Music Playback pause when headphones unplugged. - XPERIA X1 General

Planning to get the X1 soon but just wondering is there any music player for the X1 that would pause music when the headphones are unplugged? + also have sleep timer? Recommend some music aps please!
Thanks.

I would also like something that stops the music when the headset is unplugged.
Kinda embarrasing to sit in class and, by accident, unplugging the headset and spreading the tunes in the classroom.

This one turns the musicplayer on when headset is inserted.. Also the other way around. A very nice player.. And freeware...

s2p looks like a nice alternative, however I prefer the multimedia panel.
It shouldn't be so hard to make a script or something for it?
My thought is that you have a program, script or whatever that detects if the headphones are unplugged and then mutes the phone. Should also work with A2DP bluetooth headset.
It would be a big plus on xperia, since media is its weak spot right now. Imho.

Problems listening to music with screen turned off

Hi all.
I've got a problem, if I'm listening to streamed music (i.e. web-radio) via the default application (HTC streaming media for Pocket PC) or if I listen to MP3 via "Coreplayer" and turn of the screen by the on/off button on top of the phone, the phone goes down in to "stand by mode" and turns of/pauses the application that plays music.
I listen to the music in "earplugs" or through my car-stereo via a standard 3.5mm cable. (I dont use the original ear-phoes that came with the phone).
Anybody knows whats wrong?
How can I listen to music whith the screen turned of?
I Have The Same Screen Off Problem

I have the same problem trying to listen to music with the screen off. The worst thing about it is that i know that my x1 can do it because sometimes when i press the power button the music shuts off and sometimes it doesn't.
I'm still looking for a solution to this problem
Try Mortplayer...much, much better for Audio listening...allows what you are looking for.

Music is playing on speaker when I pull my headset out

Got a problem: when I pull my headset out the music goes playing through the speaker.. that's very annoying when I pull my headset out at school where it has to be quiet. Is there any solution?
Turn of the music before you pull out the headset?
^^ lol said like it should be.
However i agree to some degree, it should have a timer like after 5 seconds then the music starts playing.
I think if you switch to S2P and use S2U2 the removal of the headphones will stop the music.

music stops when headset disconnects

is there an app/tweak out there that stops music playback when headphones are disconnected? like your listening to music, and u pull the cord - and the music automatically pauses or stops.
Ooh, I would love a tweak like that!
S2P with SU2U got this functionality

Stop Notifications From Interrupting Music

I noticed on Desire roms that when a notification goes off while music is playing that the notification plays other the music so the music does not pause. However on Stock/Cyanogen instead that the music is silenced then the notification is played ruining the music experience. Is there anyway to get around this other than putting the phone on silent/vibrate?
ya this is SOO annoying. i get frequent emails and it just is irritating. a workaround would be nice. thanks for posting this.
The notification sound doesn't interrupt music here. I use CM 5.0.3.1.
+1 for this
I use my n1 as primary music player
Also wondering if anyone also interested having the trackball to be able to control music playback while the device panel is off. sliding the trackball will go reverse and sliding forward will fastforward.
Or even just pressing the trackball to change tracks.
I know all of this is possible with the stock headphones that come with the n1 but i dont use them. they are big and ugly imo. lol sorry to get off topic but i think this is kinda on the same wavelength
On stock nexus one, music pauses for notifications when using wired headphones but not when listen through bluetooth headset.

Whenever I use my stock my headphones, the music just seems to mute while the notification plays. I've noticed that most times, if not every time, the song has skipped a few seconds while muted, as if it were still playing while notification was playing. Very annoying.

That would be very cool....controlling the music with the Trackball during the display is off....wow
Only if it doesn't interfere with the Navigation. You do not want the Nav and Music playing together. The Hero does this and you can't hear the Nav Directions. Useless. So, yeah...if it doesn't interfere with the Nav.....it'll be a good idea!

Are you sure your phone isn't on vibrate or silent?
This is only happening with wired headset.
Use Bluetooth one and the notifications wont interrupt the music.

Does it play with the music or not at all?
You're lucky you didn't have a G1.
When plugged into my car, listening to music / podcasts, if a notification came in, the sound would be so freaking loud it would shatter my eardrums.
You'd learn fast to put it on vibrate...
Luckily, the N1 doesn't have the same volume difference problems.

+2 Yes this would be a very nice.
It is so annoying since the Nexus has replaced my ipod on the daily commute.

over BT the notification will play WITH the music and not instead of the music.
With a wired headset the notifications will stop the music, please notification and resume music.

[Q] Bluetooth headphone issue - audio playback

Hey everyone, just upgraded to the atrix, loving the phone so far but I've recently come across an issue and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem (or can explain why it occurs):
when listening to audio I turn off the screen and about 2-5 minutes in (sometimes more, sometimes less) the audio just stops. The headset doesn't disconnect, the music just cuts out and when I bring up the music player and hit play it just starts it over from the beginning. However if I leave the screen on the entire time I'm playing audio, it never cuts out
I use a motorola S305 bluetooth headset, the files are .mp3 format and I've tried playing them from SDcard and internal phone storage..they played perfectly fine on my HTC HD2 with the same headset so it's not the files themselves or the headset. Anyone else have this issue?
Interesting. I noticed the same thing last night. Doesn't always do that, but I thought it was weird when it did. I'm using the same s305 headset.
I was just about to post this! it's so annoying. It will play fine forever until i turn the screen on to do something, then it turns off the audio like 3 minutes into the song. what's worse, it's not pausing it, it's stopping it. if you check the music player, the position on the song will be reset. very annoying for audio books!
I just tested it playing thru the phone speaker and it shuts off in about 3 minutes as well, doesn't seem to be related to bluetooth at all.
Is the player added to your ignore list in any task manager/killer?
Personally, i've tried 3 players, the stock music player,Mixzing and Poweramp. all three do exactly the same thing. No task killers installed, with the built in task manager, it's not added to the kill list. I'm rooted btw.
I am having a similar problem to this and I was just about to post, when streaming via bluetooth to my car stereo using Pandora, my phone will completely freeze and after maybe 1 min of freeze will do a complete reboot. I even restored phone and it still does it.
