activecync 4.5 with xp 64-bit problem

Hi i have problem with synchronization on xp 64-bit sp2. I instaled framework 3.0 a try update window. Activesync find athena normaly, but when i put thena to bootloader mode a connect it shows some usb device, but no driver. cant unlock my device, cant flash. please help. Work someone on xp 64-bit with athena?
XP64
Hiya,
I used to have xp64 and my device would connect fine. However the initial unlock I did from a standard xp machine. I am now on Vista 32 and must say that xpx64 is no where near as stable and forgiving as Vista 32 is with the Athena. My advice is to get off XPx64. I run a music studio and swore by XPx64 until one day I thought "oh sod it!". I'll never go back.
Vista SP1 is fantastic.
and vista 64?
And you tried vista 64? It is better? Can unlock athena on it. Xp 64-bit hahe pure driver and i think that it will not bettet in future. But vista 64 is more popular and it can be better. But I dont know any idea about working vista 64 and athena. Any happy users on vista 64 system?
and vista 64?
How It is under this system?
Vista64 WMDC Doesn't work for me
While my X7500 will connect with my WMDC on Vista64 Utlimate, and I can transfer files between the two machines, it will not sync anything.

USPL/HSPL & Windows 7

I've found this instruction:
http://www.modaco.com/content/windo...u-on-vista-it-can-be-done-the-ultimate-guide/
but it is 2 years old!
do you have new HTC drivers under Windows 7 which work with USPL 2.5?
now my WMDC works great but USPL 2.5 shows: "no response from device"

are you running on x64 Windows 7?
if so, you need to disable signature driver enforcement check, at the bootup.
not yet. it's 32bit. I'm waiting for my Sony OEM Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
but I'm asking for the newest drivers that will work with my Windows 7 WMDC and with USPL 2.5...
I'm afraid that these drivers are out of date or simply, not work OK with my Windows 7
Am I wrong?
Have you even tried?
Have you read the wiki on using USPL with Windows Vista/7?
Hi
i have win 7 32bit too and you can install the drivers like Vista. It is the same way.

1. No, I haven't. Because I can't understand how 2 years old drivers can work better with Windows 7 than original Windows 7 drivers?
2. Yes, I have. If old drivers from point 1. won't mess my Windows 7 I can try. But I don't want to reinstall my operating system because I experiment with some old HTC drivers...
Anyone have good or bad experience with that old drivers under Windows 7? Do they work fine with USPL and with Wintows 7 WMDC?

Thay work FINE under Windows 7 32bit Pro No Problem easy install the same like Vista.
OK, I've replaced USB drivers.
But I used this version of wceusbsh.inf instead of wiki's.
My version of USB driver is:
4.5.5086.0
and wiki version is:
4.0.4232.0
So it is a big difference, I think.
I can confirm that on version 4.5.5086 WMDC and USPL work fine...
I used Win7 64bit Ultimate edition + HSPLWrapper_Blackstone_156OliNex.zip and it worked all great via Mobile Center.

Win7 x64

I'm running Windows 7 x64 on my laptop. Connections to HTC Touch HD...
- I do not use ActiveSync
- Internet Sharing works
- Disk Drive hangs.
I want to browse my HTC Touch HD using Windows x64. Does it need drivers ?
Didn't need any drivers for mine. Just plugged it in and it installed everything it needed itself. Worked on both my laptop and desktop.
Also running Windows 7 (Pro) x64.
Cheers
Dazza
works fine for me
everything works fine
syncs on my 64 bit win7
