Anyone have any sources..
I tried Verizon.. I tried emailing HTC..
No luck so far..
Thanks,

Hi!
i'm new here, but try e-bay. you might have some luck there!
Go Luck!
Do a Google search for 6700 battery. Several battery vendors sell covers.
I got mine from this guy on ebay here. It was brand new as advertised. Shipping took about 4 days to California. Good luck!
Since you need a new one anyways, you shoudl look into getting an extended battery cover.
Seidio has some great accessories for the Apache

you think you got one? what would you ahve gotten if it isn't? And it's much cheaper on ebay or amazon.
Just buy a new battery...
Most of the batteries I have seen on ebay come with battery covers... just check that it comes with one and order a new battery as it will cost almost as must for the cover by itself if you factor in shipping...
battery cover
hey, mine cracked a while back, and if you have insurance, you can go into a verizon store and they'll give you a new one for free.
I tried to order one from Cellguru.com but they're out of stock and don't seem to have any indication of when they'll be back in stock. Does anybody know of a reliable vendor for the OEM battery?
Thanks!

Tessco, Superior, Expansys.
The first 2 are the distributors for AT&T. Or you could call HTC.

Here is a cheap one: Dealextreme
The one at DealExtreme isn't OEM, just a generic battery. You can tell by the label: the original batteries have the "HTC Innovation" text parallel to the long edge, while the generic batteries have the text parallel to the short edge.
But the generic batteries seem to be pretty good. Also check eBay, several sellers are selling packs of 2 generic batteries + external charger for about $20. However, beware: the generic batteries apparently don't work well with CDMA Touch Pro (Sprint/Verizon) for some reason.
Thanks for the pointers. I appreciate the help.
check ebay.
theres a seller located in texas that i just bought from for like $15. havent received it yet tho.
I got my OEM battery from www.everythinghtc.com.
I was thinking of purchasing additional batteries, seeing that the retail price of the batteries are very high I was wondering if OEM replacement on eBay (< $5) would do the job. What do you guys think?
Could a mod move this to the accessories forum...? I posted in the wrong one...

I dont think so. In the ebay auction that everyone one is raving about it clearly states that they are NOT original batteries. This guy says they are 100% OEM originals. Which is why i wanted it. I didn't want to have a tiawanese copy in my phone.

but that is what i'm saying
that battery shown in the picture is EXACTLY the same batteries included in that package that says "not original" batteries
i'm using them, they last as long as the "original" battery.
as far as i'm concerned they are all original, the packaging of the battery and markings confirms it's authentic G7 from Samsung, although these was obviously manufacture before for the older devices.
If the ebay seller says they are not original OEM batterys they are copies. Im not saying that copies cannot be a good thing but i would much rather buy a orignal battery for a few bucks more than to take a risk with a copy. Counterfitting is HUGE out of HK and who knows what kind of QC they have on thier products. The extra $10 is worth the peice of mind to me.

Clearly you have never seen the Sandisk SD cards which say "sandisk" and come in the same packaging. The battery markings mean NOTHING, and are easy to forge.. Generally though if an item is MUCH cheaper than the official RRP, it's either stolen, or fake. When I worked in sales at an Apple reseller, we used to get emails all the time from companies in HK which wanted to offer us hundreds of batteries and such for VERY cheap.
The fact he is selling so many, different brand batteries in bulk (all "genuine"), and so many third party accessories for me is a red flag. But the even bigger red flag, is that he is selling genuine Apple ones, and Apple don't even provide iPod batteries to 3rd party dealers.. You certainly can't ask Apple for some genuine Apple batteries (if you don't believe me, run down to your local Applecentre, and ask for a new battery for an iPod). At least here in Australia, they don't hand them out. Sorry, but everything I've seen in my experience suggests these are fakes.. I could be wrong though (but the fact he is giving them to you in bulk, means they cost him barely anything).
Whatever happens, I'm just going to buy that nice extra battery pack casing. Just to be sure. L
I bought a 100% original battery from a samsung dealer here in mumbai. He told me he had to source it from a service center as original accessories like these have not been launched "officially" by samsung.
Cost me 1200 indian rupees = $26
6 month warranty by Samsung. And the thing works just like a charm !!
it's a FAKE battery, the Genuine ones have a different markings specially where it says G7
i'm using those FAKE batteries, although they might be very good replicas of the old G7 batteries, they are not real
but performance wise, they work just as good as the OEM (originals) from Samsung
you will be better off buying this instead
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733705
same price for 2 + way more stuff
At least this guy is honest, and say clearly NOT REAL
there we go i made topic just for you guys
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=7953322
If you get SGS batteries on ebay, you are best off getting 3rd party batteries, rather than branded fakes.
Because branded fakes simply are designed to fool the buyer long enough into thinking they are real. This means good enough capacity, and good enough external build quality. They aren't designed for quality
Hi, where I can find a original replacement battery door for the DEFY? I've looked through hundreds of ads in Ebay , but I can't find the original back cover anywhere. Does anyone know where I can buy one? Motorola do sell them via
store.motorola.com but it's only for American customers, they don't ship to my country
thanks
Any suggestions?
ebay. did u try it?

Thanks for the suggestions, i dont trust any of the sellers on ebay actually sell oem, I ordered a full housing w/o digitizer from cnn.cn
OMG...
you have sellers feedback. if its above 99%, u dont have to worry about it
cickvoa has right.
If you see a seller with high rating or even Power Seller status, you have nothing to worry about. I have ordered housings, cables, even a laptop processor from different sellers and I never had any issue

my port is failing my in my V20,
If Zerolemon had an external charger for this battery, I would buy a second battery and external charger and swap as needed.
They do not seem to make them,
has anyone found any external charger a V20 zerolemon will fit in? would it charge fully?
There are a few generic external chargers on amazon that look like they may fit one.

I have 2 zerolemon batteries on rotation all the time. I bought the extra cradle and battery from Amazon and zerolemon battery also fits! It sticks out obviously but it does the job
did you get a generic cradle? would you possibly be able to point me to the correct 1 so I do not purchase a cradle that will not fit?
I Really appreciate it!.
