screen in their official upgrade? is there any way i can somehow get this screen on my cruise? also, when txting and writing emails i see that the upgrade has no touch keyboard or touch keypad for input. is there any way to get these on my cruise?
many thanks!
Ive tried searching, could someone post up a cab for the touch keypad that came with 6.1
I am new to this forum and not very tech but desperately want to get letter recognizer back onto my touch diamond2 (ROM 2.31.841.6 WWE) - why did HTC remove it?! I have seen a Touch HD thread on the topic but the reg keys are different for the touch Diamond2 and I don't know where to look to find the correct keys to change for the TD 2. Any help in getting this to work would be great. Thanks.

Thanks fighter7139 - finally found what I wanted hidden deep in the thread. For anyone else on WM6.5 with a Touch Diamond2 HTC now have released a hotfix for handwriting "Update for HTC Touch Diamond2 Handwriting" on their Asian website and it seems to work fine for letter recogniser.
Hi Guys. Is it possible to keep the large finger style menus in wm6 with touch flo turned on, as you know when touch flo is turned of you have a differant set of tabs and i prefer the wm6 version.
Regards Mark
Not sure what you mean..... WM6 is known for its not finger friendliness and for use with stylus.
Can you explain a bit more?
Hi and thanks for the reply, if i turn on the phone by default touch flo kicks in and you have the nice home screen, if you go into the settings and turn of the touch flo and put windows as default you loose the nice home screen but you have a more colourful display with menu pops up when texting or emailing etc. just wondered if i can keep the colourful menus but also keep the default touch flo home screen.
cheers mark
change or add registry key:
HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCMenus
DWORD: "EnableManilaCheck"=0

Would like to attach my request also here.
Have a HTC Touch Cruise P3650 (Polaris with WM 6) where the relation between the plain screen on one hand and screen with keyboard on the other hand is ok.
Second unit is a HTC Topaz T5353 (Touch Diamond II with WM 6.5) where this relation is very bad. Keyboard is sometimes much too big.
Did not succed to find a smaller one. Just like the one from the P3650. I very often use the stylus and that size would then suite me. While I often read more than I write ;-)
