I just wanted to give you a first impression of my first skin for WA/WAD, based on pictures about the new Meizu M8. It's not finished, because 've so many things to learn, e.g. how to skin the dialer, PocketCM...

i was seriously gonna come here tonite and see if anyone had done, or was going to do an M8 skin or just make the icons. i admire some of the slick look and functionality of the iPhone, but i didnt want to just put an exact clone on my phone and have people thinking i wished i had an iPhone instead. i will definetly keep an eye on this thread.

Here's a little update, i changed some buttons on the titlebar and removed the title-text. After pressing the icon for Music another menu will appear.
Some questions:
1. How can i export the themes for WA and WAD to share them?
2. Who can help me in skinning the standard WM6 dialer?
3. Who can help me in skinning PocketCM?

This is a work in progress, from what I've read its almost halfway completed. It looks to be like a very smooth and slick interface for winmo devices, designed with the iPhone's interface in mind. There is one spot open for a beta tester if you know what software he is using to make this. Hopefully we can get someone in that beta tester spot so we can get a little insider scoop!

Welcome to my learningperiod with wad2. It's old but yet to be completed. If sombody want this I will complete it. This was my first attempt (...mainly using others grfx for a speedier learningcurve) and in the next days I will be releasing several other skins. They look better and there I've done all the gfx myself.

I was going to say that the iPhone and HTC icons are getting old and new/unique icons should be used instead. On that note, you're already on your way by using your own graphics in your next releases!
One suggestion is to keep it simple and clean like the screenshots. The white space works well as the icons aren't cluttering the whole screen.
