I was thinking of an application that sounds an alarm when the device is being moved and the g-sensor is spotting this. This could be interesting as a theft alarm.
Hello Talismaniak

Hi!
I need an AIM client for my XDA! It should be freeware without one of these silly registrations like eqo.com has it!
Thanks and greetings,
Nico

Post your generic software questions to the General forum next time to receive (more) answers.
Also read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=295677 , it answers all your q's.

You have not searched have you. Here is a hint.
1
Go to the Search XDA using Google sticky near the top of the messages listing
2
enter: GPS Hermes in the box (tricky I know)
3
Click Google Search (oooooh painful I grant you)
Top of the results comes guess what - yes a 71 page thread on the issue.
As you are new to the forum we are gently sarcastic Please forgive us, but please also use the search facilities. Some things can be difficult to find. This one was simplicity itself.
Mike
You beat me to it.
Anyway the answer is no.

No Wonder you received 71 pages of posts. Isn't it stupid to use as a search keyword "hermes"? It is in every post in Hermes section, isn't it?
Thanks for help anyway!
Best regards,
Gord!

Hi Gord
Those 71 pages are all in one thread!!
By the way, the reason for putting "Hermes" in the google search is to limit the search to that device, otherwise it would find all the GPS pages in XDA-Dev for all devices.
Sorry it's bad news about the GPS.
Mike
Its got a gps chip in it however it doesn't have the external aerial for it....
Bluetooth gps are only about 40USD and work fantastically.. Look for the Holux m1000, I use it on mine and it works amazingly!
Anyone noe a way to get more sliding sounds or a how to guide on how to put these sounds in a titan/mogul?

Being a forum it would be beneficial if you posted what you found. That way if anyone else is searching and stumbles upon it they will find an answer without having to create another thread.
I got the how to from here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-319300.html

thanks both of you, but I already checked SSMaPa, but until now and according to what I understood, no one has been able to do it yet!!
That is in the Diamond group, not sure SSMaPa works on the Blackstone. anyone tried it? It would certainly be useful.

I think I can say something similar, like: the ones who make a recommendation should check if is useful or not, even more after the sarcasm.
but thanks for the advice anyway, I will keep it in mind for my future posts!!

what?
when you ask for help on a forum you should tell people what the problem is and what steps you have taken to resolve it. i thought that was just common courtesy.
how can anyone know that you already tried the suggested solution, SSMaPa?
i know it's a useful suggestion because that's what i personally used SSMaPa for - change default apps launched by TouchFLO 3D
sorry if i didn't know that it wouldn't change the mail app. hey it's free advice, you get what you pay for.
it would be great of someone could write an app which uses the gsensor to launch several user defined shortcuts.
for example: if i would want to to launch my navigation, i would simply shake the device, and for my calender i would rollover the device.
I would really appreciate any effort in a program like this.
I'm pretty sure something like this just came out. I know I saw it yesterday.
I looked through the sites I'm commonly on, and didnt find it. I'm sure I saw a video and cab for one!
Sorry to be of no help.
Keep looking!
Found it! I searched 1800pocketpc.com, and found a link to a thread here on XDA.
Enjoy!
