Hello, I have HTC Orbit with WM6.1 russian menu, I want to re-install my smartphone to WM6.1 EN. Where I can get tutorial how to do it? and where I can get WM6.1 for my Orbit. Please help me! I readed more threads in this forum, but dont see info for orbit

I hope you know that the O2 XDA Orbit is not the same as the HTC P3600 Trinity. So you won't find a rom in the Trinity section.

I need WM5, which at installation CID version does not interest.
Someone has told to me, that it saw such version of WM5 and it was Polish.
i want to uprgade my "O2 XDA Orbit with WM6" to a German WM6 Version without any O2
Greetings, first iam german^^ so i read the threads around but i dont understand really who i can do it?
So what i have is an O2 XDA Orbit, i make an update from german WM5 to german WM6 with the original rom from O2.
But the O2 preferences sucks and i want a XDA without anything from O2, exspeciely because i have an Vodafone Sim pluged in.

And what does it means with the CID Check?

Simply download the official German O2 WM6 ROM update and run that, hard reset after flashing, then when it says "Customising in 3 seconds" or the German equivalent, soft reset.
You will have a non o2'd WM6 ROM
hi....can anyone give me the original english rom for xda orbit 2? i need to change the german language to english. and can you guide me how to do it step by step? i'm really bad with this technical stuff

I don't think that there is an official WM 6.1 for Polaris/Touch Cruise out there yet.

I had the official O2 WWE WM6.1 proffessional rom on my O2 XDA Orbit 2, but did not take a back-up, so have now lost it.
I can not find it anywhere, am slightly annoyed at myself as I thought the one on the forum was the 6.1 but it is the 6.0 version.

Look at the sticky threads on 'hard spl' as you'll need to use this first to unlock your phone.
Then use the English (WWE) polaris ROM of your choice from the many available via here.
