Low battery warning - Touch HD General

Hi
Is there any settings where you can set up a sound when battery level is low.
I didn't find one. Also tried a search in this forum but nothing came up.

Speaker Volume, how can I turn this up?

Hey guys, i've been doing a couple searches but it doesn't seem like I've been able to find the answer I was looking for. How can I turn up the phones earpiece volume? (ie. the speaker at the top of the phone in between the blinking lights for incoming/outgoing calls).
I tried editing everything outlined in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=41273&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
without any luck other than getting my ringtones and media volumes to play louder.
I also found another thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=42246&highlight=sound+vol - that asks the same questions without any results.
Can this be done? I hope so because during calls the volume is just too low for my tastes, even with the slider up to the highest setting.
Thanks.
Same problem here
Same here the volume on this thing is terrible. Speaker phone is useless as well. I used to use a program on my treo called volume care wish there was something like this for the MDA, the only way i can hear it at all in the car is with my bluetooth and everything turned up to max.
there has to be some sort of fix for this.

[Q] (Q) Volume level problem when battery is low

I have a problem with the volume level on the device. On several occasions the volume drops to a very low level. This happens to all the sounds on the device like ringtone, music, reminders, etc. The level indicator on device is at top level, yet the sound is barely noticable. Seems like this occurs when battery is low. Only way to fix this is to restart the DHD. Anyone else have this problem? Have i missed a setting in the energy saving options at low battery level that can solve the problem? Is there a fix i missed? Already done the two OTA updates. This does not solve the problem.
Don't know if it's just when battery level is low but i experience that volumes over all are very low on this phone, both through headphones and rear speaker, have missed a bunch of calls because of this.
Hope there is something that can be fixed about it.
yes have had this problem, although I don't think I had low battery at the time.
a restart did fix the problem and afaik the problem hasn't come back since (and hopefully never will!)
What i dont get is why HTC left the volume so low when one of the main features in their video was that if the phone is tucked away it will ring louder and such but that wont help when the ringer max level is too low. Even my wildfire has more acceptable ringer volume...

absolutely agree. Even at full volume, the phone is not audible when stored in pocket, jacket or similar. pretty large fail from HTC if you ask me. The feauture would work if it would increase the max volume BEYOND the usual max volume we can set in the system, but alas, no cookie
PS in combination with "battery low"; check whether the energy saving features are enabled. You can configure a hell of a lot in these energy saving settings and it might be the case here also
Maybe the "quiet ring on pickup" option clashes with the "pocket mode" - if its in your pocket, but you're moving around, the "quiet ring" might override the pocket mode louder ring?
Haven't had a chance to test this though
Its not the quiet ring feature since it actually does ring, just not loud enough.

Omg .. After proximity sensor n Battery .. now this ??

[Q] Any way of turning up the volume?

Hi guys. I just bought this phone and I've noticed that the volume is extremely low. No matter if we talk about music, videos, or the ringer volume. I think it's the phone with the lowest volume I've ever had. I tried to search on the forum, but couldnt find a post on this. Is there any way to turn the volume up? Do you also have this issue?
Have a look at this...

Thank you man for the quick reply.

Volume too low until 70% and suddenly increases to audible level above that?

Hello Guys,
I have observed this since day 1 on my nexus 6p, that up till 70% volume level (volume steps), the sound is barely audible in lightly noisy room and then from 75% to 100% (volume steps) volume increases drastically and is loud, crisp & clear!
Are you having same kind of behavior on your device as well? If so, is it an issue or is it intended?

+1 for this, been trying to find service menu code to play around with the Volume levels and see if it fixes it.

No man, I am trying to solve couple of issues
1) Volume is not audible until you raise it to 3/4 or more.
2) Volume through headphones suck.
3) Trying to find a fully functional in ear headphones - Is a daunting task..Still researching.
Bumping up this thread for more people to share their observations and solution if they found any.
Mine has the same behaviour.
Having the same issue. Volume is essentially nonexistent until about 75-80% then it becomes loud as ****.
Usually only happens if I get a notification while watching a youtube video. Very annoying and its obviously software.

Suddenly lower audio

I dont get this phone. It has suddenly begun to not play as loud as it used to 6 months after i got it. And from what i can tell this seems to be a problem others have had too. I've tried the suggested calibration here but it does help a little bit, but If i plug in a headset and plug it out again the sound is really low. If i go to the sound settings and turn down the volume (and it has to be from in there) and back up again it gets a little louder but not as loud as it has been.
What can i do ? I've rad about this "Smart amplifier calibration" but all that thing has done is create this problem it seems, as my Z3 Compact has no issues
