normally, when we open the opera and rotate the HD to horizontal, the screen also will rotate, but i facing a problem with it now. once i rotate it, it will bring me back to the home screen, i tried many times, but it still can't rotate and bring me back to the home screen.
but, this problem can be solved after i do the softreset. after softreset, the problem will come back again after few days.i still can't figure out whether is my installed application crash or what.
anyone can help?

It is most likely that you installed a color top bar and you installed the wrong one (some play nice, while some don't). If that's the case, just go grab a different color top bar (almost all the new ones are fine, it was really only a problem with some of the early ones)

actually, mine colour topbar is downloaded from here also.
or maybe you just tell me the name of your topbar, i believe you can see the top bar name from the Remove Program there. Million thanks..

I dont know if anyone has tried or thought about it.....But what if the TF3d scroll bar went Vertical on the side of the screen? Almost like widgets on Samsung Omnia, but tf3d, since it looks and works a lot better. Anyone else think this would be cool.....B/c u could also see more tabs at once if it went Vertical
that would be cool never thought of that! I don't have capabilities to do that but i bet someone does. I also think though i would might have to be seperate app not tf3d because its so different, but you never know

I just wanted to show that it is possible...
Don't have time to do it proper right now...
Maybe I have some time to play with it tonight..
But if the vertical menu should be on the right side,
I have to move all buttons in tab's that are placed on the right side of the screen...
(mail, camera, music, People...)
I think It will be easier to make the menu on the left side...?

When I open Library from MUSIC WMP in HTC HD2 I see a list of songs. On the left side there is a vertical scroll-bar. Well.. it doesn't respond to slide/press events. It is visible but doesn't work for me. I must add that this vertical scroll bar - works fine in File Explorer, but not in WMP Library.
Does anyone have the same problem ?
I wrote to HTC Support and they suggested to do a HARD-Reset, but I doubt that it will help, because I've changed my ROM from 1.43 to 1.48 and this problem still persists.

I've had a look at the Library in WMP and can't find any scroll bar on the Left hand side, on my device its on the right. It also works perfectly for me.
Even if the scroll bar doesn't work however, you can still scroll through a list by sweeping your finger up or down on the middle of the screen to scroll.
It's unusual a software problem would translate from one ROM to another unless its language specific? Are you using WWE or one of the other language roms? If it isn't software, it could be hardware. Does that left part of your screen work OK with other apps in general? If not the sensors on the screen would be faulty and you could get a replacement.

Yeah I'm demanding because other people might be interested in this too, I don't know maybe it's not only my problem.
The Fact is: Scroll bar works in File Explorer and every other application.
In MUSIC Library it doesn't work, but it's visible and when I'm sweeping list by fingers that scroll also moves, but it doesn't respond to finger press/slide or etc. It doesn't work only in my Music Library. Oh my mistake it's on the Right side, yes. Does it work for you in Music Library ?

Now imagine that I have more then 1000 songs in my library... How many times will I sweep by finger in the middle of the screen ? Not convenient. And also I think if it's visible - then it should work. I can't relax if something is not working in my device

if your on the main homescreen (screen 3), it should have 2 dots in each bottom corner indicating 2 screens to the right and 2 to the left.
if i go into an app from screen 5 and then exit the app by pressing the home button, it takes me to screen 3 however i have 4 dots on the bottom left - which is obv wrong!

Same issue here, not so perfect phone now You'd think they'd test updates before rolling them out, saying that it is a minor thing but would be nice of them to sort it out as soon as possible and the Carrier | (pipe) issue too.
yeah i would think that they would catch something like that but i guess not. Some people are saying they are not experiencing the bug, mostly people that have received the update via OTA; then again others say they have. I still haven't updated figured i would wait for the OTA but i'm getting impatient..

I think everyone with the update has it. Doesn't bother me any; my screens are all different enough from each other that I can tell at a glance which one I'm on, so I never look at the dots.

Exactly, people need to relax.
fixxed by flashing this launcher.... i know it was to fix the fc's before the update but it works for this too (as i hoped)

Assume this requires root?
Did anyone just try pressing on one of the dots to switch screens, then going back? Mine had this when I first updated, but I did that, and haven't had it since (even after power down).

Have tried it and still have different dot count once in a while after using the launcher But not a problem for me right now.

that doesn't solve it mikeybags, you'll see if you try it with an app on another screen, open the app from the other screen then hit home, you'll see the dots dont go back to ".." ".."
You don't even have to move screens or press the dots to fix this...
Just hold the background and move half-way as if you're changing screens and let go.
Fixed.

Hey, I am using the TCPMP-0.72RC1-GF5500Edition-Alpha4, and i have also tried the original TCPMP-0.72RC1.. It works fine, but the 3 buttons play/pause, forward and stop is hidden next to the field "options". Only when i hit the buttons it appear fast, and then goes away again..

its like the color of the bottom is gone.. its all black.. so i can only see the mute button and File, Option, mutesound and volume...
I had the same problem...the problem is that the background color of the button is black color, same color of the default windows theme..
Try to change the windows theme color and you will see all the buttons..

I thought it was too ugly with that black bottom, so i made a fix for users with a black theme. Hope you like

Just saw the video, I have the exact same problem, but in the center of the screen... You could download pie controls and use it for the time being.

Oh man, I think I'll restore everything, lock the bootloader and take the tour, I think it ridiculous, the problem is in the phone hardware, factory, so it's their problem, what do I install or not install on my phone not change at all ... OK, here's a little story that just happened:
I enabled dt2w today. So I've been playing around for a while, browsing, watching videos and stuff. When in the play store I used the swipe gesture to open the menu and was surprised nothing happened. I tried several times, it just wouldn't work. Back on the home screen (info: I've set it so the screen rotates in all angles and the navbar is always on the bottom) I was in landscape mode and was surprised again because the navbar would not react. So I rotated to portrait and it worked.
So I launched the phone tester app and used the multi touch test to check my whole screen and found that to the left and right side there was a blind spot from top to bottom about 0,5cm in width.
When thinking what could have possibly caused this I disabled dt2w, locked the screen, unlocked it and used the multi touch teat again. Alas, the blank spots were gone!
I'm not sure if this is helpful for you though as you use the stock kernel.
