Put your question in the correct forum.
You meant apps forum for HD, Diamond, or maybe HD rom's forum?
I do beleive it's situated not for third-party apps, but to a rom's, and it MIGHT be interesting to rom cookers - port some functionality from HD...

to correct location.
hope this helps

Instead of arguing about the right forum, how about answering the man? Anyone something about such an app?

I can't remember -maybe EZDial- there is a keypad software that vibrate phone when you press any key.
Can someone develop this feature for HTC's keyboards and keypads. This feature not same hard key but feel the key if pressed or not pressed. And easy use without looking key. eg. SMS writing....
sorry for bad english.
I don't think that this has anything to do with ROM development. Mods please move this thread.

sorry but i think that will be a killer app for diamond and if cooks cook it in it is relevant for this rom developement thread ;-)
I agree too.
I had this feature on my last LG Viewty.
It's really usefull when u press the keypad per exemple.
Sur it's no good for the battery, but, as an external application that can be switched off/on when we want... hummm could be cool!
i had this on a viewty too, then i send back the viewty after 2 days for not syncing with like 10 different pcs, dont add this feature, or make it a option instead of a always-on-thing, because i really dont want to remember that viewty, seriouslly

Despite the anguish that this application would apparently cause to suicidal.banana (seriously, just don't install it!) I think this would be awesome too...and the same idea is floating around in two or three other threads as well.
I'm coming from p1i and having lost the feeling of pressing a real key is a mess.
I think a very small vibration when a character is pressed would be a great idea

Are you a mod? I personally don't mind suggestions in a thread. Helps me feel out the consensus of the thread.
I know someone made a program like this for the Kaiser, I don't know if it would work here though.
maybe this one should help.
it works even tough by now it introduces some small delay when scrolling the touchflo. it's worth a try anyway
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2623677
What you guys want is called Haptic Feedback. Phone would vibrate when a button on the touch screen is pressed so that it feels like you're pressing a real button.. sort of.
I would like this too! haha. Even the Sony Ericsson G700 has this feature.
I know they are different, mainly because of the keyboard...
The main cons in HD in my opinion is the lack of flash... why is that?
And my main concern about Xperia is the fact its not completely HTC... will the community be strong? many roms? development guys working on it?
Will the prices match?
What do you think?

Sorry for the trouble, can a moderator please move my thread to Blackston Apps forum ?
Thanks a lot and sorry again...
Thread moved and edited title so as users can see subject before opening.
Thanks mod, i forgot puting a subject (weird day today ), sorry about that...
Anyway, back on topic, has anyone any idea of a better camera application ?
don't know of a better one, but I've noticed on the many of the PDAVIET roms that those guys are using a different HTC Camera, that has a zoom function. Not sure where they get it, or what version it is.
Hm, strange thing
I would of expect to exist at least one application beside HTC Camera....

The official HTC camera application for Blackstone has Zoom by default, but since every one is using custom roms which get the camera application from later phone modules (Roms) it does not come with zoom in the camera.
If you want you can search for it in forums you will find it as I have seen it here before.
I'm expecting my epic any day now
studying the site for the last few days and came across this :
youtube.com/watch?v=GPrcdbIuWaU
does anyone know which ROM this actuallly is?
thanks!
Hey thanks for joining XDA.
Unfortunately I don't know what ROM that is, but I'm sure someone here will come up with the answer.
And just a heads up (not to pick on but to inform) please post future question threads like these in the General forum. The Development forum is for specifically discussing development. I know there are a lot of bad examples already but the more we can prevent the quicker that will change.
Judging by the title, you're asking because it appears to be HTC Sense UI. It unfortunately is not. It's just a "theme". You can tell by the lockscreen and the system info screen he calls up. It's Froyo build DJ29 (which is one of the Froyo build leaks on this forum). You can however achieve this look even on a stock Epic. The weather clock and some of the toggle widgets (vibrate, wifi, etc) are Beautiful Widgets from the market. The dock and calendar widget are part of LauncherPro, also from the market. Both apps have themes you can download that emulate that HTC Sense UI look. The live wallpaper is Nexus Revamped (you guessed it, from the market). Have fun with your new Epic!

Isn't this the section General for his phone relating to the Samsung Epic 4g?
Thanks los1223. When you say 'stock Epic' do you mean a unrooted Epic with just a simple theme change? .... can't wait to get the Epic... should be here tomorrow...

Yes. You can install the launcher pro app and the beautiful widgets app and theme them. They do not require root to install/customize.
Again, welcome to the community.

probably the problem is related to "8K_touchpdd_res.dll". How to change the dll in rom files?
Where can i get the right pictures for making lockscreen work in Aero-Mode?

Exclamation marks (!) indicate a statement not a question. Questions are indicated by a question mark (?)... regardless of the [Q] in the title!

You can create a trasparent wallpaper and set it in locksreen. This is possible whit vettorial graphics.
Or you can google or search for "Windows Phone Transparent Lockscreen".

Welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately no, as posted before it is a driver issue. So we are stuck with the two finger gesture from HTC
Unless you happen to be rich, then check this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1270444
thank u for your answer. are Developers break up the wp7 developing?

No, there are xda developers, developing now for WP7!
But problem is with the software for the hardware (which is now 3 years old!)=drivers
HTC might have them, but will probably not release them, if they exist.
It is very hard to edit or write new drivers without in-depth knowledge of the hardware=>HTC
The sad part is that WP7 "just work" without any tweaking (on a native device). The only thing people would like to have is personalization/ pirate apps.

Wrong answer. Correctly stated, the hd2 doesn't currently (and won't ever in the future) support multitouch within the wp7 platform. It is, however, perfectly functional in both the stock wm6x configuration, as well as numerous high quality android builds available for your pinching pleasure HERE <---
