sim card makes bootloader stick??? - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam General

noob here - i explain as best as i can.
8525 bricked one day.
tried everything listed here (read for a few hours on hard SPL, etc.)
got frustrated - put my sim card back into old phone.
decided i would try to start up 8525 after a few weeks.
it actually loaded up WM!!! seemed to be working fine.
pulled battery to put in sim card.
back to being stuck in bootloader.
tried a bunch of different things again... loaded hard spl via SD card...ended up pulling sim card out... did a hard reset...eventually got it to boot to WM again.
put sim card back in and got stuck at bootloader.
tried to run hard spl again, even reflased the wm6 rom i got from HTC...no dice.
any ideas??? did i miss anything???
thanks in advance...

Cingular 8125 Will not Boot up Properly with SIM and Memory Card installed

This morning my phone froze up while working on a SBD application. I had to establish a hard reset, then once it started to boot up again, the date was changed to nov 24 2005 and I could not naviagate what so ever. It was basically in a frozen state. I couldnt even hard reset the device. I then took out the battery and let it sit for a few minutes and attempted again.
Same problem. So I took out the sim card and the memory card and I was able to boot into WM fine and I could navigate through the OS fine without any issues. I couldnt make a phone call since my SIM card was not installed. I popped in the Memory card and I was able to get it to open up.
I tried a friends SIM card on my phone and the issue was still present. My sim card seem to work fine on his phone. I am pretty much stuck and can't think of what else I can do to resolve this issue.
Anyone have any ideas that could help me get out of this problem? I would really appreciate it very much!

Unusal Situation with Screen Passcode

Hi all,
I recently took out my sim card to replace it with a new one. However, when i placed the new one in and turned the BA on i recieved no signal, furthermore, when i put the passcode in, it said it was wrong. of course, I have punched in the right code i have always been using.
i have tired hard reseting but it still doesnt work.
Are there any other options avaliable apart from flashing a rom in again?
Any help or suggestion will be appriciated.
Kind regards,
Jason
some help would be appriciated

These are both known glitches in the BA with WM6
For the no signal a soft-reset should fix it, for some reason if you remove the battery and then replace, the first boot has no radio initialization, but a soft-reset after that fixes it.
As for the passcode, you have to clean your hive file to regain access to the device. You do not need to format storage, but all your registry settings for installed software will be gone. Most likely a re-install of each app will be needed.
i just went through this..i tried changing my sim card and i was freaked when i saw no radio rom installed..then i upgraded to radio 1.15 and first it worked but again i t showed the same so i went into bootloader an then soft-reset and its working till then ( about 5 softresets till now)
cheers guys, will try that out.

please help i am desperate

i bought a t-mobile hd2, it is unlocked since it doesn't ask for a code, if i insert sim card it gets freeze every couple of minutes i tried to flash new rom change radio spl, nothing worked. only if i take the sim out it works like charm but the moment i put the sim in i freezes, i tried different sim same problem ? i did search cant solve my problem
If it's your SIM card, just take it into T-mobile, they'll replace it free & quick. But make sure you have the stock rom on it when you take it in or it will void any warranty.
If it's your microSD card try formatting it to your phone. If that doesn't work it's probably corrupt. Not sure if it's covered or not.
Sorry I couldn't be of much more help, but I'm sure one of these brilliant minds on here can help more.

It didn't ask for a code? so you aren't with T-mobile then I'm guessing..
You might wanna try a hard-reset, and if there's an SD card in there try taking it out.

SIM card problems

Hi, I have a serious problem with my G3 (Kyrillos' ROM v5.5). Sometimes my phone doesn´t recognize SIM card during its running. I switch it on normally, PIN code is correct, SIM card is loaded and after some mins or hours it all of a sudden can´t read it and I have to remove SIM and then insert it again. Is it hardware problem or what´s wrong with my phone? Thanks
Try to clean your sim with a tissue or something. I had the same problem once, cleaned the sim card a bit and now its gone.
I cleaned it, we´ll see how it´s gonna work
I had this problem on my phone after a bad flash. I think it was the modem image or something. Flash it back to the stock JPM and flash it to your normal firmware you use to do a full reset.

Sim card not detected

Hey, I've had my Moto X Pure (XT1575) for a bit over a year now, and it's been great up until I updated it to 7.0 a week ago. It has been saying "No SIM card" and I have been unable to do much with it. Rebooting the phone will fix the issue and cell service will work for for about 5 minutes, then it disconnects again. Taking the sim card out and putting it back in will also fix it for about 5 minutes. I have cleaned the sim card and port, but that has not helped. I have also tried factory resetting the phone but the issue is still there, even during setup. The phone is running stock android with a locked bootloader. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Replace the SIM card...
Check if another SIM card is working fine with the phone or not. If yes, then you need to follow what acejavelin has suggested above.
