On the home page, next to the telephone graphic is an exclamation as if there's a missed call. I have deleted all calls, taken battery and SIM out and it's still there!!
If it says "Call History" next to it, then don't worry. Thats the icon they use for the call history, whether you have missed call or not. Maybe its time to read the manual.

Hi,
maybe i´m too stupid, but how can i determine the time of day of a missed call in the call history ???
Second question, in which file (or registry keys) is the call history stored ?
Bye, Pyro
In the call history just press once on a call, you will get:
time, date and duration
Thanx for your fast response...
The only thing i can say is: I am stupid
I tried tapping the line a call is in once, but i tapped the icon and not the text. If you press the icon you will enable a call...
Some things are so easy, if you know them.
Bye, Pyro
Yep thats correct
No problem at all!
When I check my call history, it shows the time of call for all the calls received today but only the date for the calls received on previous days. Is there any way to get the time to display on those?
If you just tap the entry on the call log screen, a subtext menu will pop up with the call details - i.e. time, date, and duration of the call. I'm do not believe there's any way to make it display both time and date without tapping the touch screen once.
Hope this helps!
When I hit the phone, and want to dial number, in the bottom left corner there is an icon to switch between normal and camera call. Now I see that over that icon there is text "Call Hi..." and when I hit the icon for camera call, call history appears... How to remove this text ?
It's because you've installed the faulty slider hotfix from HTC. Have a read here to fix it.
thanks a lot...
i have a notification on the lock screen that i cannot clear. when i slide the icon that looks like a phone open, it brings up the phone app. i've cleared all missed calls but that notification stays on. any idea how do i get rid of it?
Have you tried calling yourself and missing the call then clearing that notification........
yes i have, it isnt a missed call notification. the missed call notification is a different icon. it kinda looks like a voice mail icon but there's no voice mail feature that i can find.
try dialling the generic voicemail number for your network and see if there's anything in your mailbox. Or maybe try restarting manila......

Click to collapse
you are right, that is the voice mail icon. what do you mean no voice mail feature (meaning you don't have voicemail?)
the phone will be receiving the voice mail signal from the carrier, you need to dial your voicemail number too find the message, the number will either be in your contacts under voicemail or it will be in the guide that came with your sim card( or phone if bundled).
I cant see your carrier/country so I cant tell you what the number is.
i deactivated the voice mail feature with my carrier so i do not have voice mail. no idea how it came about.
i think it came about when i was overseas using a prepaid sim card. now i'm back home and no longer using the prepaid sim card, but the notification is still there. any way to remove it manually?
Hi,
Is it possible to add a profile image to the Android voicemail contact that appears in the phone call history when you touch a voicemail entry in the notification pull down?
I've spent quite a bit of time collecting images for all my contacts and, though I know it isn't a bug in Android, it bother me to see the blank voicemail profile image among the phone call history items. Touching those history items does pull up a contact entry for voicemail but there doesn't seem to be a way to edit it. Is there something that I'm overlooking or is it just not possible yet to do so?
I have the same Problem.
I want to put in an Image which contains all the tone dail numbers of my Voicemail.
It's so disgusting to wait for the woman's voice who says "for ... press 1, for ... press 2" etc.
I'll hope there will be a possibility
