I am soooo confused plss help
I am sort of new here a i downloaded windows mobile 6.1 and my hermes starts to the first screen then the second one freezes. The light is green at the top and not blinking anymore i really need help!
Did you Hard SPL your Hermes first? If the answer is "NO" There is a a lot of the chefs have that on their post, its pretty much PLASTERED ALL OVER this site. Its may take A LOT of reading to unbrick your Hermes, if ever.

Actually i did a hard reset by pressing the two soft keys then the reset button but thanks for the info.

Is there any software where you can unlock the hermes by touching the screen so it will read your fingerprint? Is that possible? That would be a great software.

To put it simply, no. It cannot be done with the current technology in our devices.

darn that would be cool. This is off topic but is there a rom where u can make the home screen just like vista? For example the icons and start menu. Also is there anyway someone can make a game for windows mobile to play halo that would be great. I heard someone had the halo thing but he custom made it and did not want to share it. None of these questions warrents a new thread. Search and you will find re Vista looking Rom, if one exists otherwise there are ways to do it yourself without cooking a rom.

Ok I can't find the right program to get the Touchflo with cube action on my Sprint PPC6700 which I just recently upgraded to Helmi's WM6. It's either I can't seemed to find the right one, or I don't know how to follow instructions. I keep getting this black screen ever after reboot. If anyone can point me in the right direction as to which program would work best on a WM6 Sprint PPC6700, I would really appreciate it. A more simpler Touchflo program would be great because I've seen some on here that you have to go to different threads just to get the complete touchflo on your system. If not than I'll just go with whatever you suggest. Thanks again.

I appreciate the quick response. It works pretty good but sometimes it slows my system down. Is yours doing the same? You wouldn't happen to know of one that doesn't use flashlite and comes pretty close to the original? I like it though and will keep it until something better comes up. I do agree with everyone else I wish the bottom part wasn't there. Oh and does anyone know where I can download the Mediaminihum file? When I tried the other programs it wanted me to delete this in my startup menu. Do I even need this file? Thanks

I just got my Sprint mogul(6800) and ive been wanting to make it look like the iPhone with the TouchFLO Biotouch and all that or atleast to make it look cool other that just the plain look all ive been able to change on it is the theme but I want skins the thing is that I have a Mac Book so its really really hard to do anything the only thing that ive been able to download is a syncmate driver thta doesnt help t all so if anyone can help me please let me know u can contact me a [email protected] please

There are many, many options but you have to find it yourself.
I have a macbook pro and the first thing i learned was to install bootcamp - it's not an option, but a necessity! I do use .mac to sync all my contacts and calender, for that I use missing sync.
Now onto you trying to turn your mogul into a wannabe iphone. The best option I've seen around her is a ROM created by NexVision.

This ROM has the iphone theme and you'll have to activate touchflo via settings. it has a lot of programs you've never ehard of, nor used, but will!
I hate to say that you'll need to upgrade to the newest sprint rom, unlock with olipro 2.4, then flash with this ROM. Read the threads and they'll give you detailed instructions on how to accomplish all this.

Diamond theme

first of all: great work!!
i've got an HTC Touch Cruise with the SPB MS2.1 and your diamond theme layout F with the colored menu buttons.
Now screen:
- the cellphone provider's name doen't come centered in the middle of the top line and writes over network cover symbole and battery indicator.patch please.
-with layout F, profile icon moves from top bar to bottom right just above screen icons but internet connetion icon in top bar is not available (very usefull)
-new profile icon is difficult to hit.touch area too small.
-is it possible to have the upcoming appointments from the agenda on the now screen? it would be cool to have all the general information in just one click and one view.
Other screen:
-the forum explaination how to add the 9' menu button is hard to understand for me as i am not an expert at all.please make a patch or plugin to download.
-very important:customizing the menus,it does not allow to add the adjustment blacklight icon to the menu (does not come on the list?)?? In the SPB MS2.1,this came on the second page top left, very practical!

theres a cab file somewheres aswell as the registry key for the 9th tab in that 2.1 theme thread.if you open the thread then search that thread for 9th tab cab it may show up.if you don't find it i'll look when i return from the hulk.

Changing wallpaper problem
Hello,
I've got an Artemis (P3300) and whenever i try and change the wallpaper nothing happens.
I view the picture and click "Set as today wallpaper" and choose 0%, then click ok. After this nothing happens - the wait symbol is supposed to come up while the wallpaper is changing but this doesn't happen. Then, when i check the today screen its the same as before.
I've also tried changing the wallpaper from the today settings menu, and this works but the opacity is 65%. Is there any way to change the opacity setting (to 0%) using this method?
BTW, this problem occurs with all roms i flash.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

There is one test rom only, strangely on the upgrade section. You will have to find it, think of it as a quest.

I guarantee you will not only find th eansweres to your questions, but you will learn along the way. This will help you when customizing your Niki.

I hardly make any posts here but I'm rather suprised about the lack of "try before you cry" on this one.
To actually do something Ontopic then:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=404 over there you'll indeed find several 6.5 Roms for the Niki, you could also use the 6.5 kitchen that you'll find in that section. For a lightweight version just pick one of the many "Lite" versions of the roms you'll find in there.
However.. before you even try to upgrade anything, please do yourself a favour and read up a bit on SSPL/HardSPL/Radio upgrades and perhaps CID/ unlock if required
And if you Do try to upgrade your rom, make sure it's been given the old HardSPL, a suitable radio and.. After THAT.. a new rom.
Not doing so will have you stranded in, IF you're lucky, the wonderful land of mtty which is a deep dark and interesting pit that you'll learn to love once you've bricked your device for the first time
Your chances of ending up there are woven into the fabric of skillpoints you've collected on the "Read you must first, not Do!"-spell btw..

firstly, my phone apparently hates ROMS. each one i've attempted to install has not worked. don't ask why, or what i'm doing, it just hates them. which brings me to my first question (may be very, very stupid), are there and CAB files (it likes those ) that in effect, give you a different layout? eg. windows mobile 6.5 etc? I'm very tired of 6.1.
also, PLEASE someone tell me if there is a way (again, CAB file) to get the weather icon on the today screen? this may be a moot question if the above one has the answer i'm looking for
