Which program is it who makes the battery status icon in the status bar green and show the strength in percent right in top of the icon?

May I kindly suggest you to SEARCH the forum because your specific question has been AMPLY DISCUSSED and answered before...
PS: You didn't read the MODERATOR ANNOUNCEMENT ?? Rules say you have to search and read before opening a new thread / posting. This helps to keep this forum as clean as possible

I am sure that gtrab didn't wanted to be rude, but the "please read posts before posting" and "please use the search button" is a basic rule in all forums. It's not about not wanting to help people, it's about keeping forums focused and easy to use.
This (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=424926) is what you where looking for.
Hope you will enjoy this forum!
Edit: P.S.: next time try to search with more words at one time, like "battery percentage" "battery icon", etc.
Don't feed the trolls!

Hello!
Could somebody please tell me how to hide the sreenrotation icon using regedit? Are there any websites listing regestry hacks?
Cheers,
helterSkelter
It sure would be great if questions were followed by a question mark...
As it is, a lot of postings seems like people offering solutions judging from the subject line, when they are in fact asking for help. It's confusing as well as time wasting, since it attracts the wrong readers to the threads...
Remove your rotate screen
-Use a registry editor and open:
-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINCE\Services\ScreenRotate
-Change ShowIcon from 1 to 0.
-Soft-reset
-Enjoy

This is my little CAB file which i run when doing a clean install (after hard reset)
Thanks a lot for the help danr and ampda!
HBK: your post was a bit out of place, cos if 'the wrong readers' were 'looking for a solution' they would of found it here anyway. Questionmark or not.
No, it wasn't out of place, and it has been mentioned a gazillion times before, as all regulars know.
Some people have more time than others. Quite a few of us have to skip the threads, where the subject line doesn't have an immediate appeal. That's actually why we have the subject lines in the first place. That's just a fact of life, and it goes for all message boards, not just this one.
This thread has right now had 141 reads and 2 replies to your question. What does that tell you?

I doubt it would be any different if I had added a question mark and I still think the title of the topic is fitting.

Have you read the thread titled: 'Please read this before posting'? Amongst other things, it contains this text...
2. Use a clear subject
So you're going to post a message, and need to think of a subject. Try to keep in mind that many people actually use that subject to determine whether they will even look at your message.

What's the deal with the forum? It's sorting topics by name by default and we're missing countless pages of threads.
Edit:
Is something wrong with my cache or is it the forum? Every time I load it up, it shows the settings below as "from the last day" and by title in ascending order.
What a ingenious topic you chose! Who would want topics like "problematic thread ordering" in the "About xda-developers.com" forum?
Idiot!

So quick to get your panties in a bunch! Easy there Chatty Cathie. I think you're just jealous because I'm beautiful and you're not. Maybe you just need a make over, that will help your confidence. Order yourself a tastey foo-foo drink in the meantime.
Honestly the title could have been better developed. I can't change it now. Also this is the only forum on the site that I use so I wasn't aware if this is a problem with others too. I assumed it was just this one.
Just click on the column title "Last post" and it will reorder it properly

I guess that is not what Nicnatros means.
If you choose "Last Post" you'll see the last posts in every (sub)forum.
But formerly when you browsed to the wizard forum you would get numerous pages with the first (few) pages unread post, en thereafter the posts which were allready read.
So that would be a kind of lasts post in that (sub)forum
Althought Nicnatros did not choose the title very carefully, I think it really is a bug, and would really appreciate if it could be turned back to the old way
Hello.
This is a question for the moderators.
I noticed that I can't find my posts from the Wizard->Wizard forum Discussions. The posts are relatively new.
The threads appear when I search for them and they are marked like they belond to the "Wizard" Discussions ,but I can't see them in the when I navigate the usual way.
Some examples are :
-Post your Battery mA consumption. This may help solve battery problems...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=298682
-Predictive text in hardware keyboard (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=296459)
The posts are there, but are hidden from public eye.
I think the "Post your Battery mA consumption" thread is usefull to some users.
Is there any reason for this? Or is something in the forum rules that I did not understand?
Thanks for the great job you're doing keeping the forum
I've also noticed. it seems that only the last days posts are active...
at the bottom of the page there are settings to display posts from a certain time. I think by default they are set to "last day"
Go here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/profile.php?do=editoptions
change "default thread age cut off" to whatever you like.
thanks, i never noticed that. i wonder why all the other threads are different by default
Thanks supercbuk.
I guess this was it..
I was using the "Default forum setting"
Maybe the default setting should change from the moderators .
A lot of information is being lost thatway and a lot of people might ask the same questions again.
I have accidently hidden all the rows and nothing is showing. I tried to uninstall and re-install. I tried soft resets. There is no way to get to the options screen to even change the skin. How do I get to the options screen?

I guess you didn't rerad forum rules, did you? This is no place for random questions. Please post this question in apropriate forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=456
I can help you once it's there. Every extra random tread here makes really useful stuff much harder to find.
[EDIT]
damn, you were faster, HRQ. But since we do have Q&A section now, please don't encourage people to post questions here by answering them. I know more people reads this section, and i know someone might just need a "quick answer" but such treads really make forum navigation much harder.

Mea Culpa

But you are quite righ!
Well, I've been checking the forum everyday. Sometimes I post a thread and it is really difficult to find it afterwards. Does the forum have some kind of notifications when others reply your post?

Kind sir,
The forum does have a "subscribe to thread" option which can be accessed by clicking the "subscribe to thread' button located at the top of each thread near the page results navigator. Therein you can choose to be notified instantly, daily or weekly, as threads are replied to. A link to the reply will be included in the e-mail.
A second option is for you to click on your name after the 'Welcome' at the top of the page. If you click on the tab "statistics" you will be able to view all posted made by you in any thread, and clicking on that post will take you to the thread.
Hope this helps!
