Cube Icons

Hi,
I am currently working on customizing my Cube to show my icons and programs.
I didn't want to overwrite the existing AL files, so I have put the custom files into: \My Documents\My Pictures\Cubeicons\Operamini_bottom.brn
but when I link to this in IconPath the cube is simply black at this icon?!
After one time usage, it shows the highlighted icon the whole time?!

To my knowledge, on the Nike (Dual) all icons have to be in \Windows\ - unless somebody has yet found a way of moving them and changing the default path? (please let me know if so!)
So, to solve your problem...
1. Copy your file into \Windows\, but call it something new so you don't have to overwrite any existing file.
2. Use the newest beta of Touch Settings (v2.12pre onwards) to change the icons - please see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=324556
.....if you want to change the MediaHub (3 app side) icons, at the moment you'll need to use the 'Advanced' tab and enter the full path manually.

I have managed to overwrite existing files, so I do have my icons.
but changing all the animation screens, is a lot of work!

rename the file as shellres.96.dll
and paste this file in ur \Windows folder in ur device
Ofcourse u have to make a backup of originall shellres.96.dll too

MORE ICONS ON THE WAY, I AM STILL DISCOVERING bout the icon changing thingi.
POST UR ICONS IN "PNG" with transparent background and in a multiple of 8 width and height that is 16x16, 24x24, 64x64, 128x128, 256x256.
so that i may get more time in modding rather in finding
GL all and happy modding. Atlast folder icon changing will work

Step 2, Changing the default folder icons
here are they
EDIT: the resource hacker is showing the folder icons in two pairs (16x16 and 32x32). If i am gonna replace one, the whole icon group gets changed. so uptill here no luck. will some body help me making a dll file with two icons (one for 16x16 and other for 32x32)

One small note,
the complete name of the file being replaced is shellres.96.dll.0409.mui
The reason I am making this comment is because depending on the rom (WWE or any other country ID), this might change. For instance, WWE is 0409, but I believe that German was 040C.
Other than that, good post. Let us know when you are able to change the system folders.

the mui exists there for localization thingi
I have used shellres.96.dll, the one i have pasted here and the screenshot is of my BA's. So I say authentic. I havent tried ur method since i am going fine
Now about the folders, the problem comes with pointing two icons in same icondump (i-e i need to have a file (like shell32.dll in windows for PC) which should only contain 32x32 folder icon (normal) and 16x16 icon (small). I dont know how to make such icon resource files. I have all PNG sets for my desired icons. I straight away convert them through an activeX based converter. Then THE PROBLEM IS ABOUT DUMPING TWO .ICO FILES IN ONE .ICO

change icon system

a good program is manilla customiser v0.8 which allows you to change separate elements of the TF3D interface (clocks, icons, curtains, sliders + a few other things). This program can be found here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=437420

I don't use the TF3D but I would still want to customize the folders icon (start menu/programs).
As it is now the only icons I have are the [games] and [office mobile] icons (icon.ink file). Ive tried to import the icon.ink file from my Glofiish X500+ but when I transfer them they don't work anymore...
Any suggestions?

i am useing SK Shortcut Manager to do this.

and the .lnk file doesn' t work if it is transferd to another device for a simple reason.the icon itself is stored in .dll file or in .exe file.you would have to transfer those files to.if you are interested PM me and i will upload my .dll files with icons.

To load theme, u have to copy manila files in principal folder to windows folder, and manila files in folder "TODOS" (inside touchflo icons folder) to windows folder.

Instructions
1.- (optional) Organize tabs with Advanced Config or TF3D config before loading theme.
2.- Install "CaptonTheme.cab"
3.- Select wallpaper manually

i have copy everything to windows paste but the wallpaper only shows at today screen.
the icons of TF3d was the same of the image in the top of this post, but the icon of start menu and battery doesn't different...

Amazing man. Very beautiful. Thanks. I would like one in Red color. Do you have some idea how to paint red ,most blue parts with photoshop? (I can extract from manila files the bmp with manila editor)

first of all, this is a sweet looking theme. but first a few questions. does this support all the extra tabs? does it support English? and is this CFC compressed?

English supported.

start icon and taskbar icons are not included, in version 1.2 i will add those icons.

where can i download the background 4 all tabs for digital clock?

Anyone knows which manila files are 3 icons?

Hi. I have changed almost every icon of manila. I cant find only 3. From the (extra) comunication tab , i cant find 1- bluetooth , 2-microsoft push , 3-eroplain (the first icon of the list). If anyone knows... Thanks ,

use one of the plethora of manila editing programs and just go through them...

I already use manila editor, but i dont know which manila file are those icons. I have paint red some icons ,and i miss the above 3. Look the screen ..

You might find these are PNG images in the Windows folder - not actually manilas

I solved the problem. It was manila files.
