How to create directories in WM6? - Touch HD General

I would like to arrange all icons currently on 'Programs' section inside directories.
I know it's possible because i already have 'Games' directory inside but i just can't find how to create a new directory and move icons into it.

use total commander
or if you must use explore
then go to \windows\start menu\programs
and go nuts
tab'n'hold should give you the create dir option

HELP ME PLEASE

EVERY TIME I REBOOT MY XDAII, I KEEP GETTING THE FOLLOWING MESSAGECANNOT FIND incsp20 OR ONE OF ITS COMMPONENT .MAKE SURE THE PATH AND FILNAME ARE CORRECT AND ALL REQUIRED LIBRARIES ARE AVAILABLE)
SINCE I AM AN ILLETERATE IN POCKETPC I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO AND I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO GET THIS FILE OR LOOK FOR IT,CAN ANY ONE HELP ME PLEASE
well it sounds like there is a shortcut in windows\Startup
to a program called INCSP20.exe
which is not located the place that the shortcut indicates
you could
try and move the shortcut out of StartUp
or make a new shortcut to the place that INCSP20.exe is located and
put that in the startup dir
if it's needed for something
thank you rudegar
thank you rudegar
but how can i do what you told me to do.
well i always use total commander
http://www.ghisler.com/pocketpc.htm
but i suppose you can also use file explore which is already on your pda under programs in the start bar
then you navigate to the dir
windows\Startup
and remove the entry called INCSP20
(you may want to copy it somewhere else just in case you need it for something)
but how you make shortcuts or edit them in file explore i dont know
it's easy with total commander

How to make program shortcut in WM5.0

Hi All
Can anybody guide me how to create shortcut for any programs in WM5
that don't have installation. I want to add their icons in "Program" folder in order that I can use it from there instead of tab it from file explorer
everytime.

Thanks for your replying, but, where is
"\windows\start menu\programs" folder?
Is it in ROM or storage card?
I tried to find it, but, couldn't find at all
It is in your RAM. The 'upper directory' of your 'My Documents' directory.

File Explorer Icon missing in the Programs Folder

I had the File Explorer icon in my programs folder. It is now missing in my Cingular 8525 Windows Mobile 6. How can I get the icon back into the programs folder?
activesync you device to the pc, then from the pc browse to \windows
create a shortcut for fexplore.exe, and move that shortcut to \windows\start menu
it's
\windows\start menu\Programs
unless he want it in the quick list
also you dont have to use the pc
you can make perfectly good shortcuts
using total commander and other explores
maybe file explore itself cant being that it suck a bit but reso
and total does the job

[Q]Shortcuts in TF3D

I'm just wondering if there is a possibility to create shortcuts in the Programs-Tab of TF3D of applications that are not installed but just run by clicking the .exe-file in the file explorer.
Like it is with GPong2D.
Does anyone know?
yep, just use a good file explorer like total commander (the stock file exploer may work). go to where you have the .exe storied and copy it. then go to windows/start menu/programs and just paste the .exe there. you can now launch it from the programs list. and when you use tf3d to add a program to the launcher it should show up. hope this helps

Using your file explorer on your HD, browse to the location where you installed iGo8, i.e. /program files/iGo8 or storage card/program files/iGo8
Create shortcut of .exe file. Copy this file and put it into /windows/start menu/programs
Now when you go to Start menu your icon should appear
here's where the iGo is
Storage card / iGO8 and inside it all of the maps and content
i copied the iGO8.exe and put it in
MyDevice/ windows/start menu/programs
it shows in start menu but when i clicked it it build two files in the start menu " saved" and " custom" and also it didn't work
did i do something wrong?

Don't copy the iGO8.exe file, create a shortcut to it and copy the shortcut to /windows/start menu/programs
