Ok, 1 stupid question. My radio version is 02.93.90.
I want to upgrade to a newer version, but I don't know which version to choose from. So I hope somebody would point me where i could find the newest radio version. I searched wiki and there is elf radio versions but when i click on the newest ones, I get into xda forum thread which says that radio version is for elfin.
Thanks for your help!
latest radio is 03.39.90

For those who would like to update only Radio ROM, without affecting any other parts of ROM.
This is version 02.30.21 from official QTEK ROM.
IPL, SPL and other parts are not affected. This radio ROM is good for G3 and G4 DOCs.
Small instruction is in ARChive.
Tested on Prophet S200, G4.

Hi Fdp24, I tryed several times to open the link you posted but do not work. Could you please reload again. Can you tell us about the improvement? Thnak you in advance from Spain.
Already on FTP!
Isn't that the same one already in ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads?
There are two files there:
PDAMobiz_Prophet_G3_RadioRom_v2.30.21.exe
PDAMobiz_Prophet_G4_RadioRom_v2.30.21.exe
Choose the right one for your Prophet. The G3 file would be for Prophets with SPL 2.XX.0000 and G4 for SPL 2.xx.0001.

Exactly where do you find these numbers and what do they mean? Is it a hardware difference related to build date?
i can confirm this works, updating from: RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship
cheers, mate!
tanks it's works !!!! same meesterlars
i take the version in rapidshare it's g3 or g4 ?
and the difference with old rom ?
As mentioned above this is not pdamobiz. I can not comment their pack because don't know what they did.
The one you see in this subject is for G3 and G4 DOC. Does not matter which one you have. It is recent Qtek radio rom.
Why only radio rom?
This could be usefull if you would like to update only radio stack, without touching the rest on your device and it is safe, because IPL and SPL are not affected.

I guess your question is about G3 and G4. I will not repeat, will just post a link (the first one I found) :

re: of course i've tested on my device before posting it
don't see any problems so far.
qtek s200, g4

SPL is the bootloader. You see the version when you "reboot" either through soft-reset or power-off and -on. I didn't try the package from Qtek but as fdp24 says it is more convenient to use as it applies to both flash-types.
Hi There
This might be a stupid question, but does this radio upgrade delete everything on the S200??, or does it only replace/delete the radio part of the rom, and I keep everything as it is, so I don't need to install all of my apps again??
Regards
S-E
Why two topics on one forum?
The radio thread is already running in the Prophet Upgrading section.
You can find it HERE.
You can also find your answers about completely cleaning your device or not after updating radio ROM's

I ran G4 on my Prophet, then ran G3 when I discovered that my bootloader 0000 was supposed to have G3. Anyway, both times the installation went through without a problem. No hard reset is neccessary and you keep all of your installed programs and data. A word to the wise, I always do a backup before installing anything that is even slightly homemade.

will do. i've noticed no difference at all, to be honest. as long as it's no worse, a bigger number can only mean improvements in some department.
i'm keeping it.
ps: thanks again for the upload

Hey guys just wondering which one is the best phone radio out there
03.18.90 is the most recent to my knowledge. Get it Here! =)
im confused, i looked at my radio version on my phone and it says 03.21.90...does that mean that my version is newer than the version in the above post?
Hi -
I've had my HTD HD2 a few days now and want to upgrade to an official ROM which will hopefully sort out a few minor instability problems that it has at the moment, and more importantly battery life issues.
The current ROM version is 1.43.405.1 (70124) WWE.
Firstly could someone please advise me which ROM version I should upgrade to? On the European HTC site the latest is 1.48.405.2 but apparently there is a 2.02 out too?
Also, could someone advise me where I should download the ROM from? I can't use the HTC official site as my serial number is blocked due to Vodafone only allowing ROM upgrades through them. I've found this link from this site http://www.4shared.com/dir/22189940/b8552fa0/Shipped_Leo_ROMs.html but am not sure if i'm looking at the correct thing?
Finally, could you please tell me which guide I should follow? I was thinking this one... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=591314
Thanks in advance for your help
1.48 is the official HTC one so I'd say give that a go first...
Best guide is the one for n00bs as it tells you how to install HSPL as well which makes life SO much easier (apparently, still on 1.48 myself)...have a good read and go from there...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477
1.48/1.61 are the latest official roms.
2.01 and 2.02 are unofficial leaked ones.
Stick with 1.61 or 1.48 for stock. You can then always flash a new radio too.
Install HSPL, then put the ROM image you pick on an sdcard as LEOIMG.nbh. Or install via activesync.
Thanks for both the replies. Sorry could you clarify which is the latest official? 1.61 or 1.48?
I thought I need to use a gold to upgrade? Would the guide you linked to, EddyOS still be okay? Because it does not mention the gold car in it anywhere, wheras the one here does...
And finally, could you explain what HSPL is and how it would be beneficial?
Thank you!
bump.. any help is appreciated. thanks
These are questions best asked and answered in the ROM Development section, not here in General., but briefly, HSPL will let you flash any rom from any region, including cooked roms. Goldcard will let you flash OFFICIAL roms from any region, but unless you already have a goldcard, you will have trouble making one, as the free goldcard generator went offline a few days ago.
Having HSPL on your device will probably be enough of an excuse for your supplier to not support your warranty, though you can uninstal HSPL if needed.
Go read the Rom development section over and over and over again is the best advice.
1.61 is the latest official ROM, but it is localised only for WWE and Turkish.
Yes, and HSPL will let you recover from a bad flash too.

I was just wondering if i can update the radio software/firmware on my phone to a newer one without having to install a newer rom and if i can what is the best version for use with O2-UK. Is there also a chance it may solve the sms not being recieved issue?
I currently have 2.07 radio installed (came installed on the phone from new) and i have seen mentions of 2.10 and 2.11 radio. I've also see in the last few days somone saying they use the taiwan radio for the uk to give better signal strangth. How does that work?
Yes, it can be done...dont know the tread but will see if I can find it!
Here you have the info...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4798017&postcount=1
OK cool and thanks cfds. Now next question, whats the best version of the radio to use for O2-UK?
Hello,
I have a question. In order to use that Custom RUU to flash a new radio do I have to install HSPL or I just use it without other modifications to my phone?
Thank you!
That's a good question actually, I hadn't thought of that.

You may have a look into the related Radio thread in the HD2 ROM Development section:

Installing:
For installing a RADIO ROM you need HardSPL installed to your device.
Rename the extracted file to "RUU_Signed.nbh" and flash with the CustomRUU: it won't hardreset your device.

Where did you get that radio from? I looked in the radio thread and the newest one i could see there was 2.10.50.08_2. Also did you install the newest rilphone.dll when you flashed your radio? That also begs the question what is the newest version of that file?

Hmmm maybe it was a typo....
And it's true, the latest radio (in my case 2.10.50.08_2) works brilliantly with my O2 sim. Also, when you select a network (I use Energy's roms) Select O2 PrePay. Those are the correct settings

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=669042 and no i never messed with rilphone.dll as i read it was best to leave that alone.
Thanks for the link. I've installed 1.42.hspl and the radio from the link provided so lets see what happens.
there are also 2.10.50.26_2 & 2.10.50.28_2 raidios all off them work ok on o2 but i have found 2.10.50.19_2 the best signal in my area of the uk.
this does seem to have improved my signal but if i walk round the corner from the flat to a mates house i couldn't get a 3G signal at all so we will see if this helps
