Hi, is there anyway i can change this? if i am making a phone call and i receive a text message i'll hear the phonecall + the sms tone....
Secondly is it possible to stop the sms tone automatically after 30 seconds?
Third ; if someone makes a missed call sometimes my diamond hangs on vibrating and stopt vibrating within 5 min.

I too would like to stop the sms tone when on a phone call.
Also, stop the sms tone if i respond to the phone, ie. i get a message, i touch the screen, the tone stops playing, rather than it playing all the way until the tone has finished. (my current work around is to only have a 5sec msg tone)

Press the Hang-Up button to stop playing the message alert/ringtone, but it sucks dat you have to do that..
First. It has to stop playing the ringtone after about 15 sec. then wait 1 min or 2/5/15/30/60 mins then replay it for about 15 sec... or some kind of other notification.
Second. It has to stop playing if you get a phone call or press the top-power-button. and if the message isn't viewed in 1 min or 2/5/15/30/60 mins replay the ringtone for about 15 sec or some kind of other notification.
Problem is if i get a phone call and receive a message while calling, i cant stop it because if i hit the hang up button, both will hang, if i don't do a thing i'll hear music of the ringtone & the person i have a conversation with talking.. HELP!?

Cannot stop the sms tone after an sms is received on O2 exec
Everytime i receive an sms on my exec, after reading it, regardless of option i choose (dismiss, mark as read...) the sms sound continues to play... This is troublesome because after i finish checking my sms, the sound continues and would disturb people around... I used to have a xda II that has the same problem but pressing the power button stops it. But this time, the exec continues to play the sound when i on the phone again... For my sms tone, i changed it to an 2 minute wav file, so it has to play for 2 minutes... The size odf the wav file is 6mb... Not only that... the notification led continues to blink red forever and the device continues to vibrate for 2 minutes... Is there anyway i can solve this problem?
No ring?
Sometimes my phone turns on, displays call ID, and even rings via bluetooth, but it won't make an audible ring. I know that all volume settings are correct because afterwards my missed call sound plays. Any ideas what is going on or how to fix it?
Hi, I get this too occasionally - all of a sudden I will get a voicemail message and the phone did not ring. then a few mins later I may get another call and it rings as normal...
I am running ringo, so if you are as well that might be the problem.
Mad Mad Ring time
Am i missing something here,..?? I have set a MP3 as my incoming ring tone and the file lasts for just over 1 minute but when it is assigned as my incoming ring tone it will only ring for no more 12 seconds before registering a missed call, is there a way to increace the ring tone time before going to missed call, the damm thing has me running like mad around the house to answer before it rings off

As part of the phone settings there are settings for what happens after your phone rings for a length of time and also for how long your phone should ring before being diverted. Take a look there and see if it solves your problem!! Matt
The only options in here are "Answer incoming calls without pressing" which is not ticked and "Talk after" and i have set it for 10 rings. But because the tone is a mp3 song, it does not seem to go on for more than 10 seconds, is there another way or am i looking in the wrong place
Start->Settings->Phone->Services->Call Forwarding->"Forward phone calls only if"-> "No answer: voicemail number, Forward after: 30 seconds"

If youre device has video calling/receiving - theres a similar option accessed from the phone pad, under video call settings. Matt
Topaz continues to vibrate for 2 seconds after answering a call
My Topaz is set with vibration+ring, suddenly after answering a call it opens the call and stopping the ring, but continuing to vibrate for 2 seconds... Do you have a clue?
Longer SMS Notifications Sounds
When i try to set like a 5 second sms tone the sound gets automatically cut off at 3 secs or so....and the tone is choppy. Anyone know how to make it longer?
