Help, no mms option - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro General

Hi there guys, i have read a lot before posting this.
I'm tring to activate my mms but in all guides there comes a time when they ask me go to start->messaging->menu->mms configuration. Well i simply just don't have that option "mms configuration" in the menu.
I only have the option "options" that has nothing to do with mms.
Help me please.

Wizard MMS problem...

I have flashed my Wizard to T-Mobile 2.26 ROM following this tutorial and everything works fine, but I have problem that I can't configure MMS account, nor can I change or delete T-Mobile's one.
When I go to Messages>Tools>Options>MMS>Servers, the option for adding a new server is disabled, there is only T-Mobile MMS server and I can't change it. Is there any possibility to fix this and to configure MMS...
I've searched the forum but couldn't find anything...
Any tips would be appreciated... Thanks in advance
?
Anyone??? Is this fixable in registry? Thanks!

[SOLVED] Problem with Manila?

Hi guys,
I hope this is the correct forum for my question:
I've got a weird problem with my own cooked roms:
If I use Manila, and go to Settings tab -> try to go to 'all settings', it shows my Connections-screen (with My ISP on it etc).
Now I cannot reach the rest of the Settings.
Can somebody help me?
I've tried lots of things, but I can't seem to fix it.

You want this registry key (if you're using 6.5):
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila]
"IsWM6.5"=dword:1

This is my suggestion:
1. Goto the Ext Manila_core_2_5_xxxxxx and open the app.reg inside the "0409" folder.
Edit the following registry to be like this:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo]
"HideSettings"=dword:0
This will enable the WM6.5 settings icon in the start menu
2. Goto the EXT Settings_Improvement_x_x_xxxxxxxx and open the app.reg.
Edit the following registry to be like this:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo]
"HideSettings"=dword:0
It will do the same as above
3. Inside Settings_Improvement_x_x_xxxxxxxx open the "files"folder and delete the "settings.lnk"
This will delete the HTC settings icon that sends you to the Settings Tab, which IMHO is stupid.
Cook your Rom and flash it again.
Hope it Helps
Thanks guys, I'll try this tonight.
Thanks, it worked!

[Q] Process com.android mms failed

After installing CM2.2.1 (last 2 updates) I find when I try to send a MMS I get sorry process com.android mms has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Then its a forced closed?
I have checked the forum for similar thinking it may be a bug, but don't seem to be any.
Any help in solving this would be appreciated as I need the mms to work.
Just to add in Quick setting aplication it shows mobile data as no apn configured? But in Wireless Network - mobile networks it's there, I have checked the apn settings and they are right.????
Normaly in apn settings you have to click it to activate
Sent from my GT540 using XDA App

Where would you activate it the only choices in menu are delete apn, save or discard? I had saved the settings after filling it out.
Have just seen on Russian site Quarx has a update.zip fix for MMS not working. Unfortunatly I am not able to download, will have to wait and hope it comes to this site.
Forget this thread as my mobile has bricked after trying to correct mms problem via my mobile server.
any updates on this? my mms crashes

[Q] MMS problem

Hi!
I have the following problem: I can't receive MMSs. I have MMS APN in my device, but it is somehow locked for editing. In the messages appears a thread with a Download button, but when I press it, a text appears saying that the download is unsuccessful. Can this be caused by the ROM I am using or it is something else?
BTW the ROM is Modaco custom Froyo ROM R7.

I have not experienced this problem but someone over at modaco experienced an issue similar, see copied text below, link here :http://android.modaco.com/content-p...-froyo-rom-download-online-kitchen/page/1420/ post 443
It's APN setting. Check "authentication type" for MMS APN, it has to be set to PAP - and there you go.
(If it's not editable - I've figured out a workaround: just create a new APN, with any name, to 'mms' APN (second line in config), set authentication type to PAP. Save it. If ypu check the original MMS APN settings, it has changed also to PAP as auth. type... Now you can delete the one you've just created, MMS will work You're welcome.)

did you check your mms options served by your service provider ?do you have them correctly? if you don't have them you should get them from ur service provider or setup manually.i think you can find more information at the web site of ur service provider

ROMs dont include radio. this has nothing to do with the radio, a fix was posted in the nightly thread i think, something about default apn settings.

What points may i do before recovering from clockworkmod\backup\xxxxx-xx-xx-xx:
- wipe data/factory
- wipe cache partition
- partition menu -> format system
- partition menu -> format data
- partition menu -> format cache
- advanced -> wipe dalvik cache
If u have two apn settings, one for data and o e for mms, check the first one. Go down and check apn type. If it says default, mms in the box delete the word mms. Works for me.
