Out of curiosity then, what are the differences then between 6.1 and 6.5... these screen shots are not as I expected! or is this just using parts of 6.5 to create a stable rom?

performance is bad... very slow, and doesn't respond to screen taps very good...

Because i usually only use 'naked' rom's this feels a bit lumpy (slow). M2d scrolls ok (found this an issue on previous 6.1 Roms). Nice touch with the battery/vol etc icons across the top bar, like having wisbar, but without having it...
Camera doesn't work, doesn't show a display.

Did you notice something different scroll in contacts and in the program folder ??(not manila program folder)

i've seen an old hp with win mobile 6.1 and the scroll was perfect. I think that this fact is related to the video driver....Im very happy of my shekhar rom but the scroll is ridicolous

Contact scroll - good, as good as i've seen it on any ROM
Program scoll - Jumpy not smooth at all, takes a second to refresh the icons
I've removed M2D from the today section and install winterface (my preferred UI) and that seems smooth and as fast as its been on the naked rom's - so thats promising..

Funny i was thinking the same
Sktools is showing this as OS 5.2.21140.3

i hope that htc will relase also a new set of driver...
the 6.5 relase is still under heavy (??) development.. so we must wait before to comment

It can use 1.59.44.02

to see if its really WM6.5 just deactivate touchflo (with advancedconfig, or something similar) and go to the programs folder and scrool with finger...
it should bounce once it reaches begging/end of icons list...
i didn't release mine cause there is really nothing new...and its full of bugs...
it scrolls better...better then 6.1 but still icon refresh issues...hope its gone on final...

People! Please! no rom request here! _lab is working hard on the WWE release but it will have an own thread and all descussions and requests can be posted there (or in the current GER thread)!
So please: only descussion about Manila 2.5, its features and Porting here!!!

any time frame for a release date?

Please lets not let this thread just turn into hundreds of pages of requests for release times/dates.
We are all keenly awaiting this, and I am sure that the team is going as fast as they can.

Cabs/Packages will be released after successful testing in our roms. Because if it is workung on a hardly optimized (for Manila 2.5) Rom like SUN_X, it doesn't mean that you can install everything simply with a cab. This needs some more work to include correct reg settings, to test it on different roms (and stock roms), to figure out ALL dependencies and so on. There are much more Packages Manila 2.5 depends on than Manila 2.1!
So please be patient and check out _labs and MuttiMs roms when they are released.

Tell us a little more about the animated backgrounds. Is that like a slideshow way of changing backgrounds, or something more exotic?

Does it work correctly in landscape, especially in the music and messaging tabs, those are the 2 most used by me

Is there any way we could change the slider to one more like the one 2.1 on the energy roms because this one is a bit to thin and does not look that good?

Collection of Dialers (PhoneCanvas), Skins, Fixes and Others. All Resolutions!!!

Hello to everyone I know there are many threats that talked about dialers or phonecanvas but I would like to create a threat with a collection of dialers of all kinds, and different resolutions to make it easier for all users to look at them in just one threat with different links.
If everyone can please help, please ONLY provide pictures and the link of the actual threath of the Dialer or phonecanvas as well as skins. Dont forget to provide the resolution type too.
If there are other Resolutions than WVGA, QVGA or VGA please let me know when you provide a skin or a dialer with a diferent resolution.
When providing Skins please also tell for what resolution or if it is multiple resolutions.
Please let me know if you guys would like me to add some fixes and others in this threat too or not??

By the way, if you are running WM 6.5 on a Raphael, and replace cprog.exe and tpcutil.dll with versions from a WM 6.1 ROM, you can use the stock TP/Fuze dialers and Video Calling without the annoying contact blurring while scrolling. Furthermore, if you are running Sense, you can use the NoHTCPhoneCanvas tweak found in the Manila tweaks in this thread and it works almost perfectly in both landscape and portrait . The only problem is that you can't change the "reject phone call with message" from the Manila advanced settings page. Delete the ExtNewPhoneSetting package from EXT and even this is a non-issue.

Thanks a lot Lion, we all hope that here in CC could search for repositories threads that has everything we need to cook.
Cause we all know search with the above tool is not a good idea if we dont know the right keywords. but that is easily fixed reading even if you dont have nothing to do with that issue.. it provides you the keywords to search.
Even tho the CC team has been made a Main Stickie where you can found everything related to CC like repositories tutorials and all the solved threads right here alphabetical order.
ATM i will post this thread in the Main Stickie Repositories even if it is not fully filled cause we all must to help providing OUR or FORUMS dialers.
All posts with links and dialers will be deleted once the OP merge them into main posts

[ROM WWE] [LEO] [Sense 2016] [OS 6.5.5] [July 19 2010] GhostX Series - Download!

I have developed a new rom from scratch. I have tested the rom and it is running stable. I have used the following to create the rom.
Orgional Stock Rom: HD2 1.66 WWE
OS Ver: 23127
Sense: 2.5.2016332.0
I have changed the page pool to 18mb but have not enabled the 576mb of ram as I have found that battery life and phone call quality is much better when it is not enabled.
I have designed the rom for both speed and battery life. In tests I have seen that it is dropping about 1% an hour in stand by with hspda on.

Probably yes! I wanted to get my base rom working stable before I did too much to it. I plan on releasing a cookie version and a gtx version when I get a chance.

I will be looking to add those features into the next rom. My goal for this one was to get a stable base rom working. Any ideas on how to hack the RAM? I know it will be a registery tweak but not sure what to do!!
