Opera is displaying weird characters?

I've just installed the new Qtek NL rom,that;s why i had to install opera browser again. On my old rom (Imate WWE) Opera wmppc5_85b2 worked perfect. Now Opera wmppc5_85b installs but when i start it, i get weird characters on the buttons and in the adress field: see picture below. Is opera not compatible with any other rom than WWE?

EDIT: ok i solved this problem. If anyone else runs into this: just copy ¨arial.ttf¨ from your PC to the ¨windows¨ directory on your wizard, soft-reset and Opera works fine.

Thanks, I had this problem after upgrading to my Cingular 8125 with "Cingular_RUU_WIZARD_217_AKU22_Basic.exe" and this workaround fixed it for me!

Just noticed this at the bottom of their home page:
"The final version of eXPerience, version 2.09, is not compatible with Windows Mobile 2005."
A shame, as I would have liked to try it out myself...

Use wisbar desktop advance, you can do that with a lot more styles!!

MobileConfig

I've written a little utility to help novice users make registry hacks. Its written for WM Smartphone (no touchscreen functions work) using the .Net CF and only tested on the Blackjack, 8125, and PPC6700 but it should work on most Windows Mobile devices (reg values may have to be adjusted)....anway, you can download it http://www.infinityball.com/Article.aspx?ArticleID=134. I should have the source code posted on my site in the next few days, so if anybody wants to make the touchscreen work better they can have at it.

This is a PocketPC version of SMS Chat for Smartphones.
i havent been able to test this thoroughly because i dont have an actual PPC unit. i only tested this (which ran) on my emulator.

Besides that and the warning when installing that "this software is intended for an eearlier version of Windows Mobile", it runs great on a Universal running WM6 v1.1 by Helmi

Using Diamond as a windows-app-launcher?

Hi
I found several things about using the Diamond with a windows pc (e.g. diamond as webcam)
Just a crazy idea: Is it possible to use the Diamond to launch apps on my windows system?
Just thought about something like "Objectdock" oder "Rocketdock" (as a fullscreen app during a ActiveSync-Connection).
If you know anything about the possibilites or a solution for that I would be pleased
Edit: I just thought about it months ago. There was only different - I wanted to use a real touchscreen display with 8" and often is used in car-pcs.

Great Idea! I know some apps like that from my apple-devices but for windows mobile it would be much better (customization and so on )
