Hi,
I have recently updated to M2D ( excellent rom )on my xda, but I cannot get tomtom to install - I had it running on my previous rom ( lite black&blue ).
The bar comes up with installing but does not move and the windows busy circle is contantly active - it does not switch over to the where do you want to install screen - I have even left the phone overnight - still the same screen in the morning.
I have tried a number of different versions of the M2D and also TomTom 5 , 6, 6.*** and 7 - all with the same result.
Any assistance would be appreciated
Cheers
Neil

I upgraded to Crossbow (first time upgraded ROM - very easy) And its great, some noticable speed impovements, especially tomtom6. I have just one question - There used to be an icon next to the comms manager for rotating the screen - sadly no longer there - can someone advise the applications name, and possibly where i can find it (would settle for the name )
Thansk in advance
Jon
I also updated, but TomTom6 is not working anymore.

What version of TT are you using?
6.00
worked a trat, no need for the gps hotfix - resolved the screen flip as well. Faultless installation. Just remenebr you have to have the phone switched on for tomtom to work

i'm currently using wm6.5 (i believe TRIN_WM6.5__3_00_707_51__B21232) and it seems pretty stable so far. The only real issue i've had is with the status icon in the top right of screen that shows programs running and mem usage, it's disappeared and the only way i got it back was doing a hard reset, but then it went again. Apart from that all good so far.
I'm using the rom as supplied and have installed no extras apart from TomTom7, which works fine.
I do get a bit of slow down occasionally but it doesn't seem any worse than 6.1 and killing off apps using task manager generally sorts it out.
Hope this helps

Hi deedee,
Thank you, that was good advice, I had to fix a friend's Trinthy P3600, I took your advice and 21014.1.6.0 ROMs first I tried the full version but then switched to the Medium and it was awesome. From a fresh boot it gave me more then 29MB of RAM, Then I loaded a ton off apps like iGO8, SPB mobile Shell with SPB weather and SPB TV, Mobi Pocket Reader, AE Buttons, StopTime, scientific Calculator and RDP (and I thin I am missing a couple of them) but it is working great.
Very Good Stable and Fast ROM, since it was this post of yours that guided me to that ROM so I owe you tons of Gratitude. And I also owe chanv93 lots of thansk for making such wonderful ROM and putting it out there for dumb noobs like me who are not smart enough to cook their own ROMs.
Good Work chanvi93 and many many Thanks
Hi,
since a few day I'm using WM 6.5 (Build 23007.5.3.0 German) and it's great. But there are some things I'm searching still for a resulution:
1. What have I to do to let extended GPS only download SAT postitions when active sync is in use?
2. Is is possible to move the icons at 'Start Menue'? - re/Start doesn't work on my omina i900 regreatfully.
3. Is it possible to use less rows (columns) at 'Start Menue'?
Thanks a lot for helping me.
Hi All,
Been trawling through the Wiki & forum, still confused as to the numerous 6.5 ROMs available. Would appreciate feedback on which one is best for :
- T-Mobile UK (bad signal area so good radio needed)
- good battery life
- Would like the latest (2.6) TouchFlo / Manila
- Regularly use GPS w. TomTom
- Need MS Office functions to be kept on the phone
- Needs to browse (stably) with HSDPA
- Bluetooth.
My phone is also used for my business mobile so the phone function needs to be *very* stable.
Thanks
Dave
Hi
I've been reading on here and there are lots of great info and things.
However I am struggling to decide what to put on my Touch HD.
It is a work one, so don't want to put on too many things, in case i bugger it up.
So far:
updated to .Net 3.5
BSB Tweaks (though not seen any noticeable difference)
Opera 10 (so much better...)
So what apps and games themes (not too crazy as i do use it for business) can I put on to make my iPhone friends jealous (or at least quieten them down a little)
Thanks
if i were you i would put a new rom on there. find one that doesnt seem to have problems (check the thread for what people are writing) then you shouldnt have any issues with it being a work phone
Cheers for the reply.

How do you know what version of Manila you are running and also what ROM?
Could you suggest a good ROM for my Touch HD?
How about:
- SpoonTorch (turn your blackstone into a flashlight)
- TomTom 7 (Navigation)
- HTC Addicts Clean RAM (clean up ram and make the phone faster)
- Xtract (3d hardware accelerated game)
- Midomi (let it listen to a song and it shows you what song it is)
- Panoramic moTweets (twitter client)
- Google maps (ofcourse)
- Slide2shutdown
