T-mob Ameo for sale.......Good for Athena project?

Hello peeps,
I am SKINT. BROKE. POOR.
My mate is also giving me his Vario 2......Now I love my Ameo, the speed and everything is great BUT....I dont think I am rich enough to own one at the moment.....
I use the hard drive....but I have a 4 GB mem stick...
I used the GPS on my motorbike....once....Worked out I need a car.
I love watching movies on this, anything I download willl play on this baby
BUT I now dont use my PSP...
I spend too much time installing Crap and finding out I will never use it......
I dont know how much this is worth, it has small mark(tiny) on keyboard at bottom and small mark above the screen on the far right where the keyboard rubs.
apart from that, its mint.
I have everything from the box: (inc box)
Charger
headset
Case thing
Spare pen
Brown leather flip case.
Also in the err...case thing:
one of those 4 in 1 adapters with USB and Svid/composit out from expansys.
An Svid cable
512 mini SD card and adapter
Screen cleaner (nicked it from blackberry)
Its obviously still on WM 5.
Its running Mytrue VGA and works pretty flawlessly.
It has TOM TOM with UK maps.
Microdrive even has some PRON on it for lucky bidder.......
This is the second one I have had from T-mobile. It is about 7 weeks old.
(my mate dropped the other one and I had to do some quick talking )
Anyone want to make me an offer?
I live in London and work in the city, I have motorbike and I can get to most places pretty quick, like Microchip. I will be well willing to travel for some cash.
I would like cash for this beast but I would consider a reasonably specced laptop as a swap.....(as long as it works, condition of laptop is not an issue.)

How much are you looking for for it ?, I am after one to replace my MDA Vario II and am a cash buyer, I am watching 5 ameo's on ebay at the moment !

I dont need it now, bought one off ebay this morning, cost £450 for a brand new Ameo, I'm happy now !, time to pension off my vario II and XDA exec that it replaces

*mostly debranded* tmobile ameo CID UNLOCKED wm6 for sale ;)

evenin all, well after all the kafuffle of getting my device unlocked and cid unlocked aswell as upgraded to wm6 ive decided to sell my lil baby as i cant use it at work for security reasons. ;-(
its boxed in superb condition! comes with all tmobile extras, all cables, igo 2006 pre installed with the brown leather case it comes with.
as for debranding, used the sugar cube trick and removed the ameo and branding on the main front of the unit and the back of the keyboard. only brand is on the back in the white sealed gps section.
want a quick sale so looking for £390 colected or 395 inc postage.
ill put up or send pics if anyones interested but we all know what this baby looks like ;-)

This might sound stupid . . .
IS the sugar cube trick literally that . . . you scrubbed off the logo with a sugar cube?
I would have been interested if I hadn't just bought one for the same price.

Cingular 8125 with two 4GB MiniSD Cards - FOR SALE

All,
I am selling a slightly used Cingular 8125 with two 4GB MiniSD cards w/adapters and a leather book cover type case (no clip). It is missing the rubber piece on the battery cover and the little mirror is scratched (because of the missing rubber). I can take pics of it if anyone is interested. It is unlocked and running WM6.
I was converted... and I am currently using.. an iphone... I know, I know.. I have gone to the darkside.. but, it is so nice and warm hanging with the Dark Lords!
I am asking $250, mainly because of the memory cards. Let me know what you think and feel free to email me with questions and offers. Please do not PM me, as I don't check it very often.

It's not just the housing, it's a fully functional phone AND a SPARE housing.
$100 works out about £60 GBP, I was really hoping to get more then that considering all the parts.. I paid £40 for the spare housing, £20 each for the desktop cradles......

Vega vs superpad / flytouch

Well I thought I would post this up incase someone was after a cheap touchpad and was thinking of the superpad / flytouch.
I purchased a superpad 2 off eBay last week and although it's slightly smaller in size (thinner bezel) it just doesn't cut it. It came the next day as the seller was in the UK. Spec's were 512MB rom and 8GB internal microSD card. This cost me £140 to the door. After trying to get to grips with it.. I could not even unlock it sometimes due to my fat fingers and the resistive touch screen. The speed of it isnt bad but after playing with my vega it now seems slow.
If anyone wants anymore details then please let me know.. but my advice if you can afford it is pay the extra £60 and buy a brand new Vega!!! Once you have updated the firmware with one of these roms on this site you wont look back..
